I had not lived in the house since 1996 and been living out of the area for the last 20 years. You can’t imagine how bad of shape the roof was. It took 12 sheets of plywood to repair the roof and I thought it would take a minimum of two days to complete the job. They were finished in one day. The workmanship more that met my expectations. There was no wasted time as Derrick's crew of six worked this job. They knew their duties and began work as soon as they alighted from their truck. There were no problems at all. Best roofing company! Derrick is amazing!!!!! We purchased a 20 year old home in April which was in need of a new roof. We were literally prepared to pay 25K out of pocket until we met Derrick. The general inspector said we needed a roof ASAP. We reached out to Derrick to do a roof inspection and he convinced us that we could wait a year and likely could get a new roof through insurance. We were a little uncertain it would happen that simple, but 6 months later due to wind/storm damage we have a brand new roof through insurance. Checking Roofing did a great job from start to finish! We were “bombarded” by tons of roofing companies the past months for business, but Derrick made it easy to stick with him being consistent from day 1 with doing spot checks, patch ups, and checking on us throughout since moving in. The process from claim submission to a new roof was quicker than I could have ever imagined. With sales people, you’re always apprehensive of whether or not they’ll stick around once the sale is made, but Derrick didn’t disappoint. Even though down payment monies had been paid, I had buyer’s regret after choosing a roof color and worried I had made the wrong decision. He gladly drove me around the neighborhood showing me other rooftops, so this helped calm my worries. On the day of installation, he was there when I got home from work ensuring the last of the nails were picked up and disposed of. I appreciated that he didn’t disappear once he secured the sale, but rather, he saw the project through to completion. I would definitely recommend Check Roofing if someone is in need of a new roof.

Wow. What an easy and stress-free process it was to work with Derrick and Check Roofing! We had storm damage from a few months back but were hesitant that we would qualify for a replacement. Thankfully, a family member recommended Derrick to us. We called him and he stated that he would come out and give a free consultation (Same Day!). Not only was he prompt and professional, he also walked us through the damage he found via photos and helped us prepare our paperwork for an insurance claim.

Derrick’s team of guys were wonderful as well. They were here right at 7am and done by 3:30. Full cleanup and magnetic sweep for nails before they left. Derrick came out and checked it over with us once complete to ensure we were happy. He even did another magnetic sweep for nails after his crew left to make sure none were missed that may damage our tires or pets feet!
