We couldn't have been happier with Dockham Builders for our first floor renovation. It was extensive... and we had many roadblocks throughout - but Dockham was helpful and professional, and in the end, they gave us a beautiful kitchen, bar and office. We worked with Dockham Builders on a kitchen renovation and expansion on our home in Exeter. It was our second project with them the first being 17 years before for a farmers porch so we knew they would provide us with a quality product. The timing of our renovation was peak pandemic and despite facing numerous supply chain issues, labor issues, cost changes, and a family of 7 unexpectedly under foot Dockham was able to complete our project to perfection! The kitchen is simply gorgeous! The cabinetry is so durable for the crazy crew living here and the features for convenience make such a difference in daily prep. Their suggestion for a raised ceiling over the addition and additional windows has changed the whole aesthetic. People often comment that the kitchen looks like it’s from a magazine. The crew coming and going were always respectful of our living there while they were working and Bob himself made an appearance now and then to make sure things were as he would expect them to be. We look forward to growing our family with grandchildren and enjoying this kitchen for years to come. We can’t recommend Dockham Builders highly enough.

Dockham did a major renovation project for us. The project went as planned and when there were issues, as there always are, Dockham did a great job of explaining options and solutions. Also, we had a small problem, 2 years later and Dockham came by to address the issue without any hassle.

They designed the rooms, helped us in selecting fixtures, met us at vendors to get the best deals and and payed attention to every detail during construction. We had a great experience with Dockham Builders. We had them replace every window in our house, along with some roofing, siding, and other projects. They did excellent work, while being very respectful of our home. Communications throughout the process, and coordination of the subcontractors was very good as well. We would highly recommend them and use them again for future projects!

We've been working with Dockham Builders for 2.5 years on a multi-phase renovation on our home in Rye, NH. During that time, ownership transferred to Keith Dockham and we have been very pleased with the outcome of our home. I would recommend working with Keith and the Dockham team.

- The team: Janelle helps home owners though the design phase and has numerous contacts with local suppliers. She also has a keen eye and goes above and beyond to offer helpful suggestions. Amy who helps with financials in the office is incredibly responsive. Our project manager Brian has great attention to detail, follows-up, and takes constructive feedback with the best intentions to get the job done right. Finally, Nate who did much of our carpentry work on-site has been excellent. On his last day of work on the project, my five year old became so accustomed to seeing him in the morning before the bus arrived that she gave him a hug. The entire team truly creates a welcoming environment.

- The quality: The quality of the work is high. When something isn't done correctly, they often point it out themselves and make it right. In addition, there were change orders that arose after we saw selections in place and figured out it wouldn't work long-term for our family. Dockham was always collaborative to work with us on a solution to ensure our project was everything we wanted it to be.

- Customer service: For Dockham, their customer service doesn't end on Friday at 4 p.m. You can use their app to communicate with them at any time and there were multiple times through the project where I had to reach out on nights and/or weekends to ensure we had questions answered to keep the project on track. For example, during our construction, we experienced severe storms. I came to the house and there was some water in one area of the renovation. A call to Keith on Sunday and he was there with Jeff within a half hour to assess and remedy the issue.

- Timeliness: A big reason we selected Dockham was that we didn't need to wait months to get our project started. They have dedicated subs that help keep projects running on-time. Our second phase was done a couple weeks early.

The deck they built went way above a beyond our expectations and we were totally impressed by their quality carpentry. Highly recommend Dockham. We worked with them for over 18 months on 2 phases of our project and are extremely pleased with the outcome! They have amazing staff who truly want to work with you to ensure they deliver your dream They shared creative ideas and expertise from other jobs that made a significant impact on the renovations. A little bit sad that the project is over as they were very pleasant interact with, especially Keith, Nate, Matt and Nick.

Dockham Builders worked on both our kitchen and bathroom remodels, as well as insulating, drywalling, and painting our living area. Quality work; clean worksite maintenance.

Dockham came out to inspect a home we were looking at, then once we had made the purchase they arranged for a number of improvements and repairs which had been identified. Work was dome in a timely fashion and work supervision and trades people were all very polite, informative, and easy to work with. We would definitely recommend this firm to other homeowners.

We've used Dockham Builders several times and their work is always excellent. They have found and fixed leaks in our 18-init condo building that other contractors could not. The quality of their work is excellent, and customer communication is top notch as well. They came up with a creative solution to rebuild our deck floors so rain gets diverted, so it does not drop down to the deck below while still having spaces between the deck boards required by Azek decking. I would absolutely use them again.
