Gerrardo came out after two previous companies said we needed Acid washing for $7000 and $9000! Gerrardo said he thought we would be fine with a regular cleaning done correctly and with spending extra time, the result was our chimney was cleaned and you could see the terra cotta orange flue color! Yes he cost only a little more than the other companies wanted for regular cleaning charge, but we also didn’t need to spend $7-9000 dollars, call this guy before you call anyone else!

This company was amazing. Very professional. They also go out of their way to help and make sure the job is done correctly. I’m happy I actually feel safe starting a fire in my chimney this year! Thank you! Highly recommend!

Gerardo and his team did a great job on my fireplace. They took their time and always explained everything to me. Everyone was very friendly and knowledgeable. I had had a very bad experience with the previous company that was supposed to be doing this job and working with Gerry and his team was like a breath of fresh air. Gerardo is wonderful! He is very easy to talk to, to discuss the job, and get clarification on anything. He’s very easy to work with, and is very accommodating and understanding. He is extremely professional, and cleans up after he’s done. He’s done a few jobs already at my house, and he has more to do, for which I am excited. He’s a very hard worker and takes pride in his work. I recommend him to everyone!

Gerardo and team did excellent work at a fair price. He even offered to clean some rust stains off vinyl siding and do some touch up paint while he had the scaffolding up. Will use him again and recommend him to friends!

I hired DG Masonry to repair my chimney. I was seriously impressed with Gerardo. He is extremely professional and extremely skilled as a mason. I watched him work as he rebuilt the chimney. He takes pride in his work and strives for perfection in doing the job, and does not stop until it is achieved. He was quick in getting here to complete the repair, was fairly priced, and courteous, as was his assistant. I will continue to hire him to do other work I need, and would VERY highly recommend him for any masonry job after witnessing his work. He is a very talented mason!!!!!

Gerardo quickly replaced our chimney chase cover and cap, extended our pellet stove liner to fit the new cap, and helped us find a persistent leak in the chimney flashing. He was extremely professional and courteous, and he kept us updated on every step of the process. He is clearly an expert with many years of experience. His prices were very reasonable compared to what the larger companies charge. We will definitely hire him again for any chimney services we may need in the future!

Gerardo and his team are AMAZING! Also, not just for Chimneys. They have rebuilt my bathroom after a flood, painted several rooms and even done outdoor work and roofing. Everything Gerardo does is done with care. I have never found a contractor more sincerely committed to customer service than Gerardo. He takes all his calls and sticks with schedules. He is just the best.

Gerardo is a mason second to none. He fixed our chimney in the dead cold of the winter last year and on Christmas Day I might add. Will definitely be our go to guy in the future.

I needed my chimney swept just before a snow storm was coming later in the day. After talking to at least 9 different chimney service providers in my area (Dutchess County). I called D&G expecting to hear how they wouldn’t come on such short notice. Gerardo came to service my chimney and not only did he do a great job, but also was very professional, neat and very detailed in the work he did. His price was very reasonable especially for coming on such short notice. I will call D&G every time I need service. I highly recommend them.
