I've had the good fortune to identify a roofing company that I can trust and depend upon. David's team has helped us now on a few occasions over the last decade, address periodic damage to both our roofing and he even helped to facilitate service on our siding. This was outside his typical scope but he readily took on the challenge and ensured that we had a great experience. David team's have been consistently professional and David himself is both proactive as well as responsive whenever we've needed to touch base on the status of a job. An added plus, we've never had an issue with our insurance carrier as David puts in the work to make that a painless part of the process.

The most HONEST roofing company you will find. When selling a property a few years ago, my realtor's roofer said I needed to replace my roof. I had CRR come out for a 2nd opinion and they determined it didn't need to be replaced. The buyer's roofer agreed it didn't need replacement, saving me time and money, due to them actually caring about the homeowner. When I needed a new roof, shutters, etc. on a different property, due to hail damage, I called Dave right away. While others were waiting multiple months to get their roof replaced, CRR put on a new roof for me in a couple of weeks. Amazing experience, was fast, the sales process was amazing. The install took a day and the clean up was excellent. On my street everyone needed their roof replaced and after seeing several other companies I felt great about my choice!

David was great to work with. He came out to inspect the roof quickly and gave an honest assessment after all the hail we had received, telling us that the roof was still in great shape and didn’t require any unnecessary work. He also mentioned a couple things that I can take care of myself and save money rather than needing to hire them. It’s not too often that you come across a company as honest as they were.

I didn't know where to go at first, but luckily a good friend had used Colorado Roofing and Remodeling and he told me about this company that had put in a new roof. He told me he had never had a business do work on his house and finish on time and under budget until he found this company and that I had to give them a chance. I'm glad I did, the owner, David, came to inspect my project and I instantly knew I was dealing with a professional company that wasn't going to take way longer than promised. They showed up on time every day and always kept me aware of the progress and what to expect. Never had a project go so smoothly and quickly and absolutely no complaints.

David with Colorado Roofing and Remodeling installed a new roof and gutters for us.

They were great to work with! They took care of everything- the insurance claim, ordering the building permit, city inspection and scheduling. Their crew was here on time and finished the entire roof in 1 day. The gutters were done the next day. They cleaned up very well.

David was at my house during the building process and came by when they were all finished to inspect the work and pick up any remaining trash. They final bill was exactly the same as what was quoted before the work began. I would definitely recommend David and Colorado Roofing and Remodeling.

I've two roofs installed through Colorado Roofing and Remodeling and each time the experience has been painless, the roofs look great and David, the owner, is was always super responsive and is great to work with. One of the installs I paid for directly, so cost wise, I felt like CRR was a good value. The second roof was a due to manufacture defects in the shingles; David was great to work with, he was super helpful with the warranty claim and he and his crew quickly installed the replacement roof. Overall great experience working with Colorado Roofing and Remodeling and would recommend them to anyone needing to get a roof replaced.

David was great to work with. Integrity, honesty, punctuality, responsive, are just some of the words that could describe this company and the way they deal with their customers. I initially was going to go with another company but they failed to follow through with the insurance company the way David did. I know that could not have been fun dealing with them and it took some time, but David got done what the other company was not even willing to try. The work is great and David even did a few extra things for me that he did not have to. He went above and beyond!!! Thank you!!!

I had a great experience with David and Colorado Roofing and Remodeling. I filed a hail damage claim and then reached out to David for a quote to replace my roof. He met me at my house and walked me through the process, and provided me a detailed quote right away. The roofer crew was super efficient, friendly, and courteous. I was amazed when they had my 1980s vintage wood composite shingles removed by lunchtime, and the new shingles and flashing installed by sunset. They were very diligent in cleaning up debris from the yard and premises before leaving the site. They even used a leaf blower. They came back two days later and had all of the gutters installed in a couple of hours. David worked seamlessly with my insurance carrier, made the process easy, and was always a pleasure to coordinate with. I would highly recommend this company! --Chris Menges

I can only echo what the other reviews say. David Melvin handled all aspects , including the solar panel removal, of this project. He was honest, professional and made the process so easy. He worked with the insurance company so I did not have to be a middleman and kept me updated all the way through. If I could give him 10 stars I would.

Colorado Roofing and Remodeling installed a new roofing system on my rental property. David communicated clearly every step of the way with me by creating a very easy to follow plan. It was executed just as he explained it would. David took care of all the communication with my insurance company saving me the hassle and time. He ordered the building permit, scheduled all the building inspections, scheduled the material delivery and let me know exactly when the crew would be showing up to begin work. He even worked with my home owners association to get the shingle approval. Colorado Roofing and Remodeling finished the complete re roof in only 1 day. The crew used a nail magnet and thoroughly cleaned all around the property. David personally came by the next day to inspect all of the work and took over an hour to walk the entire property and pick up any little scraps of debris that might have been missed by the crew leaving the property spotless. Colorado Roofing and Remodeling didn’t collect any money upfront. Only when all the work was completed I paid. They even upgraded my shingles to a class IV impact resistant shingle for free. This is saving me hundreds of dollars on my insurance premium. This company is very professional. It was a very stress free and pleasant experience. I highly recommend them!

We needed a roof replacement with a short time frame as our house was under contract. David and Colorado Roofing and Remodeling pulled off in time for our closing. The crew was excellent to work with, timely and clean. Everyone was pleasant and easy to communicate with. No issues working with our insurance claim. Would definably use again in the future and no hesitancy to recommend.

Great company that installed my roof. The owner was great to work with, he took are care of everything. From the permit to the HOA as well as working with my insurance company. The crew was very professional and did great work without sacrificing quality. They also did a thorough job cleaning up afterwards. Would highly recommend them.

WORK: Full roof removal (3 layers asphalt shingles and original wood shake shingles), installed OSB board, new asphalt shingles and vents.

David was extremely responsive and helpful through the process of determining the level of work needed to replace my existing roof and clearly described in detail what I needed and why. I was presented with various material options and colors to choose from and never felt pressured to choose one over the other. The Contractor was more than willing to price different options to help in the decision making process. I was extremely pleased with the prompt response, clear estimate, and very competitive pricing. In the end I'm convinced the overall value cannot be beat.
The work actually started a day early and was complete in 1.5 days instead of the expected 2 days. Outside of the new roof I couldn't tell all anyone had been there to replace my roof. My house/property was left as they found it . . . with the exception of an amazing new roof!

5/4/2018 - A quick follow up to great work I received from CO Roofing and Remodeling. Just yesterday I noticed a wet spot in my ceiling after a few days of rain. Immediately thought this must be a roof problem so I reached out to David that evening. He personally showed up the next day with his experienced crew chief to inspect the issue. It ended up being an egregious error by my siding contractor who put holes in my roof to shore up their scaffolding and failed to repair them. Additionally, my remodeling contractor failed to seal flashing on one of my vent pipes and did not install the vent cap. David offered to address both problems that afternoon for a very reasonable price (which I will be passing on to my other contractor). It's good to know that there are contractors out there like CO Roofing and Remodeling who are responsive and take pride in their work. Can't recommend this company enough!

David and his crew did an excellent job with our roof after hail damage last year. They came back to fix a couple things when requested and for the inspection and our roof looks great! Would highly recommend them!
