Our experience with all of the employees at Cornerstone was nothing but smooth and pleasant. The initial quote was provided quickly, and was in line with what we expected. The demolition was quick, and the team took the old decking away completely and left the worksite clean. The deck re-build was completed on schedule. The team working on our deck, led by Chris, was always happy to answer any questions that we had. And they were all polite and friendly! From the quoting process working with Dominick to the build process working with Chris, we had a very positive experience and would recommend this company to all our friends and neighbors in the Front Royal area.

They did an excellent job repairing some old boards on our deck. They did it quickly and efficiently and ahead of schedule. They also have wonderful communication!

Derek and James were extremely professional and did a fantastic job on my deck repairs. Even though the work was relatively minor, they showed great attention to detail and made sure everything was done to a high standard. I really appreciated their care and professionalism—highly recommended!

We had our old deck redone and the deck boards replaced with Trex and new black iron railing with a drink rail on top. It looks great. Derek and his work partner did a great job and were very accommodating. They aways texted, in advance, when they were on their way and were always on time. We highly recommend Cornerstone Deck Company and their employees. The Sales/Estimator, Dominic McFadden was quick with an estimate and accommodated my changes and kept in touch.

I would recommend Cornerstone. They came out promptly after I called for an estimate, and they actually responded with the estimate on the same day. The estimate was very reasonable!
They got me scheduled pronto, and arrived on schedule. The crew did a really good job, and even worked in the rain. I'm very happy with the end result. Other contractors said they'd respond, and never responded. Cornerstone did exactly what they promised, and they were great to work with!

We could not be happier that we chose Cornerstone Deck Co. to complete our deck project. My wife works at Trex's corporate office and they were recommended as a TrexPro in the area that did excellent work. We both had high expectations and Cornerstone did not disappoint!

The entire process from the initial scoping meetings and discussions with Dominic, deck removal, and building of the new deck was seamless. They replaced 2 decks at our house, one in the back and one on the side, and did the railing, screening, ceiling, and PVC work as well.

The crew that worked on the project included Orlando and Xander. They were both great to work with, they answered every question we had along the way and helped tailor the project to our specific style and requests. My wife wanted to get pictures and videos of the process since she works in the Trex marketing department and they were happy to help with those.

Anyone in the area that wants their deck project done right should contact Cornerstone. We spoke with several other contractors and had to make a decision based on who we thought we could trust the most, and I am glad to say we made the right call.

We just had an old deck replaced with a beautiful new one by Cornerstone Deck Co. From the first meeting through the completion of the project, the team was great to work with and completed our task on time, with good communication throughout.
We had quotes from multiple larger companies and Cornerstone's estimate was very fair, comparatively, for the same products.
The builders cleaned up the job site daily, leaving supplies and tools organized.

Two young fellas from Cornerstone Deck Co. just left my house after working for two weeks to replace a large, very old deck. The new deck is outstanding! It's built using Winchester's own beautiful and rugged Trex Transcend materials.

This is a very well run company. Cornerstone's salesman listened carefully to my expectations and wrote a contract that included the construction start date and a description of exactly what was to be done. The construction commenced promptly on the given date and was completed as promised with great skill and precision. The craftsmen that did the construction were a pleasure to work with and treated our property with care.

I seriously think buyers will want my house just to have this great outdoor living space. Until then I'll be spending good times out here with impressed family and friends.

Our new deck is beautiful! Cornerstone Deck crew did a phenomenal job; they were polite, competent, and knowledgeable. The craftsmanship is wonderful. We recently had our deck replaced. Our old deck was rotting in a couple places. We received a reasonable estimate and within a couple weeks they came and did it. They got it done in one day. They even took the time to replace posts that they noticed were rotted that were supposed to be left. This is our second time using Cornerstone Construction and their work is always the best. We will definitely call them with any future projects.

I had Cornerstone add stairs to my existing deck. The job was done early. Orlando was fantastic with communicating and being here when he said he would. All the guys were so polite. The stairs are so well constructed, and I couldn’t be happier with Cornerstone.

On 7/13/2023, Cornerstone Construction replaced my old deck with a new Trex deck using Tiki Torch Decking and Fascia and Select Railing. The lead for the onsite build was named Chris. Chris was very professional, demonstrating attention to detail, excellent communication skills, respect for personal property and patience with an inquisitive homeowner. And like a real professional can do, he made everything look easy. The deck turned out great! I was so happy with the end result; I did the Rocky Balboa dance at the top of the steps when the deck was completed. I definitely recommend Cornerstone Construction and will use them again in the future.

After several quotes from different local businesses, my wife and I went with Cornerstone for our deck replacement. I found their pricing more than fair, their scheduling reasonable, and most of all, their service outstanding. The build team was professional, and fast. The quality of work was far superior to the original deck. Included in the deck rebuild, they also re-installed the ceiling fan we had under it, and the lawn lighting, all of which they re-wired and rerouted in a much better configuration than we had before. I would highly recommend their services to anyone looking for deck work whether it be lumber or composite.

My existing deck was deteriorating, soft spots and rotten boards. I
Cornerstome removed my old decking and replaced it with new coposite material and added railings and new stairs. Looks great. The construction crew was professional, on-time. and left the site in a neat each day. I was told about a small problem (missing parts for handrail) when they would return and finish. Took 3 working days to complete.

Cornerstone Deck came out for an estimate within a couple of days of inquiring about their process, turned around a quote for all the work very quickly, had materials delivered on-site and then knocked out a fast installation of our elevated deck. Would use them again in a heartbeat, and highly recommend them to anyone!
