Josh Biggs is owner of Citadel Roofing & Construction. Beginning April 2025, he and his crew reroofed my 20 year old house with high ceilings, it is a very large roof with a steep 11/12 roof pitch. Josh showed up every day and worked alongside his crew of 6 workers. He is very skilled at roofing and construction and made recommendations that improved on what was already there. He is a good communicator, who reported daily to me during this two week project. My house and surroundings were kept neat with clean-up daily.
Josh is reliable and has earned my trust and I am very pleased with the roofing job.

During one of those rare two day rain events here in Star Idaho, We discovered a leak from a vent above our toilet. Josh stopped by shortly after I called on his way to an appointment in Boise. The flashing around the vent had not been properly installed and within 10 minutes he had it temporarily repaired and will stop by when things dry out for a more permanent fix.
Aside from being a nice person, Josh is very professional, knowledgeable and above all else he is honest.

Big maroon colored citadel roofing truck driving incredibly rudely and aggressively. I was going the speed limit on Eagle Rd with children in the car, and a large Citadel Roofing truck roars up behind me and is tailgating me 3 feet off my bumper at high speed. He then dangerously weaves in and out of lanes to try to get a little bit ahead. And then of course I pull right up beside him at the next stop light... his dangerous, aggressive driving puts lives at risk and got him no further ahead. We own multiple properties, and I currently have a large roofing need... I know who I will definitely NOT be calling. Business owners, please take note - if you have your company name on your vehicle and then you or your employees drive like jerks, it is definitely not good for business!!! Driving north on Eagle Rd on 10/23/23 at 7pm.

Overall a perfect experience with a contractor. Josh is a very honest, friendly, and hard working person. He is a skilled tradesman in many different fields and does roofing, remodels, concrete work, additions, or many other types of jobs. His prices are fair and he pays close attention to detail. Citadel Roofing and Construction is the Treasure Valley and Idaho’s best roofer and general contractor!

Josh is a rare find. He is meticulous, capable, caring, honest, punctual, fair, and he takes pride in his work. Josh replaced the trim on our chimney for us and we will use him for all our home maintenance and improvement projects in the future. If you want an honest man with good values, Josh is your man!

I was looking for a company to check on my roof and after contacting different companies Citadel, taking different quotes i chose Citadel because there were in a reasonable price , high quality material but not only they were the only one not pushing me to replace the roof.. they were the only one to say me that l can just repair my roof, not replacing it. They weren't looking to make a big business but to be honest first with a owner that doesn't understands anything about roofs. Josh has been so patient explaining the details and all the teams worked out like a big friendly company. I replaced my roof and I am extremely happy with my choice and the great job they have done. Thank you Citadel !

The crew did a great job. We were pleased with the two days + of prep work before painting began. The paint job still looks fantastic three years later. Ron and Josh captured details I never thought about which greatly enhanced the overall appearance. I'd hire them again in a heartbeat!
