We used Deck It to replace our existing deck. Each team member was very knowledgeable and responsive. They made sure that we were completely satisfied with the end result. You can trust them to build your deck the right way. We would highly recommend them for any deck project.

From the very start, they were responsive, and extremely helpful. Matt in sales was great, then onto Glenn with permits. They all made the planning and getting started process easy and quick. Then, Jeff was the crew leader and he was amazing. Explained step by step what was happening, his crew worked around the clock, and finished the deck within 3 days. No matter what I needed, Jeff always had an answer, and helped. There was a small problem at the very end with a sewer line, and Jeff had a crew over to my house within an hour to begin fixing the problem. Couldn’t be happier. The deck is beautiful! If you want people who are friendly, responsive, and pay attention to details, hire this company.

From beginning to end, working with Deck It was an amazing experience. George was on time for my consultation and provided a detailed quote that was competitive.

Once I decided to go with them as my contractor, Glenn was the next person to reach out to discuss next steps and come up with a more detailed description of my project along with some visuals which was great. They were able to send this over to me for me to see and approve. Before I knew it, they were able to pull the permit and set the date for the crew to come out.

Brandon was assigned as my project manager as was also very responsive and answered all my questions. David and his crew were amazing! They were able to tear down my old deck and build a new one in 4 days even working through some rain. The quality of the deck is great and the guys cleaned up everything afterwards.

Everyone was great from start to finish, communication was amazing and they really care about the quality of their work and customer. I would definitely recommend them!

George came out when we began shopping around for a company to build a deck in our backyard. We ended up going in another direction, but the project was unable to be completed. Really pleased with our new porch! Deck It is a really well-run business that made our home addition a collaborative and positive experience. Our project manager was Brandon was a strong communicator and easily accessible. Day-to-day we had the pleasure of getting to know our primary builder Ney; I say pleasure because it truly was that. Ney worked long hours and weekends, taking great pride in the quality of his work. Additionally, he was always great with my toddler that loved to greet him and show him his own set of toy tools. This was a very unforgiving winter, yet each day the staff of Deck It continued their work under difficult conditions to provide my family with a porch we can be very proud of. Would absolutely recommend without reservations.

We had a great experience with Deck It. They are very organized and the entire process was clear, smooth, and went off without a hitch. They opened the office on an off day just for us so we could review and select the materials, colors, etc. that worked best for our deck replacement. They attended the town’s historical commission meeting with us to ensure that the town approved the design, and they worked with us on minor design decisions that needed to be made during the course of the build. They started and finished when they said they would, despite two separate snowstorms, and their workers braved the elements and built a beautiful deck that was somehow completed on schedule. I have wanted a deck on the back of my house since the day I bought it. My house is 145 years old and situated very uniquely on a very Steep ledge. There is approximately a 20+ foot drop from the back of my living room where I wanted this deck. I had many companies come out and I knew they didn’t want to take on this project. I called Deck It because they had great reviews. It was the best call I ever made. I have never had such a positive experience with a contractor in my life. The entire team was friendly, professional, and courteous and from the moment George from the sales team came out to my house and jeff the project manager reached out to me, then Tico , JuJu, and Fernando the installation team arrived and Nate and PJ on site ; the process was flawless. The installation team was amazing.This team built my dream deck 20+ feet off the ground in the dead of winter; in the snow, rain, and wind without a hitch. It is a gorgeous deck, and if I could give more than five stars I would.

We needed a deck replacement and the entire Deck It team was incredibly professional and helpful. From choosing materials to approving plans through to final inspection, we were appropriately consulted and updated. Highly recommend them to anyone.

I am only reviewing based on my consult not their work specifically, but I did not have a good experience. The person that came to our home seemed concerned only with what our budget was. We communicated the deck plan we wished to have constructed pretty clearly I believe and measurements were taken. Then he sent me a quote and plan that was nothing like what we asked for and when I notified him that this is not what we wanted, again the first thing he said was " I need to know your budget." Why? so you can price gouge me, you should not need to know this to provide me a quote for a project I am asking for. We had Brittivia come out as well to give a quote and not once did they ask what our budget was, they provided a plan and quote for what we asked for.

Deck it constructed our new deck and they were absolutely awesome! Very professional and great at communicating, keeping us informed throughout the process! They took care of all the required permits/planning efficiently and completed the project to our satisfaction. Highly recommend deck it!

After receiving 3 quotes from local deck installers and not being impressed with professional responses. I contacted DECK IT for an additional quote. Glad I did! Within a few days the sales team folks were on site to review my project and make helpful suggestions i.e. "Helical piles vs concrete footings". Once the plans were generated, reviewed and my questions answered, my contract was agreed to, and my project was scheduled. A few weeks later with permits in hand the install team of Ney, his assistant Lukas and the Helical pile installer arrived, and my project got underway! I have to tell you folks Ney and Lukas are the team to have on your project!! Thier deck building acumen and attention to details are to say the least amazing! You have to see it for yourself to believe it and trust me when I say it!! I've delt with contractors while building a home a few years back and these two are few and very far between! 1st the deck was "perfectly level and plumb. I know... I checked! Additionally, I went with the picture frame deck and stairs and every 45-degree cut was perfect! Every deck board space was straight and equal.

Deck It recently completed building my 16'x16' deck and 6'x6' back stairs. The entire customer experience was fantastic. The pre-sales experience (George Holt) was great. No pressure. Informative. He really listened to our needs (e.g., cocktail rail, ADA hand rail). The contract and deposit transactions were smooth and easy. The project manger (Jeff Hamelin) was excellent. He was always available to answer questions, handle our changes, and keep us informed. But, best of all, the work crew was amazing. Always polite. Tidied up at end of each day. Incredibly hard working. The final day they worked from 7am to 8:45 pm so they could finish job. You can't go wrong with Deck It.

WE ARE SO HAPPY!! BEST experience with a contractor in a LONG time! Low key sales, unbelievably hard working crew (who left our property immaculate at the end of every work day), excellent communication throughout, and quick completion. Deck It did an amazing job replacing our old deck! We spoke with a few companies before moving forward with the project and Deck It was hands down the most professional and best to work with. George came out to take a look at the original deck and talk about the options and what we were looking for. He took the time to make sure the project fit our needs and would be within our budget. They then provided renders of what the new deck would look like and provided transparent pricing if we wanted any upgrades. Our project manager, Brandon kept us updated on the whole process and let us know if there were any changes to the schedule. The builders were incredible, they had the new deck up in way less time than we expected and the quality was top notch! Allyssa then followed up with all the warranty information and made sure the whole process met our expectations.

Deck It was fantastic from start to finish. We quickly received a quote and went into the showroom to view the different color options we had. We set a date for mid-May and our deck was installed 2 months earlier than expected! The deck team was fantastic and we were amazed they were able to do so much in only a few days. The Deckit folks replaced four decks for us as well as the main floor sliding door and basement walkout door.
They replaced the water and pest damaged header above the basement door and insured proper flashing on the new ledger.
We are very happy with the look and structural integrity of the decks. They're much stronger than the originals.
The workers were very professional in their work and they cleaned up the work area at the end of every day.
You could tell these guys were experts at this.

My deck is perfect! Extraordinary team, completed 3 wks before schedule. Master craftsmen, Josh setup plan, Kyle managed the project and Dan was the master carpenter. Answered all my questions, added things I wanted, even setup brackets to hold my bluebird feeder and birdbath. Trex is the only way to update an old deck.

We had a really fantastic experience with Deck-It who built us a brand new Trex deck, replacing our 25 year old wood one which was rotting in several places. From the start, Deck-It was professional and punctual, showing up on time and working with us on a formal design. The turnaround time for first visual draft and final quote were within days of the original consult, and to our surprise they were able to start the project shortly thereafter, completing the entire project in a little over a week. The crew left the site clean after every day and also worked seamlessly with us on several small changes as they arose. We can't recommend Deck-It enough. It's hard to find solid and reliable contractors, so rest assured if you go with them you will be getting top notch work.

There are a lot of options out there for consumers and sometimes it is hard to know who to choose. I had an old deck that was falling apart and I decided I wanted to get a new deck built with Trex decking. A friend of mine referred me to another decking company but ultimately, I decided to go with my gut and I went with Deck It. I truly think I could not have made a better decision.

First off, the consultation and presentation is impressive. Matt was able to provide me a rendering of what my project would look like based off my vision. Having a van filled with samples and different upgrade options also makes the decision process a lot easier when you can see and touch the materials being used.

The end product looks amazing. There is definitely a careful attention to detail that is obvious in their craftsmanship. While the end product was the most important to me, I feel their communication throughout the process is one of their differentiators. I feel like communication for a lot of companies can be an afterthought but not with Deck It. You are provided your own Project Manager who is more than willing to chat with you daily to keep you in the loop on the current status of the job. My Project Manager was Glenn. He was proactive with his updates so I felt part of the process. In addition, when I did reach out with questions, he was incredibly responsive.

Once you come to terms that building a new deck is not exactly the most inexpensive project these days, I would highly recommend you choose Deck It. You get what you pay for.

My wife and I were looking to replace our existing 29 year old P.T. deck. We contacted four deck companies and ended up going with Deck It. Their prompt response, price and confidence in providing us with what we wanted sold the deal. Also their local location to us was an important factor. We met with one of the owners and we were convinced. Instead of replacing our deck as is, Jake showed us some TREX decks they had done and we decided to go with that seeing as they are Certified TREX installers. The crew showed up and displayed professionalism and expertise led by Jeff. They came in at budget and three weeks ahead of schedule. We both would highly recommend this company.

Our deck was damaged this winter from heavy winds. I learned of DeckIt through a friend who used them for his repair and expansion and had them out to assess the issues. After determining a rebuild was necessary, Jake and the team handled everything from start to finish. I just had Deck It complete my back porch project with Trex. I have nothing about positive feedback from the first time reaching out , the estimate, permitting and execution of the project. I just love the use of technology when working with them; the ability to upload my own drawings (vision), receiving the quote and permitting documents electronically and being able to sign/approve securely and quickly online. Submitting the deposit and payments was easy. They also assign a Project Manager to their jobs and they are great. I have worked with Brendan twice now and he is very knowledgable and responsive and sets expectations up front and any questions I may of had I was able to reach him via text and he always responded.

We hired Deck It to construct a deck around an above ground pool and link it to an existing deck via a staircase. It was important that the new deck looked the same as our existing deck, the deck level was flush with the top of the pool, and it had to pass stringent safety requirements (because of the pool). Deck It was extremely communicative, responsive, professional, and made sure we were 100% satisfied with the finished product. We would use Deck It again and recommend without hesitation to others.

We had our existing deck removed and a brand new Trex deck installed this spring. Deck It (ZB Construction) was recommended to us by someone we know in town. The project went very smoothly. Any issues we did point out were addressed immediately and properly. I was concerned about Trex decking after reading online that if it isn't done perfectly it can look wavy. I'm happy to say our deck has no waves in it. It is just gorgeous. I would recommend them to anyone looking for a deck replacement.

My slight knock is the not having a background in deck design or Trex, it would have been nice if they walked me through their experience and potential options to improve the looks in the bid phase. Ultimately the responsibility is mine, but IMO that aspect doesn’t meet their high quality on the rest of the aspects of the process.

We could not be more pleased with our experience with Deck It, a sub-division of ZB Construction. Our 25 year old farmers porch was never built to code and was in need of a complete demolition and reconstruction. After requesting an estimate online I got a call back from the owner within a day, and he was able to come out to our property within days. The estimate was fair, and dare I say generous, compared to other quotes we had received. He not only listened to my wants and needs, but made suggestions based on his expertise, and the final product is not only beautiful but most importantly properly built and finally safe for our family.
