This is I think one of the biggest Lumber Yards around the whole Southeast Kansas District . 20 years ago Diebolt Lumber Yard was the biggest Lumber Yard in Southeast Kansas. Before he closed down he's Lumber Yard Business for good. In the year of 2015.

Everyone was very nice and helpful, we didn't end up with what we needed, but they gave it there all, and we appreciate that very much.

Was visiting from out of town. Super impressed with the friendliness, attentiveness and extra mile every staff member went to to help us with our project and in gathering all the supplies we needed. Right down to the guy outside way in the back of the lot in the north forty that had to get our stepping stones LOL. What a trooper!!!

We enjoy purchasing materials locally and the service we receive from Cleaver Farm & Home. We are so glad they are located in Chanute to make for quick hardware runs and material sourcing a breeze.

These guys are awesome always there to help you find what you need and they are pretty knowledgeable. I love the fact that I can tell them what I have as a project and they bounce ideas of their own to you specially kyle.

These guys are so knowledgeable! There are so many employees to help out at all times, it's like the opposite of a Home Depot or Lowe's experience where you have to wonder about the aisles looking for someone to help you. These guys catch you as you're walking in the door and are full service! They come from behind the counter and help you as needed. I will say they're not always the most economical on everything I've needed, but then sometimes I find the best price here, like with vinyl gutters, they were 30% cheaper than big box stores. They also deliver to a large surrounding area for very cheap. This is exactly what a small town hardware store should be!

The staff were friendly & helpful. Angie helped us with our swimming pool problems. If you have a pool and need help, go to Cleavers & ask for Angie!

Great place to find stuff for building. You can find things for piping, home improvement, and tools in general. Best place to find lumber in chanute
