I had a negative experience with a different contractor, and asked Rene for a quote to clean up and finish a job building a new retaining wall for a driveway and installing a privacy fence. Not only was the job done in 7 days, they actually did more work than they had originally quoted. Rene's crew was professional, hard working, and cleaned up the job site when they were done. He was very responsive, thorough, and his team went the extra mile to get the job done right. He does excellent quality work for a very fair price. Referred to be me by a friend. Responded immediately and gave me a very fair price that didn’t require haggling. He had his men out to cut down a 70 ft tree, complex, close to the house within a day! Clean up was excellent. I plan on using them again for home renovations. I highly recommend.

My wife and I needed a wall installed to seal off our washer/dryer to make in impromptu laundry closet on our new house after construction was completed. Mauricio and his team we're punctual and worked very, very fast. They matched our paint color and the work was done before we knew it. They even did some paint touch ups on adjacent walls without us asking. Would reccommend for any home improvement projects.

Rene and his team have done lots of kinda of work for me and it is always top notch and always very competitively priced. I bought a house and they refinished my floors BEAUTIFULLY and painted the entire interior. They have also done a really great job on lawn maintenance work. I recommend them for any jobs you may have around your house. They are also extremely reliable and often quite fast.

We had a tricky bathroom renovation—removing a chimney and adding a bathtub. Not only did Rene and his crew do an incredible job of this, they also made the rest of the room look gorgeous with great tilework, new fixtures, lights, etc., etc. We bumped into some issues (subfloor was shot, electrical needed work, baseboard tile ran out) and Rene was quick to solve everything. So happy with how everything turned out. Already dreaming up new projects for Rene and his team!

Rene and his team are the hardest workers you're ever gonna meet. They're punctual, so great work and go above and beyond to make sure the job is done right. Rene has great ideas and understood the modern style we were going for. He did everything from exterior brick repairs, refurbishing our fireplace, replacing windows and doors, some roof work and landscaping. 5/5 will continue to work with him.

Rene did great work on two major jobs. Building a large deck on a hill and winterizing/renovating a crummy 3-season porch. Seems that Rene and his guys can do just about anything. And they are respectful and actually a pleasure to have around.

Even during the intense summer heat wave, his team worked long full days and a full team of 10 men were there for the final day of repaving and smoothing out the asphalt. Rene of Mauricio's is honest, shows up when he says he will and sticks to his quote. We asked him to quote repointing or stuccoing our brick foundation and he recommended we add an improved waterproofing and drainage system while we had the foundation exposed. Rene manages his team well and brings the right crew for the job: we had masons when they were needed, and general laborers when they were needed. We will hire them again for future projects. I can't recommend Mauricio and his crew strongly enough. The work is top quality, done quickly and at the quoted reasonable price. We had a new deck built on the back of our house and we also had Mauricio and his crew install a new ceiling on our front porch and strip off the old paint and repaint it. Rene and his crew recently safely took 3 large trees down at our house. They did an amazing job! They put the wood in a neat row right where I asked them to and left the yard spotless. Their fee was very reasonable. I will definitely use them again if I have additional tree work and highly recommend them.

Rene and his team renovated our kitchen in the three weeks between our closing and when we needed to move in, AND he did it at a time when we were told by other contractors that we wouldn’t be able to find anyone to do the work right away! And it wasn’t that he didn’t have other work - the guy is busy. He’s doing a gut renovation on one house and has several other projects going on around town. He also made some creative suggestions that we liked, like installing under-cabinet lighting and doing the kitchen in two-tone. I will be calling him again soon when I combine two rooms on the first floor and replace the wall to wall carpet with hard wood floors.

Rene and his team were wonderful! We had some flooding in our finished basement and they came in and completely replaced the floors and did partial drywall replacement. The basement looks better now than it did before the flooding. Rene was super responsive and so helpful when we needed a move up our completion date. They finished early and right on budget - no surprise costs. I couldn't be happier with their work and team. We will try to use them first for all future home improvement projects and have already recommended them to a close friend.

I use Mauricios for commercial and residential jobs. Rene and his team work hard, are very clean and do not leave until the job is perfectly done. He recently installed all our wood flooring and repaired the cracked plaster ceilings and walls in our 1860’s home. Old homes are tricky, but he understands them very well!!

Rene is the best contractor I have ever used. His work is exceptional, he is reliable and trustworthy. 3 very important things when I hire someone to do work on my home. He ‘does it all’ and does it professionally. His standards are very high for the work he does. He has replaced windows, doors, prepped and painted the house with many rotting areas, repaired concrete stairs, installed a new driveway including pavers, and installed a French drain for what was a leaky and wet basement. There’s nothing he’s not been able to do for us. I give Rene an A1 rating!
