Joe came by our house as part of those cold calls companies make after severe weather, and we could not have been happier with the overall outcome. First, he did his own inspection and assessment for hail damage, then helped us open a claim with our insurance company. He was there while the adjuster did his inspection, then advocated for damage they disagreed on.

He was very responsive and proactive with updates, even when scheduling was taking a while. The final product looks great and we’re so happy with it. They even advised us on insurance plans - to make sure we get a Replacement Cost Value plan next time so it will cover all costs, instead of Adjusted Cost that pays less the older your existing features are.

We just had a roof replaced. Our experience was excellent from start to finish. Matt was amazing. I initially was very reluctant talking to another Roofing “salesman." Matt asked for 5 minutes. I was impressed with his down to earth personality and him basically saying let me do all the work and if it doesn’t work out or sound good to you, you have nothing to lose. And he was 100% right. He did all t heavy lifting for us. All we had to do was put the claim in. He handled everything from beginning to end and our roof came out beautifully. The crew were able to get our roof done in one day, making it so convenient for us not to deal with all that stuff for more than one day. I highly recommend C&N construction for your roofing needs and definitely recommend Matt for his great customer service and commitment to the customer.

If I could leave zero stars, I would. Do not use this company!!!!! Avoid this company!!!!!!! They were super eager to get my business initially, then after a customer service call asking for an update since I didn’t hear from the technician, I received another person. Well, here we are now- 2 salesmen later both with false promises and no follow up, and 4 months of waiting- still nothing. I’m very disappointed. This company is terrible with communication, provides customers with unkept promises, and has poor customer service. I researched this company and checked out reviews, which all seemed positive. After my experience, I find it hard to believe that all of these positive reviews are even real. The people over our project have had terrible communication and nothing has been done about it!! He’d tell us he’d get back to us, then nothing for weeks until I reached out again.

Very displeased with the unkept promises, communication and timeline. Our project start time was delayed multiple times. The person over our project was horrible with communication. He’d tell us he’d get back to us, then ghost us for weeks. Now we were promised that another issue created by the workers with wires left hanging would be fixed two weeks ago and they have yet to be fixed.

So instead of telling us your busy .you need to keep your word & get out shingles and replace that roof before it gets cold & they don't adhere!! Anthony Riotto with C&N construction came out to my property After a storm, they did an inspection and then met with my insurance adjuster. Got State Farm to pay for the entire roof. Thanks a lot guys.

The C&N crew gets 5 stars. They shielded all my landscaping and moved all my deck furniture out to the way before they started. Angel worked with me for almost 8 months to finally get my insurance claim worked out for storm damage. After the crew were done, they rake through my lawn for any nails. They moved all my deck furniture back. It was like they were never there except for a great looking roof.

We recently had our roof replaced by C&N Construction and had an outstanding experience from start to finish. Damian was our initial point of contact — he was incredibly helpful throughout the entire process, especially with navigating insurance and the appraisal. His guidance made everything so much smoother and less stressful.

Once the project moved forward, we worked with Matthew, our general contractor. He ensured everything was organized, on time, and completed to a high standard. The crew was efficient, respectful of our property, and got the job done quickly without cutting corners.

Promises made and Promises kept. C&N is the best!
--------That is the short version of my review :) and That is the main point of this story.

A C&N Door to Door sales rep, Marino and Kyle knocked on my door in August 2024 to see if they could do a free storm damage inspection.

Marino took a look at our house and roof and highlighted the hail dents on our Aluminum siding along with gutters and shingles for our home as well as detached Garage.

He mentioned that there was sufficient damage to file an insurance claim.

I followed Marino's lead, and we started the claim filing process with Insurance. Marino took the reigns and made everything happen.

I was a bit nervous prior to starting this process, As I had never been through a homeowners insurance claim process, but, after a few calls with Marino, I felt confident in the process that he, and the team at C&N knew exactly how to handle the situation.

He also covered, in detail with me, the differences between siding types that we might choose, and we decided on Vinyl siding for cost savings :).

An insurance inspector came out to the house to review the property in September, and on the same day, a C&N Rep had also come to the property to ensure that the adjuster reviewed all damaged areas of the property.

By October , our claim was approved by insurance and a check was mailed out, which had to be endorsed by our mortgage company. We had the insurance cash in our bank account to get the repair process rolling by November 2024.
--Marino reviewed the insurance repair estimate, and realized that Insurance had forgot to add in Housewrap and Drip edge, so, Marino sent a request to insurance to add that to the repair estimate, which insurance did--and a separate check was mailed out.

However, due to winter settling in, we did not start work until April 2025 (Marino had time to do the Job in January, but, I asked if we could delay until April)

April 15th--the Roofing job was done!

The roofing team did a WONDERFUL job on their work! They did a great job installing shingles and caulk where necessary.

Then, we started the Siding and Gutter work on June 11th, and they were done with the job in two days!

The Siding and Gutter team were also excellent! They paid LOTS and LOTS of attention to detail.

They did FANTASTIC work with Flashing for the window wraps and areas where the siding came near the brick face of our home. .
---The Siding team did a wonderful job with their attention to detail! They did wonderful work!.

All in all, we now have new roof/siding and Gutters, and if it was not for that very first Door knock from Marino/Kyle with C&N in August 2024, we would not be here today.

Approximately one year ago a hail storm rolled through the north western suburbs, and our roof was severely damaged. I contacted my insurance company and had a difficult time securing any monetary help. By chance I contacted C&N Construction and they said they would take a look at the roof. They sent a young man out (John Vasilopoulos) to survey the roof. Before going up on the roof he spent some time
talking to me about the process of securing payment from the insurance company through the installation of the new roof. John worked tirelessly and on three separate occasions he was up on the roof with insurance inspectors. In the end, John was able to secure a payment from the insurance company to pay
for the entire roof. I can without hesitation recommend John and C&N Construction to anyone who is trying to replace their roof. You will find John to a be very personable and professional young man. He clearly explains the process from beginning all the way through the installation of the new roof. The entire
job was done in an orderly fashion, and completed on time. Through the entire process, John is only a phone call away and will answer any questions you have concerning the job.

Avoid This Company – Not Worth the Risk

Please do not work with this roofing company. My experience has been extremely frustrating. Their communication is terrible, and they failed to complete the work that was clearly agreed upon. The salesperson initially promised everything would be handled, but after multiple delays over several months, he stopped responding altogether.

As soon as they received payment, their interest in following through disappeared. Nothing got done, and now I’m left with unfinished work and no one returning my calls.

There are plenty of other roofing companies out there—don’t take the risk with this one. It’s just not worth the headache.

Full disclosure...Billy is my nephew but I had been looking at other companies originally so I know how much better he was with communication and quotes. He offered the best price, customer service and his guys were wonderful throughout the process. He worked with my insurance company to get everything that we should have from them and then to make things work within our budget. The crew was very professional and left my property exactly as it was when they arrived which was definitely refreshing. The roof looks great! And he worked hard to get other damage covered that originally wasn't. I am very grateful and highly recommend them for all of your outside house needs!

Amazing company to get your roof redone by! They are beyond professional on every level of being a professional from first interaction to the last. Helped out with getting my solar panels taken off to get the roof done and getting them back on. Always super nice and helpful with every interaction. It all started off with Hugo Gomez knocking on our door and giving us some information about there might be damage from the massive hail storm that past and that was that and started the process not to long after. Definitely will always recommend this company and it's people for anything!

The company lacks customer service skills and following up with customers . My husband and I were approached by Derrian Hall because our roof had some hail damage. We went through the insurance because this is what he recommended and they denied my claim and the rep was supposed to follow up with the insurance company and send additional information and he never did so my claim was closed . He never returned our calls or responded to text . I would not recommend this company. Please retrain you sales rep to have customer service skills .

Last year I allowed a different roofing contactor to inspect my roof as I was sure a had damage from a storm. Damage was found and I filed a claim with my insurance company. The insurance company sent an inspector, they found a few damaged shingles and said they would make those repairs, which after my deductible would amount to about a hundred dollars being paid for the claim. Later, Gil from C&N Construction contacted me and offered to send a drone up to inspect for damage. Gil reported that hail damage was indeed found, and he said that he could just update my current claim with the insurance company, expressing his confidence with his new findings. Once again, my insurance company came back offering what I considered to be only paltry offering. Undeterred, Gil and C&N Construction filed an appeal with my insurance company, arranged for a third-party arbitrator/inspector and conducted yet another inspection. The arbitrator agreed with C&N that hail damage was present and that a new roof was the only reasonable and proper remedy. Like most people, I do not like dealing with insurance companies. For me, Gil and C&N Construction was a dream come true, as they handled nearly all the communications. My contact was limited to mostly just forwarding any email I got to Gil, and they handled everything. Their workers were polite and professional. They did a very efficient and effective cleanup after the job. I highly recommend C&N Construction.

Overall satisfied with C&N after some doubts they could get a roof approved with my insurance. Process takes a while with communication a bit slow at times on their side. In the end, I got a quality roof with professional install crew. My rep Gil, worked hard to make it all happen.

Great company. Had a rep (Tyler) present for everything. He explained and handled everything very well. Made the insurance navigation smooth and easy. Work was fast and looks good.

It took some time to get the insurance to pay but I was told it would be . The crew turned up early and finished it right before dark . In the am I see that there is an area I didnt like . I called Eric and told him how I felt and he took it to his boss . Within a week I got a phone call from his boss and he had a man out to fix it fast . Looks great and I appreciate the new gutter .

Pros: Ken was great, the work was efficient and expedient, the roof looks a LOT better now and the slight leak in the bathroom is gone.

Cons: Insurance. Ken conveyed to me that he fought to get this figured out, and to me (from being in sales) it was 'I called and they said no.' Either way, the fact remains that we are paying $1,200 more because of someone else's mistake, and there's no accountability because the burden falls on the consumer, and the day continues on.

Pros: The entire process (minus cost differential) was surprisingly easy, and the work looks great. I was happy to work with Ken.

I was suppose to get a bonus for getting Tyler a couple of jobs and yet to see any compensation. They told me 3 weeks ago I was getting the check and it never arrived. They are a bunch of liars. It's now been almost 4 weeks and still no bonus check. Next step the BBB

Their driver in a gray pickup with your company labels at the intersection of New York and eola in aurora on 4/1/25 at 405 pm was horrible. Drove up on the grass median spitting grass everywhere to jump pass traffic was very unsafe and makes your company look really bad.

Total scam. These guys knocked in my door despite my very obvious no soliciting sign. They lied and said my insurance company contacted them about my roof. I just replaced my roof two years ago. They wrote on this flier that I have roof damage. Not true. Then after I closed the door the guy hung around on my patio for a while. Very creepy.

John saw that I had some shingles loose because of the wind storm. He stopped in and gave me a quote and agreed with me that this was a small job and that my roof was in good shape. C & N took care of the entire process from start to finish. They gave me a free inspection, determined that a new roof was needed, worked directly with my insurance company to get as much of the cost covered as possible. The only thing that I was tasked with with my HOA approval. The roof was completed in 1 day, everything was cleaned up and items moved were put back. Roof looks great, Billy suggested the shingle color which works perfectly. I would recommend C & N to everyone. Cost was much less than my neighbors paid.

C&N Construction offered a free inspection that resulted in hail damage we weren’t aware of. They worked with us and our insurance company to replace our roof, ventilation materials, skylights, gutters, soffit and facia on our house and our separate garage. The guys were very respectful, worked really hard and left our property clean from debris when the work was completed. We would highly recommend C&N Construction to anyone! A C & N representative walked up to our house and asked if he could inspect our roof for a quote for repairs. M wife and I were reluctant to do so being the person walked up off the street. It turns out it was the best decision we could have made for getting our roof repaired as after they inspected the roof and put insurance came out and inspected it the roof had a lot of damage. The construction crew that came out was very respectful and did an amazing job cleaning up after they were done with the roof. Very please with the work that was done. The field supervisor, Hans Hidalgo, made the process easy and coordinated with our insurance agent without an issue. I had a brand-new roof, gutters and downspouts, as well as some fascia and window screens replaced. All work was completed with high quality workmanship and people who were respectful of my neighbors and my time. The roofing team was great at keeping mess to a minimum and all work was delivered as planned.

The work was good and the workers even better. Sometimes working in below freezing temperatures. Our lead sales manager, Marino, was great! Fantastic follow-up and communication.

Brandon knocked on my door after hailstorm in the area. Normally, I would not bother, but he was friendly and professional so when he asked if he could look at roof, I said "knock yourself out".

Two months later, house and rental property have new roof (and siding). They did ALL the work with the insurance company. The insurance company inspected with Brandon, expediting approval of payment. The people that complete the work do amazing work and are also very professional and friendly.

So grateful to have met Brandon and the team at C&N. Literally tens of thousands in work paid for by insurance company--which is why you pay the premiums. The neighbors were suspect and told me to temper expectations with these 'storm chasers'. I would never call these professionals that--without their service taking the time to knock on door, my homes would be subject to further loss and damage from poor roof. I would have never thought to file a claim or notice any damage. I had checks in hand for 90% of the work before it started, gave them $5K for each job downpayment and only had to pay in full after work was complete. At that point insurance releases the other 10% they hold back in case you take the money and run.

The roofers did a great job. Their work looks amazing, they were very quick, and they were courteous. I had an initial problem with the invoice and was having trouble getting it resolved through the salesperson, but the VP of Sales, Owen, called me and immediately stepped in to resolve the issue. I'm really impressed at how well Owen handled the situation. It means a lot to know that they take their customer satisfaction so seriously.

I was referred to C&N for a roof replacement and my experience was outstanding! My sales rep, Gil, and his supervisor, Sam, were very understanding and made the process easy. They even walked around the property multiple times to pick up leftover debris from the tear down, which may seem like a small thing, but for me it saved me the headache of having to pick up nails and other material from my property. The day after completion, I got up on my roof to take a look and was not disappointed - the crew re-installed my gutter guards that were placed prior to start of the job and really paid attention to detail. Communication throughout the process was prompt and informative, which I really valued. I would highly recommend this company to anyone that is considering a roof replacement for their home.
