The lady asked me a lot of questions for verification just to tell me call your property manager and when I asked why go through all the verification if you know you'll tell me to call property manager if I wasn't asking for any customer information that requires verification and she was a little rude at first saying it's policy but the she close with thank you for feed back I don't believe it's policy I believe she need to be retrained.

I have been attempting to work with Conservice since July 18th to have my trash bins replaced. The initial responses I received were curt and dismissive, even implying fault on my part for not having my name displayed on the bins. As a woman living alone, I find that suggestion entirely inappropriate—I will not be labeling my trash bins with personal information, nor should I be expected to.

Since then, I have emailed the assigned representative four separate times with no response. Silence is not an acceptable form of customer service. If there is no update, I expect to be told so, rather than completely ignored. I have worked in customer service myself for over 40 years, and I would never disregard a customer’s request in this way.

My most recent message clearly stated that I would escalate this matter if I continued to be ignored. This is that escalation. I have now been without a functional trash bin for over a month, and this delay is completely unreasonable.

Please respond immediately with a clear explanation of the status of my request and when I can expect resolution. The handling of this situation so far has been egregious.

Horrible company! They literally have forced reliable employees out without severance. It’s only to outsource to China for cheap labor. It’s absolutely disgusting how the Team Leads and HR DO NOT care about the employees who have been with them for years. It’s beyond gross based off of these comments how dishonest they are with the customers too. How is this company still standing??

I am being charged double my average amount stated in my lease. $55 water bill and a $75 sewer charge. For a 2 bedroom apartment. When I called customer service they said there is nothing that I can do or that they can do to reduce my charges, even if I use less water. This company blatantly scams and hides behind the leasing companies they contract with. The leasing company then directs you to Conservice. One star because at least the name is fitting. Con service indeed.

I called to receive an explanation of charges but the representative could not answer these questions for me outside of say what billing period it was for. Conservice charges an additional $14.99 to all bill for preparation they agreed to do on the rental companies behalf but I receive charges from May, 3 months later on August billing period. This service is not something that works for every tenant and needs to be re-evaluated.

Be very careful of any rental company using Conservice. I spoke to them today because my final electric bill was the highest one in a year. Nobody was in the house for over 1/2 of the last month - no lights, air turned up, no activity. I was told they looked at last months bill and just estimated what it might be. Not actual usage, just a guess. I saw a few reviews where they replied that they pass along the bill from the utility company, that is not true and I was told this by Ricky in customer service. My bill was an estimate, not factual. Poor way of doing business and definitely taking advantage of the consumer.

If I could leave a negative star I would! We change over our utilities and electric bill at the end of March 2025 as instructed and have been fined every single month since for non-compliance! This place is a joke and so is the rental company Tricon Residencial. We've always paid our bills on time and even have the place looking better than when we moved in but at this point I'm done with them!

Charge me for service I pay for. Because one or both claim current residence is vacant by landlord or Conservice. You want me to prove I paid it by providing my bill. It comon sense to simply wonder why you only being billed one month for a couple of days not for a full month and its three months later. And just check with the land lord if they have a current lease. That's your proof.

My son rents a studio apartment, and due to the electric company making a mistake when he set up service, they were charging him "vacancy charges" and fees. The first time it was noticed we called and started working with the electric company to get it all sorted out and the charges reversed, since the fault was not his. They said since we did not call the electric company prior to move in date, the first of the vacancy charges could not be reversed (even though the electric was billed as of the first of that month anyway) so ok that first one I'll accept, but then there were 4 more months of charges. The rent at this 500sq ft studio is already $1080 (which i know co service is not responsible for) so on top of that, the extra nearly $200 a month in charges amd fees have debilitated him financially, as he was also paying the actual electric bill and his other bills. We have sent documents proving the issue several times and emailed and called, been told they would be reversed only to be told that call mever happened. If a complex you are looking at uses Conservice, think twice before signing that lease.

These people are thieves, we rent with AMH and unfortunately have to have this utility company. We first rented in a much larger home than we currently live in and our electricity kept coming at 300, 400 plus charge. Even in the Winter time...so we figured maybe it's cause of the size of the house. Oh no we moved to a much smaller home and we thought ok its gonna get better. Nope just received my bill and its 300. We dont leave lights on all day or the air. Not to mention my air doesn't go lower than 70 here at night. These people also would charge 2 months worth of bills in my old house. Be very careful with them because they definitely scam you. Just look at their reviews, I knew more people were being scammed! This company needs to be investigated for stealing money from people. Don't even waste your time calling because they will do nothing!

I was having some stupid moments setting up a password. I made 2 calls to customer service . Both people that answered were so patient and helpful to me even though I was frustrated and not in my best form. Problem was resolved

I’d like to rate a negative zero! I rarely review companies yet this requires a warning to ALL apartment renters. This apartment complex (Ascend Oakpointe in Apopka, FL) has been a nightmare since me & my husband took possession of our unit in late March. Now, these inflated water bills have become yet another issue. As others have indicated, this company is most definitely ripping people off. Unfortunately, the apartment managements that utilize their services are assisting them in their dishonest practices. You call your management office and they tell you that Conservice is the one I need to speak to. I call Conservice and they tell me that the apartment managements is the one to contact as they supply the information for them to bill. It’s a constant run around. I’m currently on the phone right now with Leslie (if that’s really her name) who tells my personal water bill is based on a percentage of the whole community’s usage. That’s absolutely insane as each unit has its own individual meter. Why am I getting charges for any percentage of what I’m not personally using?? “Leslie” tells me that a ticket has been opened with my request to see what the water provider is actually sending them for my meter. Somehow that request will need to be reviewed to determine if I can receive that information. That process will take 3-5 business days. What??!! Why is there a question of approval with me requesting how they are coming up with my usage charges? How does 3190 gallons @ 2.07 per 1000 gallon equal $30+ dollars? My entire townhome in Windermere was never more than $45 a month when our son was living with us yet we’re seeing almost $100 monthly water bills for two people.

As someone else mentioned, I will be filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau. They’re definitely hiding the true billing which is absolutely against every fair business practice I’ve ever heard of. This company needs to be shut down immediately!

UPDATE! The response received from this dishonorable company clearly shows their dishonesty and questionable billing practices. They claim to be billing residents based on “the individual consumption in their unit compared to others at the community”. This makes absolutely no sense and basically shows duplicate billing. Residents are being billed their own personal usage + a percentage of the entire community. This definitely was never communicated by management which I do plan to file a complaint against as well.This is just wrong and taking advantage of people. I encourage residents to scrutinize your water bills & complain to your county and management. This company needs to be stopped!

2nd Update! Please stop apologizing for the confusion as I’m not confused by the sneaky billing practices you’re utilizing. Instead, provide me with the requested info regarding how you’re SPECIFICALLY coming up with the amount billed to me personally because the bills do not show or indicate anything about being billed 10% of the entire community’s usage. Additionally, also explain why you’re billing $24.74 for the water base charge when the county’s actual base charge is only $11.24.

Called customer service to get garbage service scheduled. I needed pails delivered to put trash in after moving in and was told by customer service that they would submit my request but it can take five business days to hear back. I asked the representative what I should I do with all my trash. I had just moved into the property four days prior and was now expected to continue to hold onto more trash for another five business days. That sort of time frame is unacceptable.

I’ve had a terrible experience with this company, and I will not recommend it to anyone, I will let others know as well. Charging too much and then adding taxes for this & that & the other and then on top of all of those fees, $15 more for late fees as well as next month’s fees as well!! This is terrible!!

Poor customer service, some ignorant people working there with no consequence for their actions such as hanging up on the callers. Even they don't conect to supervisor per customer request. For $7 a month sunscription they claim they just gather and provide utility bills data in a digital format, for my 370+ apartments complex thats about $30,000+ a month income, this is another gimmicks in Arizona

They charge me vacant fees for gas $25 every month when they had already verified that my name is in the gas bill account. They continue to charge vacant fees when I had already did my part according to their lengthy instructions and given them a gas bill with all my info on it. Not right what their doing.

I've lived at my apartment complex for over 7 years with no water issues . This year my water cost began as low as $8-10 per month. By Feb it was at $29. It jumped to $50 in May, $80 in June and now $60 for July. The occupancy nor apartment size has changed. This has NEVER happened before. My only explanation was "maybe other people in the community are using more water". I am not charged by what I use but by what the entire community uses!?!
I guess people Just happened to began using more water Now.
I was told to go back to the office of my apartment complex after they told me to check with Conservice for answers.
It's being looked into.

This seems to be an expensive utility service. Checked so many other areas including homes and other apartments and I seem to pay $100 more than others. I know everyone has different rates but it just bothers me how much more I pay. I don't need to post my amounts because they know already and reading other reviews I'm not the only one who feels this way. Just feel i am being overcharged. Plus the trash sometimes if they don't come we have to take our own trash plus we have anyway 2 days out the week smh so what's the sense of it.

This corporation should be investigated. I am doing a review of them on the Better Business Bureau. My points of complaints are:
They will not set up payment arrangements, minimum payments are non negotiable.
After our property manager informed us they handed over our utilities to Conservice they did not let us know the company would send the past due to our property. Each amount transferred gets a thirty dollar fee attached that is added to our rent.
Too many mailings. At times two letters/notices arrive on the same day.

By far the worst company. The contract with the apartment complexes so renters can not opt out of service and then charge vacant service fees of $50 a month and you have to fight tooth and nail to get that taken off your account, if you're lucky! File a complaint with the BBB.

Rep calling me “sir” and rather than simply confirming my name, paused and commented it was “unusual”

Had to state the reason for my call was to add my payment info/transfer billing to my name…and the rep repeatedly interpreted that as wanting average monthly utility usage and cost??? Put me on hold 3x to research all before saying he wasn’t authorized to speak with me. Strange experience to say the least.

This utility company is a joke. I’ve had an ongoing issue with being incorrectly billed from THEM not my property mgmt since March. I’ve been on top of the matter since then but of course NOTHING was done although I’ve requested the matter to be escalated since it started, but all of a sudden as of today 7/8/2025, I get an email saying my case was closed as my account is closed with them (no longer a resident with the property mgmt that utilizes their services) . How sway smdh. So y’all incorrectly bill people and still expect people to pay bc the billing is apart of the rent payment but you won’t correct your error and compensate what was incorrectly billed REGARDLESS of no longer having services with yall? Incompetent and ridiculous!!

You make due date on the 1st of the month. Many people do not recieve their social security deposit until the 3rd causing a $15.00 late fee. If you made the due date on say the 5th it would be helpful. I don't mind the $3.00 service . I understand that.

Conservice charges me not for my own water consumption, but averages out the consumption of all of the residents in my complex and tells me it's part of my lease. My complex tells me they have nothing to do with Conservices billing. They are totally unjust. I am on a fixed income, didibility and my water bill is almost $100. I did NOT sign up for this and it's a deceptive business practice. I would not have moved here had I been told up front before signing my lease. Filing a complaint & lawsuit. They have a class action lawsuit in another state.

A very crappy company. They will overcharge you and not care of you get a late fee or a disconnect. They do not honestly care about the customer or their employees. Very vey poor customer service. The pay for their employeesis a joke, and the favortizm is EVERYWHERE here. Team Leads are a joke and so is their HR department. Theres nothing to discuss what so ever. Yall are truly a horrible company, so are the TLs and HR

This company is a rip off. The response was stated that they're happy to help, I haven't received any help from them the only help I have experienced is them getting extra money. Customer Service can't give any real answers of the charges. The majority of conservice reviews are negative and similar, which says alot about this company

I have a extremely high water bill, totalling 999.87. The bill usually averages around 114.00. I have contacted conservice several times with no help! I asked for someone to do another meter reading but was told the meter is correct. I called 4 more times and was told something different. Its been excuse after excuse.
