I had been wrestling with a different company to try to get my roof fixed for months—Mr. Green however replied promptly for my request to help and got the gutter and roof fixed in one week at a very good cost. Cannot thank these folks enough.

Our roof started leaking at the first of September with a big storm before the hurricane. We had four different contractors ghost us after the initial inspection. Two of which were Frasier and MCA roofing. Thank goodness my wife found James' company with good reviews on the Nextdoor app. He is super communicative and he tells you like it is. He even fought for us with our insurance company, unfortunately Allstate is horrible! Highly recommend!

We called Consumer First Roofing early on a Saturday morning after a heavy rain storm- we found there was a hole in our roof. James had someone out within an hour or so. The person who worked on our roof went above and beyond to make sure our roof was no longer leaking. Very professional and the price was extremely reasonable. I highly recommend!

Consumer First Roofing (James Green) is tremendous!

I had a lot of issues that had been ignored for too many years. James' team came out in a timely manner, came back with a reasonable quote for recommended repairs, and then came back to do the repairs as promised. The full job took three people two days.

The team did a professional job on several areas:
- Reseal dozens of windows with building-code approved sealant (ASTM C920 Class 25). This is more expensive than most "caulk" that "handymen" use, but, it is the only good answer for long term care of your home.
- Repair where the metal roof meets the house brick wall by resealing all areas.
- Add flashing where previous contractors had failed to properly install. [Two different kinds of flashing, although I don't really understand the difference.]
- Repair Asphalt shingles and underlayers where previous contractors had inadequately repaired the area earlier.

This job cost more than I anticipated; however, I'm glad that I paid for a professional team to do the full job. I have confidence that these repairs will last as long as the current roof.

James Green was recommended by Henson Lumber; and, although they mainly work in the South Carolina Area, they support the Rutherford County, North Carolina Area.

Finally, I really wanted a contractor that was licensed and insured, and, of course, they are.

My house got hit by lightning right after Christmas and I was referred to Mr. Green by another roofing contractor. I am sure glad I was because I have never met another man that cared more about making sure I was taken care of before. Did everything he said and even more. If I could give 100 stars I would. I'm very thankful to have met this wonderful man!!

I can’t say enough good things about this company. The professionalism was outstanding. The crews arrived in 18*weather and worked till 6pm. Back at 10 am the next day worked till 7:30pm. This was my second time using this company and again the service was great. Helene took shingles off my house and both of my storage buildings. Not a huge job for him, but he was at my house day after I contacted him and repaired within two days.
The work was excellent, price reasonable (no price gouging) and I would recommend without any reservation.

We had a leak, went through our insurance and they only covered a part of the roof. We got an estimate from Consumer Roofing and when the money came in from the insurance company we had another emergency come up and had to delay the repair on the roof. We were finally able to get the major leak fixed a couple months later and James found a match for our shingles after a long hunt. His ambitious worker removed the old roof, fixed our valley and put new shingles on all by himself in two days. No mess to clean up. He took care of it all!!! Highly highly recommend this company for your roofing repairs!!!

I am extremely pleased with the roof replacement provided by Consumer First Roofing. James came out the day I called him to inspect for hail damage. Came back when we had appointment with Ins adjuster. Within 2 days had all the materials, only took 1 1/2 days to replace, hardest working crew I have ever seen. Disposed of all debris, cleanup was immaculate. Reasonable cost and James was a great guy to work with.

I can’t thank James enough for what he did for us. We initially were denied from the insurance company, knowing we had hail damage as previously told by three other roofing companies. We asked other roofing companies to get us some pictures and send a letterhead to the insurance company, stating that there was significant damage. Not only did he do those things, he also met with the adjuster after getting an appeal to take other look at our damage. Long story short, we finally were able to get the claim approved and we we’re compensated for the entire roof cost. Consumer First Roofing does just what its name claims. Once I placed a call inquiring about a quote, the owner, James Green, was super responsive and was out to the house later that day to give us a quote. He was the only one who went up on the roof to inspect the damage for himself instead of taking the insurance company's word. His price was super competitive and the job was completed earlier than the estimated date. The crew that replaced our roof was very polite, hard working, and respectful of our property. They arrived and began work at a decent hour...not at 5:00 am like the company that did my neighbor's roof. My house took 2 days to complete and the crew did a fabulous cleanup after each days work. They left between 5:00 & 5:30 pm each day. That says a lot about how the owner values his employees. Again, the neighbor used a big company and those guys worked from 5:00 am - after 9:00 pm and had to come back the next day to clean up. Our entire property was very clean when the job was complete. I was concerned about roofing material getting into our pool. One of the crew kept his eye on the pool and to my knowledge, not a single thing accidentally fell into the pool. The level of communication from James was top notch. He was quick to text back when we had questions (and we had a lot having never replaced our roof). James is one of those people who just has a good personality and you feel very at ease speaking with him. James was an absolute pleasure to work with.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Consumer First is highly recommended and we will use them again. In fact, we are planning to use them when we add a covered porch on the back of the house next year. You won't be disappointed in Consumer First Roofing.

My grandfathers chimney fell through his roof and left a large hole. James and his crew were straight up and honest through the entire process. They even helped with some insurance discrepancies and found hail damage so he could get his entire roof repaired. End result, my grandfather got his roof replaces and the hole covered for a great price. James and his crew were honest and did great work.

I contacted Consumer First Roofing to inspect the roof of my house & shop for hail damage. I knew there was damage to the house from a previous storm. He replaced my roof effortlessly and in a timely fashion; he was engaged with his crew and they did an exquisite job on a new designer shingle (slate pattern) - very even and straight.
