St. James Millcreek Episcopal Church had a solar system installed by Clean Energy over 5 years ago. Our experience with them has been excellent. Whenever, we have issues they are very responsive and do their work in a professional fashion. We highly recommend them.

Had an error message (arc detected) in my inverter. I reported it to Clean Energy and promptly got a message on how to reset the inverter. I was impressed and pleased.

Had Solar in N.J. and thought about getting it here after moving to Delaware, found Clean Energy at a vendor show at local High School and started the process then. In a short amount of time system design then panels installed on my roof, helped me with paperwork on Delaware Grants and soon the deduction for % of cost for income tax credit. System getting turned on soon and looking forward to producing electricity since it is Air Conditioning and pool filter season. We became a customer of CEUSA 12 years ago. We recently arranged for a service call. The technician announced his arrival and afterwards explained the action he took. He then performed a quick inspection of our entire system.

I did a lot of research before deciding to install solar panels on my roof. I got bids from several companies but went with Clean Energy USA because they were based in the Lewes/Rehoboth Beach area, which is where my house is located. The process of getting approvals to qualify for state solar incentives was not as straightforward as I had originally thought. These requirements,, along with the severe cold and snow storms that we suffered through this winter, resulted in many unavoidable delays. Clean Energy USA stood behind me through every challenge. Their staff provided friendly advice and impeccably professional service during the design, installation, and energization of my solar system. I am 100% satisfied with the outcome and will always recommend Clean Energy USA to everyone who asks about my experience with choosing a solar contractor.

Clean Energy is a fantastic company. I had to speak with Rick, the President of the company, about a problem and he resolved the issue very quickly.

This is the 2nd company I have dealt with regarding solar energy. And I have to say they are on their game. I don't have time to check if my panels are working correctly and producing the most energy because I am super busy. But they send me emails and calls to make an appt to check and repair my system. No one does that. Not that it ever fails. But they make sure it is working at its prime. My system is paid for. Yes, I have a warranty, but you usually call them when there is a problem, not the other way around. When I reached out with questions, they answered almost instantly. That's what you want when you invest in something like solar energy. You want to ensure you are getting the most out of them and that everything that can be done to get the most performance is happening. And this company makes sure of that. My solar wasn’t working because of the snow even after some of it melted but my neighbors was working. Alexis helped me out and told me how to reset my inverter. Working now thanks. My solar saves me so much on my electric bill. Only $28 a month maybe one or two months a few dollars more.

Everyone at Clean Energy has been excellent to work with. Very professional. On time with commitments and easy to get in touch with. Our new solar system is working very well and producing the energy needed for our new home. Highly recommend!

For over eight years and in two homes, the Clean Energy team members have provided not only prompt but friendly service for our system.

We have been very happy with Clean Energy. The initial introductory discussions where especially clear and thorough. The engineering evaluations also were explained very clearly. Installation and energization went well, and Clean Energy has been very responsive to questions and concerns.

I had birds living under the solar panels. Called Clean Energy for installation of a pest protection barrier. They responded very quickly, job was scheduled and completed in a very timely manner. I would highly reccomend them to anyone needing their service.

Clean Energy have replaced a couple of my micro inverters - and all of the staff - the admins as well as the technicians who did the work, have been a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend Clean Energy!

We had issues with Delmarva Power. They wanted me to pay $6k to upgrade my transformer after signing a paper saying it was no charge. Clean energy went to bat for me and made sure they upgraded the transformer for free! Thank you Lyn!

Just wanted to say what great employees you have. I was in need of help with a flat tire and Max took time to assist me. He was extremely friendly and helpful. Once the tire was fixed he waited a few extra minutes just to make sure everything was good. Again thank you Max so much.

I had trouble logging into the new app. Alexis Musser responded within minutes and got me the info I needed. Great service.

Critter fence installation: all communications with Alexis Musser of the service team was via email but it was very efficient and almost immediate. The installation team was neat and professional providing me with an explanation of the installation process. The installation team also let me know that there were no signs of nesting under the panels and that my gutters were clean! This is a great hedge against potential future critter damage. It should have been offered at the time of original installation though that was 9 years ago and it looks like Clean Energy has learned some lessons along the way. Thank you!

Clean Energy did not install my solar panels originally. However, when the initial company quoted me for repair work, I reached out to Clean Energy. Their team responded quickly and replace two micro inverters and squirrel eaten wiring. Very pleased with work done and pricing charged.

Clean Energy techs came out to service and fix my mom's solar panels. They were prompt, polite and quick. The cost was reasonable and they actually adjusted the invoice when the fix was simpler than expected. Loved working with them!

I needed to replace my roof. Clean Energy USA was excellent to work with to coordinate removing the solar panels prior to the roof replacement and installing the panels after the roof was finished. I am VERY pleased with their work and coordination with our roofer.

Clean Energy did not originally install my solar panels. However, when the initial company let me down, I reached out to Clean Energy and their team took over to service my panels, answer any questions concerning my panels, and assisted me to understand the APP and etc.

We installed a large, residential solar system 4 years ago. All worked as advertised. Had our first problem this week. Called customer service and immediately received a response from Tabitha. Tabitha then dispatched Bryan (installer) on-site in a few hours and our unit was fixed in 15 minutes. A good company sells a product. A great company has great service/support when things break or go wrong. 100% happy with Clean Energy USA!!!!

I have had such a great experience with Clean Energy USA. So professional, so efficient, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. I cannot say enough about how wonderful my interactions with the crew were, from start to finish, sales to install to after install support. I've been very impressed with my experience with Clean Energy USA. Unlike all the other contractors we used when building our new home, they were always responsible, did not require follow-up and did everything they said they would do in a quality manner. They made what can be a complicated process easy and relatively quick.

We had one issue during our install that required moving some vents in our roof. At first, they said our builder needed to move them, but when I asked if they could, they had a roofer out in a matter of days to do it for us at no chrage. It was a tremendous help given my builder likely would have taken weeks and charged a fortune.

Excellent service, very good technicians. Nice explanation of the system, easy to understand and informative. Rachael is very helpful both on the phone and by email, we greatly appreciate her terrific level of service. Overall a wonderful company to deal with.

I contracted with CE USA to install solar during the construction of my house, and also asked about a eventually getting a generator - now, this was at the time when Schell Brothers wasn't offering generators due to supply chain issues. I called the sales guy multiple times, he said he would get back to me, never did. So I arranged with another company for a generator.

Turns out that additional work is needed so that the solar inverter disengages when the power goes out and the generator kicks on. I called CE USA, now they say this is a new request even though I had discussed it with them. They sent over an electrician to determine the needed materials 3 weeks ago, I have not heard anything since. I have left multiple messages on the customer service voicemail -- they never answer the phone -- and nobody has called back.

I left one last voice mail for them, suggesting they should remove the part of the greeting which says "Your call is very important to us". It ain't, or they would have called me back.

I’m am extremely disappointed with my experience with this company. They told me to sign up to lock in a rate while
I talked to my husband and that if I don’t want to continue with the process they would cancel me first thing the next day. My husband decided not to go solar and I sent the email first thing the next day. No response. I sent multiple emails to the sales rep (Kyle Freeman), the project manager and the loan company with no response. I finally get ahold of the sales rep 3 days later and he says “oh no worry I will cancel it and you should have cancelation confirmation emails by later today (Friday) at the latest Monday”. Here I am 2 weeks later no cancellation email in sight nor has he responded to my follow up emails. I will NEVER use this company!
