Our back yard deck was 33 years old and in need of major repairs. Decker Exteriors came to our rescue and rebuilt 90% of our deck, brought it up to code, incorporated some improvements that we wanted and replaced some damaged siding. They also handled the county permit process for us. They did a great job for a very reasonable price and we love the new deck! The crew is full of very experienced carpenters that really know how to produce high quality work per the new code requirements. We highly recommend Decker Exteriors!

The work that Decker Exteriors successfully completed for us included the demolition of an old deck, the construction of a new wood deck and screened-in-porch with shed roof in accordance with county code. In addition, we had Decker Exteriors replace the vinyl siding and old gutters with Hardie plank, a fresh coat of paint and new gutters and down spouts. Our project took approximately six weeks, after the building permit was pulled. Ernie and his crews were experienced, polite, answered questions and made helpful suggestions throughout the process. Phone calls and text messages were responded to within 24 hours. The costs were fair, reasonable and within current market prices. The cost estimates/proposals were detailed and resulted in minimal change orders for unforeseen circumstances. I would highly recommend Decker Exteriors for any remodeling, demolition, construction and painting for your home.

We hired Decker Exteriors to replace existing cedar siding with new hardie siding, paint, demo and rebuild a new back deck, new gutters and build a new privacy fence. Ernie was responsive with any questions and the quality of work turned out fantastic. We couldn’t be happier with the way our home looks now. We are planning to use Decker on future home renovations and look forward to working with them again. Would 100% recommend!

Decker Exteriors did a good job with the actual work. They arrived on time and solved problems quickly. However, there were several things left unfinished such as an uncovered vent on the side of the chimney, large gaps that led directly into the basement, and some boards that weren't nailed properly. I have been working for 3 months to get them to make right on their labor warranty and they promise it will be done that week but never follow up. I have contacted them a dozen times and will likely have to finish these tasks myself.

Update: Decker Exteriors came out and resolved these issues

I met with someone on June 6 about doing some work on my home. Person was responsive and showed up on time. He told me he would have a quote to me in a couple days. It's been over a week now and I still haven't heard back. I followed up on Monday, June 12, and was told a quote would be given to me Tuesday, and still nothing. I am confused as to what happened. Seems like a nice person, maybe the company is just very busy now, but I feel like I've been ghosted.

Decker Exteriors recently remodeled our kitchen and created a screen porch for us. Ernie and his crew were excellent. His pricing was competitive and the quality was superb. We would highly recommend Decker Exteriors for all jobs large or small

Just had my 25 year old deck replaced and upgraded by Decker Exteriors! The team was on time and courteous, answered any questions I had, and literally "made hay" while the sun shined. In spite of our rainy Georgia spring, my deck was completed within a week, Waiting until I can stain it to post any pictures, but I am pleased with all the work Decker Exteriors put into my project.

I recently used this company to initial replacing the siding on my entire chimney and certain areas around my home. When removing the old siding the contracted workers were just going to place the new siding on top of rotted wood. I had to stop them and tell them to replace the wood as well, which in all honesty should be a given. After replacing the necessary wood around the chimney the job was completed and everything appeared fine. The work appear good, and he was paid for his service. I then proceeded to use Decker Exterior to replace the gutters on my home also. When we just started having all of this heavy rain for approximately two weeks, I found that the down spout on one of the gutters wasn't redirected properly when they finished the job and the water began to over flow down my wall, and my basement started to have water come in. When I asked Decker Exteriors about the issue and why the elbow to the downspout wasn't place back on the when the job was completed, I was given every excuse in the book except accountability.
Also I recently started noticing a leak in my living room in the area of the chimney. When trying to get Decker Exteriors to fix the error is has become a hassle.

I do not recommend using this company at all because the owner does not thoroughly check behind the work of his contractors that he hires to complete the jobs. I always choose to support local small business, but I think this past experience will now change my feelings about that.
And they will not come out to fix an error. I have filed my complaints with the Better Business Bureau, and will not refer this company to anyone in my neighborhood.

This is by far the best experience I've had with contractor. There were some delay in scheduling which is expected considering everyone is getting work done on their house, also the rain didn't help. But once I was scheduled, the work was detailed, meticulous and the painters were courteous, polite.
Ernie was nice, understanding and very patient as it took me forever to pick my paint color.
I would definitely use Ernie's crew again for future renovation needs.

I normally do not take the time to write reviews. In fact, I created an account in order to leave this business and crew a 5-star review. From the beginning, during the quoting stage, Ernie was patient in answering my questions and informing me how he and his crew could get the details completed to satisfy what I had imagined for my backyard deck. My house came with a 10x14 high deck with no stairs to the backyard. The crew completed demolition of the old deck and construction of a new deck in three very hot sunny days, which included a new set of stairs and landing! They added minor details, which I was unaware were included such as a handrail for the stairs, which is great for my elderly mother who I take care of. Looking at the decks around the neighborhood, I can say it is the best looking and built. The crew were highly polite and courteous. Words are not enough to convey how hard-working and committed they all were in building our deck to our satisfaction. In fact, the city inspector came after the deck’s completion for a final review and told us the deck was rock solid and would likely outlast the house! These guys and their work done is worth every penny! I hired them to do my gutters next and I anticipate a similar job well-done. Thank you for honest great work!

Very affordable price for a complete roofing job, correcting a horrible job of a number of years ago by bad roofer. Very professional, did everything to code, and got the whole job done in record time. It rained the next day and it was wonderful to experience no leaks! I cannot say enough great things about Ernie and his crew--Thank you so much!

If I could give this company 10 stars I would. From beginning to end Decker Exteriors staff rebuilt not one but three decks. They did a excellent job. I got estimates from 4 other companies and went to see their work, however once I saw Decker Exteriors work I knew this was the company for me. (VERY HAPPY CUSTOMER )

Decker Exterier just replaced all the windows in our home! It was a smooth and easy process getting everything set up and ordered!
