Distinctive Stucco

Joshua and his team just completed work on our home. The original stucco was removed and replaced using better materials and process. The work was outstanding!

We spent nearly $200,000 with Josh for an exterior remodel. Over two years later it’s still not done. Poor quality finishes, caulking and paint all over our windows which are now ruined. Plus it’s now failing and we have water leaks. He always says he isn’t quitting yet never gets anything done. Time to lawyer up and teach this kid a hard lesson. I was way to patient. I had to pay to redo all my gutters and roof capping he ruined. Limestone base he ruined. He left lights off and broke several. Plus much more. He basically ruined our house

We hired Josh for repairs at our old house and his team did a wonderful job. We hired him for our new house and they did a great job again and even came back to repair damage that had occurred. My only critique would be on responsiveness and scheduling. Overall happy with the work though.

Our house had several chimneys with aging synthetic stucco which was starting to peel away from the underlying structure. Josh visited, explained the situation, and provided an estimate which was cost competitive. We scheduled a date a few weeks out, but they were able to come early based on another job being postponed. Josh called and coordinated a visit in short order and they started work. It took his team 2-3 days to complete the job and during this time they were respectful, reasonably quiet, and professional. The results were great: the chimney's look much better, are color matched to the house, and they even touched up some of the concrete around the top edges.

My only other comment is: this is a very messy job based on the material used, so even with the very careful approach of Josh and his team, we are still dealing with Styrofoam-like pellets which get into grass and plants around the yard.

Distinctive Stucco did a great job restoring/repairing the stucco on the front of our home. We had some cracking and water intrusion and they replaced and repaired the stucco and made it look like new again. Once we were able to get on their schedule, they arrived on time and worked hard for 2 full days to get the job done. We would definitely recommend them to others.

Working with Josh and his team was the most pleasant construction project I have ever been apart of. Our house looks like new and it was a big project (4 weeks) and we were honestly sad to see them leave we consider that crew apart of the family now.

Distinctive Stucco generally did a great job, but once they received final payment they refused to respond to any calls or texts. Trim had fallen off days after install, paint was splashed, and after they filled another contractors dumpster and refused to pay for it they flat out stopped all communication. Very disappointed on how this job was finished off.

Distinctive Stucco just completed a major repair job on our house. Our 20 year old house was completely stucco with some dry stone on the front. Water was leaking behind the dry stone causing serious damage to the framing underneath. There were other problems as well, due to the age of the house and also the fact that materials and procedures have improved over the years. They repaired the damaged wood framing, replaced the dry stone with a new brick product and completely resealed the house before adding a fresh coat of stucco.
Josh and his crew were a pleasure to have working here, especially during this time of "social distancing". The were always reliable and showed up every morning at 8 AM. We were always notified if weather was going to cause a delay. When the project was completed, they made sure everything was clean, neat and back in order to our satisfaction. Our house looks like new and we couldn't be happier! Thanks Josh and crew for being so professional and dependable. You're the best!
