Danny is responsive, honest & communicative. He’s helped me troubleshoot a number of roofing leaks at one of my commercial properties in Hinton, and he has always been thorough to investigate the issues and follow up with me to make sure the repairs were effective. We trust him and greatly appreciate his services, which is why we have called him on numerous occasions to help us out, and he’s always come through. Thank you Danny!

Everything went well until I asked them to double check their work because my water froze again the next day. It's still frozen now. I missed half a day of work yesterday waiting for them to come back and in the end I still haven't got a text back. Price wasn't a problem for me as long as the issue was resolved. It wasn't. So I'm out $580 and have to hire someone else to check their work. I'm disappointed. They were nice guys who initially were very responsive and communicative. Not sure what happened at the end.

They got the job done and price was good. The thing is they were in big hurry I guess. They didn't bring or buy the stuff they needed to replace my lines. Most all it is hanging down. They didn't even have hangers or rt color line. I told them buy what they needed. When I did work years ago I always fixed people stuff like i was working on my own place. I will have to buy hangers and fix it. I would recommend them for the price but make sure you tell them how you want the job done.

D&C handyman services answered and worked with me on scheduling because I work a lot. They came out and stayed on tbe problem until it was fixed. I wil definetly use these guys again

Wish we could give 10 stars… We highly recommend D&C Handyman Services! Danny has serviced our venue several times prior so we knew we could count on him in an emergency situation! We had an event scheduled the following day when our handicap toilet decided to stop working. D&C came to the rescue & didn’t stop until our restroom was up & working like new!

D and C communicates their time schedule and completes work in a professional and timely manner. They are trustworthy and friendly. They listen to your needs and work diligently to do what needs to be done. I had a leaky skylight that damaged my ceiling. They thoroughly examined the issue and made everything look great! I don’t often leave reviews unless I’m really impressed. They really impressed me.

I would highly recommend Danny for anything that needs fixed at your house. Very knowledgeable, great customer service and goes above and beyond!!! Call them before anyone else and do yourself a favor!!

My heating element (dryer) burned out, but everything else worked. I called a couple of places. One said they'll call me back but never did. Danny called me back and came out to the house to make sure the element was the only issue. What he had in stock didn't fit my dryer. He said if I really needed my dryer asap, there is a local place that did have it. However, the cost to me wasn't worth it. Danny gave me the link to order. He was able to install it the day after I called to say the part was delivered. The cost was reasonable. I will use their services again.

I had issues with my home having a terrible smell and these guys came out and inspected my home for potential issues free of charge! They went above and beyond for no cost at all and guys like that are hard to find these days! Would recommend their services.

I am sooo disappointed.. earlier this year I purchased an exterior door from Lowes to be installed with a storm door.. paid for it and the install.. weeks later(not their fault) a kind man came out to measure etc.. the door was delivered the day of the install and upon inspection had black caulk squiggles BETWEEN the panes of glass, couldn't be cleaned..I refused the product and canceled the install because Lowes didn't have a different door available.. a couple weeks ago I called this company to install a ceiling fan for me.. didn't show up and now I know why.. I'm back to getting a door but they are refusing to install because I canceled last summer..I don't feel I should have accepted an inferior product for a600.00 price tag.. and now nobody will talk to me so this is my only recourse.. disappointed and sad

Our toilet wouldn’t flush and for days we waited for a plumber that we had used several times before. The plumber’s son who was now working as the plumber and installer of heat pumps, was filling in for his dad which couldn’t do it anymore and was sick (the dad was the one who always came and did the actual plumbing). Having only one bathroom in the house and 3 people, you kind of need a toilet that flushes. He said he would be there the next day and never showed up. He was call the very next morning and told us that he had to take his dad to Roanoke and said he would call us back in a day or two to let us know when he could come. Waited for about a week and he never called us back. So, anyway our neighbor recommended these guys and they came, they work for several hours, having to crawl under a small crawl space that’s under our house where all the pipes are and even had to take our toilet up to fix it. They charged us only $180.00, which they said others would have charged us around $200.00 or $300.00. Just recently we had them back to fix the doors on our storage building or whatever you want to call it, because they didn’t close right and were shifted. They did an awesome job with that as well as fixing a light that hanging down out of the building’s ceiling and didn’t even charge us for checking out our toilet again, which had started flushing a bit on it’s own. They are nice down to earth people that are hard working (which is a hard thing to find these days). This may be a bit of a lengthy review, but I think it’s pivotal that you get the whole story so you can have all the information you need to determine if they’re right for you and your needs. All in all, I say give the guys a try and you won’t be disappointed. Totally recommend!

These guys work hard and produce results! Very fair pricing/estimates and get to work fast! If you need something done and want fair treatment call them.

Tried to us this service for rental I have a Princeton. Called no answers. Days later got an automated txt asking me if still needed assistance. I responded be and few days later got a call. Made a appointment to come a review the work need for estimate. Took the day off from my day job and drove 2 hrs to make the appointment. No one showed up. No one answered when I called and no answer via txt. That was two days ago. Don't waste your time.

I greatly appreciate the work that was done for me today, and I am satisfied with the outcome. I will definitely use these guys again.

Daniel came to my house the day I contacted him, thought I just needed a shutoff valve for toilet, plus float for toilet. He had to end up going under my small crawlspace to add a newer section of water PCV pipe. He's a big guy and didn't complain. Still kept the job under an hour like he said he would, and price was well worth it. Good people and would definitely use them again.

Had a washing machine that quit working, they looked at it I ordered the parts and they returned had the machine running in no time.
Has followed up to make sure we have no issues.
I will use them again !

Anyone who gives a bad review on this company gets called a liar and is made out to be the one at fault. I have been around construction for 40 years and this is the most unprofessional company I have ever dealt with. The response to my husband’s review was so full of lies it was almost funny. Danny was not on site for more than a couple of hours in total so he was not qualified to comment on some of the issues. Needless to say we would not recommend them.

We were so disappointed. They never started before 10.30 am and sometimes not until afternoon. Often leaving early or not showing at all. We paid up front a lot of the time because they were broke. We gave them lunch and drinks almost every day. The owner, Danny is quite useless and clearly doesnt care for his reputation. Totally unresponsive to texts and calls and never laid a hand on a tool. We asked for rubbish removal as per quote but they left us with it, along with cigarette butts, nails and screws everywhere as well as empty soda bottles. Since they'd been paid up they saw no reason to fulfill their contractual obligations. We are going to have to fix some of the poor workmanship ourselves and pay to get rid of the trash. Not a great experience. They gave their word. Fail!

Danny and Anthony did an amazing job fixing my stove. They had it working in no time I would recommend them for services and will use them for repairs.

Excellent service. On time. This is the second time I've used this company. Very pleased. #2 Called with problem and they were there, fixed the leak to include going for the parts needed. Such a great bunch of guys and very polite. I now have a company that does what it says it will and at a great price. Will use D&C above any other company.

PHENOMENAL experience hiring D&C Handyman Services to perform needed work on my elderly parents home for a great price. Previously, I hired him to install a toilet. His professionalism led to referring his services to my parents. My parents being in their 70's no longer have the ability to clean gutters or power wash their house before winter. Danny, came out the next day!! His work is impeccable. Additionally, he built excellent rapport with my father, who absolutely loved working with Danny. D&C Handyman Services will hear from us again for work! My father is already making a list of items needing maintenence.

This company was quick in their response when we had a hot water tank bust! They came as soon as I called them. I would recommend them for your general reconstruction needs.

I had these guys fix a leak on my roof in March of 2021 and it is still holding good. They also assembled a Pit Boss Pellet Grill for me and did an excelllent job on that as well. I am getting ready to use them for multiple repairs around my house very shortly. They were friendly and professional.

Never on time and did not stay on the job. A 1 week job turned in to almost 4 weeks then it was poor quality and not done correctly. Then they had removed some trim wood tabs on the face board around the porch and did not replace them, tried for over a month to get them to come back to replace and kept getting put off. Had to hire someone else to clean up the mess of a job they did. Would not recommend to anyone.

Since there is no reply to the companies response… let’s be clear.. I did not break any contract. The renegotiated price was done after he already had $1,600 of the money and had not even started any work except repairing a water pipe leak and putting up drywall on the ceiling ( in which he never finished) . He agreed to the new terms, he did not have to agree to the new terms ..that does not give any one any right to half do the job. He could of walked away if the terms did not suit him with monies paid for work done. It would of saved me money and headache.. regardless It still does not account for never showing up until 11 or later..and only working 2 hours and leaving. Does not account for not scraping all paint off and not leaving bare spots on what was suppose to be painted. And does not account for the month of endless excuses for not returning and replacing wood work that was removed. He agreed to a price, he was paid in full, I held up my part of the deal, he was paid in full before the job was even 3/4 of the way completed… that was my mistake of trusting him to complete the job and do it right before giving all the money in full. As far as all the good reviews.. I am glad folk got satisfied and their money worth… but I did not.. and would not recommend to any one

D&C fixed my old dryer that had gone out. It was so easy to communicate with D&C over text. They were on time and had great competitive rates. Danny ordered replacement parts for me well in advance of the repair visit. D&C will be my first call next time I need some repairs done. Spectacular.

I wish I had as much luck as others getting them to do work. Contacted them about a job, we set up a time for a consult, never heard from them. I had to reach out to them again only to be told they couldn't come out. They spoke about the importance of staying in contact with their customers, that sometimes things come up and the can't make it out. But was never going to reach back out to me to let me know this. Never even mentioned rescheduling a consult. Overall, poor experience.

These guys work hard and accurately fix the problem . The plumbing repair was hard to get to and dirty but they didn’t stop until it was done. Very professional and they respond to your call quickly. I would definitely recommend them to Anyone!

Contacted D & C after waiting on plumbing service for weeks. Danny answered right away. They installed my shower faucet which required a lot of work and some pipe replacement. They corrected shut off problems in my basement also. Very courteous, knowledgeable and reasonable prices. Excellent work. I will be calling them again for a list of things. I would recommend them to anyone.

I would love nothing more than to give this service a higher rating, however, we never got the chance to experience their work. I can say, he had someone here fast...but estimates never came after 3 promises. We have someone bidding the job today and am hopeful this works out. Thanks anyway. Good luck to you.

D&C Handyman Services is a totally AWESOME business. When contacting other businesses, D&C was the only one that responded and provided me with a very reasonable quote. Both Danny and Aaron has the knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform any and every task needed. They were courteous and understanding to every request I made. I will most definitely use this company again and again.

Prompt replies to texts. Requested work done to 1 wall, exterior and interior. He asked for pictures, I sent them. I told him, we needed outlets, sheetrock, etc to an existing wall that has two windows and a French door. I also asked him to seal the wall, as this was built last year but not finished. We had a dollar amount in our minds that it should cost, and that it would take a day or two, maybe. But we were shocked with his estimate. It was 3 times the amount expected! Labor Only! And this was 4 men working on 1 wall and he said it would take 3 or 4 days!?!? We were shocked. And quickly we declined . Either he didn't want to do the job or he was looking for easy money. Either way, I find that DISAPPOINTING and DISHONEST. I thought that ppl should know what happened when I contacted them for an estimate from a business that has a 5.0 rating???? Bottom line: $1,400.00 in labor only for 1 wall at 3 or 4 days with a crew of 4 men!!. Unbelievable!! Please use caution with this company.

My reply to their post: yes, you are expensive. Even dropping your price to $1000 is expensive for the little work to be done. We did not need a new wall built. We were shocked after reading the reviews of "cheapest around". That is not true. You are expensive, $1000 for one wall with 4 men at 3 or 4 days. It's unbelievable! The wall is there, we just need it finished, not completely rebuilt! Unbelievable!!!! 1 star rating

These guys are awesome!!! Would them again in a heartbeat. They came did everything I asked them to do and more. If you need someone to do work call these guys.

I really want to do business with this company,but my house has given offer,so I just leave it alone ( need to save money for my moving and my older mobile home),Danny is a good manner, professional worker that you want to work with because he always response to me whenever I need it,I cancel on him twice because we dont have money to do everything.But he still responsive to me when I wanted him to fix my house the second time I asked him. However,I got an offer now. RARELY has any worker would have such a good manner and make you feel good to have somebody around here working in such a good manner in this quiet town.

I contacted D&C after none of the local plumbers would respond, and this was an emergency situation. Water from an unknown source had covered part of our kitchen floor.

Danny came at the end of his work day, located the problem, and came back the next day with a new faucet and food disposal which he installed in record time at an affordable price.

He was polite, respectful, and pleasant with an outstanding work ethic and attitude to match. He will be our go to for future assistance in and around the house. Without a doubt, he is a gem.

These guys came when I was stood up by another plumber. They stayed in communication with me about when was a good time and I would be off work. They are super nice and I liked that they used boot covers for their work boots. They also asked about my preference for masks.
They fixed so much - from toilets to hanging curtains to fixing door knobs. Price was very reasonable. I will continue to use and recommend. Great to work with.

I urgently needed help with repairing my chimney. I wasted 3 weeks calling local contractors and after the third consecutive one was a no show, no call I called Danny at D&C Handyman Services. He was a Godsend. He was quick to respond, knowledgeable and provided help above and beyond his obligations. I am thankful to have them as a resource.

He did call ahead of arrival or called to cancel and reschedule. Very polite and used Covid protocol. Due to complications he had to buy more parts and come back. Completed the job to my satisfaction. I would use his services again.

My husband contacted D&C to install a dishwasher from scratch. They had to cut the cabinet, run wire, and do some plumbing. They did a great job for a very affordable price. They were neat and even cleaned up after themselves when they were finished. I appreciated that they wore masks due to our baby having some health issues. They went above and beyond for customer service!

With only a short amount of time to get our house remodeled before we moved in. D&C did a fantastic job remodeling our entire downstairs floor, repairing the drywall in the bathroom upstairs and fixing the plumbing in the laundry room basement.
