Horrible contactors to check you house. They will quote the lowest for the insurance company and will offer poor quality repair with liquid vinyl vs having the siding fully replaced. Beware as they work hand in hand with the cooperators insurance to screw the homeowners. Don't trust this company or the cooperators insurance company.

I used Rocky Cross after a significant house flood just over 2 years ago. Here are my pros and cons.
The pros:
1. Admin staff communication.
2. The drywall and painting part of the repair work was actually quite good.
The cons:
1. It took 11 months to do the repair. Nearly a year for a repair that amounted to less than $30k.
2. They ruined my wooden staircase (didn’t bother to cover while going up and down in work boots - granted they did pay someone to fix the stairs after MUCH pushing and the repair was excellent)
3. They re-flooded my house during the final clean, and had to come back to replace even more drywall.
4. The finishing carpentry and attention to detail were absolutely awful. (Curtains hung 6” from the ground, random plug-ins put in upside down, no anchors used in anything screwed back into drywall…the list goes on) I’d be embarrassed if this was my quality of work.
5. Communication with the foreman was shockingly bad.
6. Magically, after years of living in the house without having any grout issues in the tile floor, somehow the grout was all coming up between the tiles on non-flood affected floors, after their year of working here and walking around the house in work boots. When brought to their attention I was told “we don’t do tile” and “that’s normal wear and tear. It’s your responsibility to fix.” Just wild timing how that flooring fell apart, I guess.
7. Re-installing all of the trim, without it being painted, still damaged, upside down, etc.
8. Using finishing shortcuts like clear caulking where a cupboard meets the dining room floor, so they didn’t have to fill the gap more appropriately by cutting the floor board correctly.
9. Now, just over a year from the repair being complete, the laminate flooring is coming apart and the shortcuts in flooring are showing (ie. Floorboards sliding and showing 6” gaps, floorboards having 1/2” gaps at edges). Prior to this, through years of home ownership, I didn’t have one issue with a single floorboard. Now it looks like I’ll have to re-do half of my dining room. It’s just shoddy and lazy workmanship.

I’m pretty surprised by all of the 5 star reviews to be honest. I’m not sure how my experience was the complete opposite to so many of these other customers. I would shop around before considering these guys.

Thank you so much for the amazing job you and all the subs you hired to complete our sewer problem. It was very overwhelming knowing that our old sewer line from the street into the house would have to replaced, however our insurance company contacted RCC and within an hr Reg called us and he took over. His experience shone through and he know the perfect people to contact to complete the job. From jack hammering the basement concrete, to running not only a new sewer line but also a new water line, to having a plumber connecting it all, to pouring new concrete, all was done with PERFECTION. Hands down the best construction company I've ever used. The whole team went above and beyond when our basement flooded... Every single person on their team from project lead (Regis), clean up/finance (Judy) and flooring (Trieu) was amazing. They did a stellar job, and they showed up when they said they were going to, and got the work done so quick. It was an obvious call the following year when we had a flood again (city at fault both times). The city's overnight dispatcher was useless, so we called DKI-RCC again and one of their guys (Jason, I think?) saved the day when showed up in smiles, brought us an air purifier and fan, and the whole place was back to normal the next day. They had the job done before other companies even got back to us on a quote!! I've recommended this company to various people since the first flood, and my friends have all had equally positive experiences. This team is truly 5 stars. Thank you, thank you!

RCC DKI Lethbridge has been nothing less than incredible! They are quick, efficient, clean, reasonably priced, and MAN do they know their stuff! Their workmanship and quality of work is top-tier.

Working with them through our insurance and for general contracting has been a dream, and we truly are fans for life. They helped calm all of my worries, and managed my claims with the utmost professionalism and care. They are our only choice now and in the future for anything renovation or remediation.

Big shout out to Regis (the project manager), he always brings big happy energy to the site, is incredibly knowledgeable and has a wonderful team.

Jayme was the person who helped me with smoke damage to my house and she was fantastic! She was extremely knowledgeable of the remediation process, quick to act and had solutions for all of my problems. 10/10 would recommend dealing with her. Thank you Rocky Cross for having such a great team!

Last October I had a burst pipe in my basement. I was about to use my shop vac but the plumber advised I contact my insurance because this was a job for professionals. Thus began my relationship with Rocky Cross Construction. What an amazing company this is. I was stressed to the max until they arrived. Words don’t adequately describe the professionalism of the crew that arrived to assist. Judy deserves special mention. She is a super hero. Professional, competent, extremely hard working and a wonderful kind temperament Judy brought a calm into my home and the sense that I could stop worrying because she had things under control. My basement looks wonderful again and should you have disaster strike I can assure you Rocky Cross Construction will provide you with outstanding assistance. A stellar company!

Water damage to walls fixed by the team at DKI. They made the process seamless, displayed a great deal of know-how and were very responsive. There was a period of silence where I did not hear from the team and did not know what was going on with the work. Hence the four star. However, upon reaching out to Jason for update, work began again and it was smooth sailing till completion. Special shoutout to Rob Palin who was very professional, communicative and knows their stuff with the clean job done in reinstalling the baseboards. For anyone waiting to read about cost, Jason was open in communications and reasonable.

We had a small leak from the ensuite bathroom. There was small hole in copper line causing water damage to the basement bedroom below. The first person I thought to call was Jason at rocky cross! He responded immediately and brought over equipment to help remove the water. He helped ease my mind that this can be easily fixed.he provided me with a plumber he recommends and wow the service from both rocky cross and reives plumbing is incredible. To have plumber fix same day called and heavy duty equipment dry out moisture so that don't have to re do the drywall. Saving us money!Jason at rocky cross went above and beyond helping us through this. The staff is also extremely friendly! Highly recommend them. Thanks RCC for everything

The fine people of RCC were nothing short of rock stars in our families time of need. We had an unexpected water feature in our home which cause a considerable amount of damage. Jason, Jayme, and their team were absolutely amazing, courteous, friendly, knowledgeable, and above all incredibly helpful! They were very quick to jump in and help and make sure that we were taken care of to the best of their abilities. If you are ever in the same situation don’t even bother with anyone else. Call Rocky cross construction first and save the hassle of having to deal with companies that treat you like a pay cheque. True rock stars 10/10, I would work with them again in a heart beat although I hope I don’t have to.

We had an attic that needed cleaning and new insulation due to some unwanted visitors last summer. Jayme was quick to respond to the call to investigate and within a couple of weeks, a crew came out to take care of the attic.
Rob & Conner were very efficient and thorough. They explained what they found and told me exactly what was cleaned up. They also took great care in keeping our master bedroom clean while blowing in new insulation. I was impressed by their level of professionalism, their attention to detail and the timeliness in which the job was completed. I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone who requires restoration after racoons or any other issue.

I had a flood at my home and had called a different company at first. After many delays at the first company we brought in RCC. They are fantastic! Jason was jumped into action and I had lots of workers coming to my aid. He kept in touch with me and answered all my questions. They're awesome and I highly recommend calling them first, I know I will next time!

Jason has proven to me that he is a man of integrity and honesty. I had a rough misfire because of McRay, who will get his own special review on his new employers page.
Although it was a rough experience dealing with McRay, Jason has jumped leaps and bounds to make up for it.
I have never come across any business who would come back a year later to make amends (especially for a workers disgrace) But here I am sitting on my new and beautifully improved decks. Yes decks! Jason, the workmanship is top quality, and your workers are phenomenal! I may hear the blissful sounds of saws, but never a complaint from them. They work so hard in this heat, I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate all of you.

We live in BC so when I got the call that our rental basement had flooded, I was a bit panicked...Ok a lot panicked!! Lucky for me, our insurance company called Rocky Cross, and they started taking care of me right away. From not charging for everything that they could have to proactively spraying the house with an antimicrobial agent, Jason and his team came through. Jason was always responsive to my calls and went above and beyond what he needed to do to make sure I was happy. Thanks, Jason!!!

I had Rocky Cross do the shingles on a rental property after a wind storm. I subsequently sold the house and the new owner had some concerns about the roof. I was happy with the initial installation, but let Rocky Cross know about the concerns. They bent over backwards to make sure things were taken care of and the situation was resolved. OK. I had a bad flood in my basement. The first contractor was not adequate so I reached out to McCrae at RCC. Within 24 hours my door never quit swinging open and closed. He had people here steady doing my restoration. It was quick and professionally done. McCrae is an EXCELLENT PM. I work out of town so McCrae and his people had the run of my home. I never had ONE concern. For anyone who faces a restoration issue don't even bother shopping around. Just call McCrae I'd give him and his team higher than a Five Star if I could. Thanks McCrae

RCC helped us after an unfortunate dishwasher incident that resulted in a full kitchen reno and basement repair. Once we made the claim,things got started immediately. They are very responsive with communication and answering our million questions. They made a really crummy situation much easier to handle. RCC DKI completely reconstructed my home following a house fire and did a great job. They pushed through some difficult condition in the winter and genuinely cared about the work they were doing for my family. The house looks great! What a great team to work with. Within an hour of calling the insurance company, RCC was at my door to clean up after a sewer back-up. Most impressed with McRae’s management of the project and the people he brings on to do the work. They were always on time and were there when they said they would be. Often even early and sitting waiting in their vehicles until the agreed upon time. I would recommend RCC any time. Thanks for making a stressful time much more manageable!

Our basement bathroom backed up into our two bedrooms. Rcc did a great job, and any problems we had, they came back to fix as soon as possible. Very happy with the bathrooms and bedrooms now. Their carpenter Dean does a great job, and really takes pride in his work. McRae Fisher was over the whole project. He was very professional, and always made sure things were done correctly, and kept in touch making sure that we were happy with each step.

Our sump pump failed, and within a couple of hours their team was already on site. The service was exceptional and our project manager Mcrae made what started out as a pretty stressful experience into a an easy and timely fix.

We had a water leak from the fridge ice maker at our recreational property at Castle Mountain resort. Considerable damage was done to the finished basement below and to the main floor hardwood. Our insurer immediately put us in contact with project manager McRae Fisher, arrived quickly with a restoration team and immediately began the restoration in order to avoid issues with mold etc. The remediation and initial clean up was done in a few stages and each time they left they thoroughly cleaned and organized. This was complicated given our remote location quite a distance from Lethbridge, but they excelled. Then we scheduled our restoration which included rebuilding walls, ceilings and carpet in the basement and a complete replacement of the solid hard wood flooring on the main floor. McRae did an excellent job in managing the project, especially good because we the owners lived in Calgary. Final work was done to high quality and as specified with no change orders. I would highly recommend utilizing them for disaster remediation as well as general contracting for renovation projects.

We flooded the main level and basement in our brand new house. Rocky Cross was onsite first thing in the morning to get started. McRae Fisher was the project manager and was fabulous. All the staff were friendly and weren't afraid of working hard including overtime. I've dealt with similar company's in the past and they don't compare to RCC. Thank you McRae and RCC for making our disaster situation as livable as possible.

Our basement had flooded this summer and rocky cross construction had refinished our basement. I am very happy with the quality of work completed. I was also very happy with the excellent communication during the project.

Jason (owner), McRae (Project Manager), and the entire staff of RCC that were involved in the demolition and reconstruction of our home were caring, patient, understanding, and professional throughout the process. Our home sustained significant water damage and they were there from beginning to end with a desire to complete the project to our satisfaction. We can't say enough great things about Rocky Cross Construction. Our Business had a large water heater blow up stairs over night and pretty much wipe out the offices and show room of our business. I called Jason Daniels on a Saturday morning and he sent over a team of people with minutes to help us contain the damage and start a clean up. They had us back up and running within days. Very friendly and hard working staff that take pride in what they do. Our offices and show room turned out great after the renovations. Thanks again for all the help in a bad situation :)

After our fridge had leaked and damaged our kitchen floor and basement ceiling, Jason at RCC was at our house within an hour to start prepping for the renovations. His team were all incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. They never hesitated to answer any questions I had and happily answered them no matter what they were. We had a main floor flood which resulted in water damage on the main and basement levels. RCC managed the initial cleanup and reconstruction. They were professional and courteous and very responsive to our needs. McRae did a good job handling the project, it proceeded on a predictable and timely fashion. They were very professional from start to finish. McRae handled everything in a timely fashion and even went above and beyond when a sub contractor didn't do the job properly. Dean was also great and made sure everything got done. Would recommend them anytime.

RCC took care of both the demo and rebuild of our main floor after a fire, as well as the restoration of the whole house because of smoke damage. They called, emailed, and texted us updates constantly keeping us in the loop during the process. After the fire we were devastated. They supported us from beginning to end, making it much less stressful and as smooth as could be expected. Their staff were all amazing, going above and beyond to accommodate us the whole time. There were fumbles along the way as there are with many projects this size, but they were all handled so well that we barely noticed. We would recommend this company happily to any who need their type of services.

After an unfortunate accident at our condominium causing100% smoke damage,the insurance company introduced us to the restoration company "ROCKY CROSS CONSTRUCTION " in particular McRae Fisher, the company representative. The removal of all damaged furniture, appliances, drywall with a full kitchen cabinets, the complete repair / restoration took approximately 3 months,dealing with a number of trades, drywallers, painters, carpenters, flooring & kitchen cabinets, we would like thank McRae Fisher and his staff for there professional approach in the completion of this workload in a timely manner. McRae Fisher helped us replace our garage doors after an unfortunate mishap. We encountered nothing but professional, quick, and courteous service. Ok I was worried I had an insurance claim before and the restoration company started out strong and then everything fell apart. So I was worrie about another construction company. But I have to say I was very impressed McRae Fisher did everything he said he would do. He kept me informed, even when things did not go 100% right he kept me informed and did and excellent job. I would highly recommend RCC for any restoration projects. McRae and his team were professional and repaired the flood damage in my rental property in a timely fashion. McRae was responsive to any questions or concerns I had. He made sure things got done.

Over the years I've had RCC do a couple things around the house I knew were above my level of expertise and they are always friendly, helpful and completed the job above my level of expectation and within budget.
