Awesome quick response. Thoroughly assessed the situation which was a really messy drain overflow…with yucky stuff in it (if you know what I mean), and built a remediation plan that is being executed as we speak. I’m really happy with the response thus far, but the most important thing it that they listened and responded accordingly, which makes my wife very happy. Happy wife, happy life. Two technicians and an apprentice arrived at our house within an hour of contacting them. All three were friendly, professional, and extremely knowledgeable. They were quickly able to diagnose the cause of the water leak and collapsed ceiling in our upstairs bathroom, and begin the restoration process. Thank you for the prompt service and reassurance that everything will be done properly and safely.

We were frantic when we realized that the basement had flooded in our newly built home after a very strong Michigan rain storm. Luckily, we called Doan Restoration who has a 24 hour emergency phone number. From the moment we called until the two technicians left it was the most incredibly professional and wonderful experience. The two technicians helped to relax us and were so informative and kind.Cody & Brian explained everything to us step by step, showing us visual moisture sensors and immediately set up huge industrial fans & dehumidifiers. We couldn’t be more thrilled with these 2 techs and Doan as the company guiding us through this restoration process.HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Jeremy and Cody came out at the recommendation of our plumber. When they arrived, they
Found there was nothing they could do before the plumber did his work.
HOWEVER they crawled down in the crawl space and checked everything out . They took photos of the problem area and explained exactly what needed to be done in laymen’s language. They gave us a real understanding of the situation. They were so courteous and friendly and knowledgeable. They are outstanding employees!

Understand all the processing and work to be done. I am a senior and so pleased with the companies willingness to put me at ease.

I contacted 1800 Water Damage and got in touch with this company. I was able to get a free estimate in a timely manner which was great. The only appointment time they offered required me to leave work early, but it was a fast turnaround so I was happy to do it in order to get the repairs started. The day of the scheduled estimate, I received a call at the time of my appointment letting me know they would be late. I'm surprised they did not realize they would be late until the time of my appointment, but at least they communicated. This repeated several times until they were around 4 hours late for my scheduled appointment. Fine, they communicated with me and I do understand things come up. Three people came to my house to do the estimate. One of the people kept wandering into rooms of my house that were not impacted by the damage where they did not need to be which made my husband and I uncomfortable. I received an estimate within a few days for mitigation which included removing a significant amount of drywall and carpet with no explanation of the repair portion of the job. I thought restoration included both the mitigation portion then the repair portion. The mitigation was to cost almost $4,000. I replied to the email asking about the next part of the job, the repair part, and did not hear from them for several days. Meanwhile, my basement is still sopping wet. I contacted another company who provided an estimate and walked me through the whole process start to finish. They were clear on how the job would go and what I could expect. They intended to keep as much of the existing drywall as possible, dry it, then determine how much to remove. Their cost was approximately half for mitigation as Doan. When I finally received a call back from Doan, the other company was already in the process of mitigation. Doan did finally explain they have a sister company that handles the repair portion. This was the first time anyone affiliated with this company explained this to me. Doan lost my business for several reasons, including but not limited to: lack of clarity/explanation of how the process should work, lack of professionalism of those entering my home, and extreme delays in communication.

I would highly recommend Doan Restoration. From the start, to the finish of the restoration, they were awesome. They answered all my questions and concerns. They did a fantastic job cleaning up all the water, walls, and mess.

Brad and Cody were awesome. What I thought was just a small flood was so much for damage than I ever could have expected. But they took me step by step explained everything, and Brad even made sure to be her when the insurance inspector showed up. Always showed up when they said they were and everything was dried out completely Definitely would recommend

Stephanie and Cody went above and beyond when they were at my home! They were courteous, professional and kind. They answered all of my questions and let me know in detail everything they were going to do.
Having plumbing problems is not fun but Cody and Stephanie relieved all anxiety I was feeling and did an awesome job.

I had their technician Eric out to resolve a water leak I had in my basement. Eric was very knowledgeable and professional. He found the problem very quickly and explained to me how to resolve it after the leak was fixed. I had him back out to do some cleaning fantastic job will definitely use Eric again
