Almost got into an accident because of this horrible stupid driver! Running me off the slow lane into the wall. Didn’t even put on a signal light to switch lanes nor was he in front of me. This truck driver was literally driving right next to me same speed when he just runs me off. I started honking and still proceeds to drive. Truck #4 license plates XSA1TT on the Loop 202 right before E Mckellips RD. I hope this driver gets disciplined because he literally could have cost a life today!

DRR answered my call the first try. They were on time and did a great job working with us through the process. Every step of the way they showed they cared about our property and minimizing interruptions to our life.

I was referred by a trusted friend to work with Tony at DRR. I had a flood a month prior and went with a different restoration company and working with DRR vs them was like night and day. DRR made everything simple. They worked directly with my insurance company and everything go done quickly and efficiently. I'm so grateful for the seamless experience!

After my home was flooded by the upstairs neighbor, we contacted DRR. The experience has been horrible. To start, their office staff, Mayte, attempted to cause drama by making false allegations and legal claims which were quickly shut down simply because she has horrible communication skills. To this date, she has taken no responsibility for her lack of professionalism. DRR chose to keep her on staff and have allowed her to talk poorly of me within the office per the workers, who really are the only good thing about this business, showing the overall unprofessional nature of this company - it’s clearly not limited to a single employee. Afterwards, Eduardo, the owner of DRR whom I have never even spoken to, and an employee chose to walk into my house unannounced to discuss Mayte‘s childish behavior. When I told them I had no clue they even wanted to meet, they said they called me but left no voicemail nor text, so I was in the dark. They blamed the workers for allowing them in, again showing how unprofessional they are. A random man walking into a woman’s home is every woman’s nightmare. Then, DRR inflated their bill significantly which had to be negotiated back down to their initial estimate, further delaying the repairs to my home.

Ultimately, if you’re a woman, care about your wife or girlfriend, or want expedited work, I’d call anyone else.

UPDATE: I’ve attached screenshots showing how there was no communication issues when I scheduled the demo, but when I was unaware that I needed to be available for consecutive days, Mayte chose to claim the company would charge for their poor communication and then would not allow me to schedule as she had done previously. Eduardo agreed she handled this unprofessionally and it was supposed to have been handled internally a month ago when he violated my personal space. Lastly, it doesn’t matter if I own the home as this is a review on DRR and does affect homeowners and landlords. I don’t think they like to deal with upset tenants, and DRR really needs to stop blaming everything on insurance. It’s their shoddy internal policies that Eduardo refuses to review that causes these extreme delays.

It’s sad when a business gets defensive like you do, it shows your inability to take responsibility. Your mother should be embarrassed by you.

Their estimator saved me several thousand dollars and I am grateful that there is such a stellar company when I have a need again for disaster recovery.

This morning upon arriving to our project we had water on about 50% of our new lobby floor and wet carpet in the entry corridor. My first call was to Disaster Recovery Restoration. They responded within the hour starting mitigation measures. The standing water was promptly cleaned up, opened the common wall and fans in place drying everything within 90 minutes. DRR focuses on only the scope needed with expert experience and equipment, from traditional disaster needs to the out of the ordinary. My personal favorite is their document recovery services!

I don’t wish a home water leak disaster on anybody but if it does happen to you, DRR should be your first call. Brad’s team was at our house within a couple of hours on a weekend and worked nonstop to mitigate the damage. And that was just the start. Brad’s communication with us as homeowners out of state was timely and effective. He worked with us and our insurance as we navigated the claim adventure. They recommended a good professional reconstruction company (Lightning Construction) and coordinated the next steps from pack out to pack back to post construction cleaning. Brad’s first communication with us included, “We’ll be with you throughout this process,” and they were. I had hoped to never need their services again only to experience a different type of disaster (biological) even before our home restoration was completed. DRR’s biohazard mitigation team was on the scene the next day and provided the same quality service and assistance we were expecting. Am I ready for another water disaster? No! But if I do ever experience another home disaster, I have the DRR number on speed dial.
