My first mistake was having State Farm insurance when it came to filing a claim for storm damage. My second mistake was hiring D&M Roofing. The third problem was having Pella windows which cost more than what State Farm estimated. D&M Roofing refused to help me with the window discrepancy. Hire a company that isn’t greedy and doesn’t have lazy reps. The fourth problem was getting a demand letter from D&M before I even received the 2nd dispersement from State Farm. Apparently I was D&M’s first and only job? I know that’s not true which makes this even more concerning yet lame. Save yourself from these people and go elsewhere.

Michael Nowak took care of us! Exceptional communication and clear answers to my questions. He even told me what to be expecting from my insurance company and what my next steps were with them. I loved that he talked to me about the benefits of impact resistant singles as an option. I did end up going with those. I have already been referring D&M Roofing to my friends.

There’s many of things to be said about home repairs. To sum it up, Mike N was there to answer every question along the way, was easy to get ahold of when insurance had questions, the price matched the estimate, no hidden charges. Met me afterwards and did a walk through after all the work was done and fixed any concerns and issues and made sure I was happy. Work turned out great. Will be contacting D&M for future needs.

From job start to job completion everything was excellent. The job estimate for removal and replacement of our gutters was accurate, concise, and easy to understand. We had a great experience with D&M Roofing. Our representative was Mike Nowak. He was very informative and professional. He returned our phone calls quickly with answers to all of our questions. D & M Roofing worked with our insurance company and made the process in getting our new roof flawless. The men putting on the new roof worked diligently daily to make sure that the area was cleaned up before they left. We had a couple of questions about the gutters after the job was completed. Isa came over the same day to fix the problem. We were very happy with the overall job that was done. We would recommend D &M Roofing to anyone looking to replace their roof.

Dan was great to work with. He was up front and honest and did not try to sell me something I didn't need. I needed a roof repair, not a new roof. He gave me a quote, and the work was done within a couple of weeks. When I do need a new roof, I will be calling Dan for sure!!

D&M did an excellent job in all areas of the process. In our case, they helped us gather the measurements and facts we needed to file a claim against our home owners Insurance for hail damage. Then, in the end, D&M didn't get the job to replace the roof, even though they had done all the leg work. That is true customer service!

In 2022 I needed my roof replaced in a timeline based on my transfer of home insurance. D&M Roofing adjusted their tight schedule to allow me to have my roof replacement completed before my insurance expired. The workers were respective of my comings and goings and often had to move their equipment and daily supplies in order for me to exit or return to my garage. The area was cleaned up after each day before they left and at the end of the project. I was very pleased with the timely fashion in which the job was completed. Dan Satterlee, who was my contact person, answered all of my questions (which were many and often) quickly and to my satisfaction. He was an excellent person to work with on this project, I owe him a million thanks.

Recently I noticed what I thought was a problem with the ceiling in my garage. The ceiling had leaked in the past; and I thought there was new damage. I called Dan again. He came the day I called. He evaluated the garage ceiling and verified with pictures he had taken last year before the roof replacement that there really was no change that would have caused by the roof replacement. He did identify another possible cause. He and other workers cleaned and replaced the attic ventilation covers.
I will add that this was at a time when it was raining which only helped to identify the fact that the slight difference in the garage ceiling was due to a ventilation problem and not the roof leaking.
Again, I owe D&M Roofing a great thank you.

Anthony knocked on my door after recent storms and offered to look at our roof for hail damage.We had our reservations about a door knock contractor but we had neighbors using him as well. The process as Anthony described is how things went and the process was smooth with no surprises. We would highly recommend D&M to all of our friends and neighbors.

I finally was able to have my roof replaced after the storm in 2019. The entire process went smoothly, and working with Tim was great. He kept me updated the entire time. The crew did a great job cleaning up and finishing the job in a timely manner.

I contacted D&M for a roof inspection September of 2019.We worked with Jordan from September to
October. We signed a contract in October of 2019 to have the roof and gutters replaced on our home. We gave the company a 500 dollar deposit to hold a date in the schedule which would be determined when the weather warmed up. Insurance company covered half of the roof replacement and we were paying out of pocket for the rest. After winter in April of2020 we received a call from a different D&M representative Tim and were informed that we would be working with him due to Jordan not being with the company anymore. After meeting with our new representative, Tim, he was adamant that he could get our whole roof covered by insurance. Great for us! He said that we would be looking at the work being done around the end of April beginning of May. Which quickly turned to the middle of July. Granted, this took place during the COVID-19 pandemic and things being shut down. We never received updates throughout the process, 9 times out of 10 we had to reach out for an update on were things were standing. We also constantly got different stories from different people. My wife spoke to the Office Manager regarding an update on our insurance claim to see if they had approved the full replacement, as we hadn’t heard anything and Tim stated he had no response yet.The office manager proceeded to tell her around the end of June that our insurance had denied it due to it being inspected already. My wife then called our insurance and they had stated that they denied it due to not having any more evidence/new pictures showing more damage. The three people we spoke to all gave us different stories. The one positive was that the wrong company tore half of our roof off, and D and M was quick to solve the issue. The roofers were quick, efficient and did a great job cleaning up. The gutters were done after the roof, and that’s when things became an issue again. The put the front gutter on, over s siding trim piece, so the gutter was not flush against our house, as it was prior and should have been. They also informed us they were short 2 or 3 elbow pieces they needed so they would be back the following day. Well, following day comes and goes with them not being repaired. We reached out yet again to Tim to get an update, in which he responded the gutter person got tied up with his children and would be out the next day, again. The following day a DIFFERENT person showed up to complete the job. We still had to reach out to have the front gutter corrected. That took another 2 weeks. When we finally got someone out to look at the gutter and correct it, it was again a different person. The last issue with the gutters is the hinges on the downspouts. The downspout that goes into our yard and has to be lifted when the yard is mowed did not get a hinge. It had on prior. The downspout that goes under the deck, onto rocks that has no reason to be moved had a hinge. When we questioned this, the production manager Craig, said they only put them on ones that make sense to have them. I am confused as to why the downspout that drains into the yard and is in the grass needing to be moved doesn’t make sense to have a downspout, yet the one that is in the rocks and does not interfere with mowing made sense? This whole time, we had to reach out to Tim to figure out when someone was coming out. He had no idea if they had been out or not, and assumed that someone had been out. I feel as a company using sub-contractors you would feel responsible/like to know when and where your crews are, and knowing when tasks have been completed. I also was shocked to see the lack of communication from the beginning of this process to the end. Our roof and gutters were started in the Middle of July and was just completed last Friday(August 7). We chose D&M over another well known roofing company because of the reviews. The communication issues alone are the biggest issue. The work has been completed and we are glad to have it done, and be able to move forward from this.

We recently had D&M replace our siding. We worked with Jordon and he was always professional and very responsive to our questions. The installers also were very professional and did a great job with all the details. Our house came out great!

My roof was damaged during the great Omaha Midtown Hailstorm of 2017. D&M Roofing did a wonderful job of replacing my roof. The owner, Eric Oberembt, walked me through the entire process from start to finish - how to choose the material, how to work with the insurance company - and had a representative there during the initial inspection to make sure I was treated fairly by the adjuster. His workers did a wonderful job, they were clean and courteous, and got the work done in a timely and highly competent manner. I highly recommend this company.
