Follow-up review. Before starting the driveway, I asked Chris to give me an estimate to remove an existing stone walkway (that ran around three sides of the house) and pour a new walkway that would connect with the new driveway. The price was beyond reasonable. Chris and Ryan both went above and beyond, they removed literally tons of stone, found a place to dump it as fill, moved excess dirt to various places in my yard for me to utilize for plants, and then they framed, poured, and added a beautiful brush finish to the walkway/driveway combo to best suit the landscape. These guys are outstanding. Their workmanship is second to none, and they left the place clean. The slope of my driveway required figuring out a way to divert water away from the garage and they nailed it. Both of these fine men are true artisans, extremely professional, communicative, and most importantly, NICE! They actually enjoy their work and I actually miss having them around now that the job is complete. Highest recommendation! Chris and his team built this garage for me at the end of last year (2020), the final portion of this job is the driveway, which Chris will complete in the Spring (2021). From site prep, to laying the foundation, from building the frame to roofing and siding, I was extremely impressed with both the workmanship and professionalism of the entire crew. Chris took the time to answer all of my questions (I always have a lot!) and he kept me updating on progress and schedule throughout. May soon be using Chris again to replace a sidewalk and patio. Chris and his crew were remarkable. Chris showed up on time for the estimate and completely explained everything he and his crew were going to do. He made me so very comfortable with the decision to replace my driveway and with his price that I canceled the other two contractors from coming to give estimates. When it was time for the removal and replacement they were on time and very professional. I live on a busy street for a small town and they never kept traffic backed up. The work was top notch and I plan on having them back for other projects. I would definitely recommend CS construction!
