They just fixed our fireplace today. They are super honest and professional. We are so lucky to find them. All others just told us to tear down and then rebuild a new one. They told us it is fixable. If you need 2nd opinion, you can give them a call.

Steve was very experienced professional with affordable option to fix rain leakage between chimney and roof. Although we were told by other chimney that the entire replacement due to crack in chimney blocks, he said it is not needed to replace and can fix with mortar. He saved several thousand dollars.

We moved into a new house recently. On our first day of heavy rain, water started dripping steadily from the plate where our stovepipe meets the ceiling.I did a quick search for folks who work on woodstoves and found craftsman masonry.

I gave them a call, explained the issue, and we set a time for to take a look the next day. After a quick look at the roof, Steve determined the pipe hadn't been put together correctly. They fixed the issue and ran a new bead of caulk, explaining that it should fix the leaking I'm seeing inside, and to give them a call if it persists. When I asked what I owed them, they said there was no charge - I couldn't believe it! I'll certainly be reaching out to Craftsman Masonry in the future!

Steve and his team fixed our lamppost recently. He was prompt in returning my phone calls and emails and worked extra hard to find stone that matched the existing stone. He also came back and replaced the slab on the old twin lamp post to match the new one exactly. Overall, we were super happy with his service.

Steve has been doing masonry work for me and my family for about 30 years! I think my favorite was the outdoor living area, a patio and an amazing fireplace. Cliff

We had the best experience possible with this company. They were quick, clean, knowledgeable and professional. Our chimney was leaking along with other problems that several roofing companies were unable to solve. A.J. assured us that Craftsman Masonry could and would fix the problem. To our delight they did just that. Thank you again you came highly recommended and you leave highly recommended.

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
