Customer feedback is predominantly negative, with several reviews detailing serious complaints about service quality, reliability, and financial integrity. Many customers reported issues such as uncompleted work, failure to respond to communications, and difficulties in retrieving deposits. While a few reviews highlight positive experiences regarding prompt service and quality work, these are overshadowed by the numerous severe allegations of professional misconduct. The lack of consistent, reliable service and communication has left many dissatisfied and frustrated.
- HIGHLY RECOMMEND. We had lights flickering and finally found out it was the meter base.
- Chris came out and looked at our electrical box that was original to the house, in 1968.
- The quality of the work was great. They were on time and worked hard to get this done for me.
- Very responsive from the first phone call. On time to work, and friendly people working.
- After the death of Mr. J.L. Chambers, this company cannot be trusted.
- He didn’t show up our agreed start date, but finally did a few days later where they ripped up our bathroom floor, and left it unfinished.
- They scheduled the work for two weeks but never showed, contacted them many times with no response.
- It has now been 6 weeks and they haven't been responding any more and they still have my money.

Do not hire Chris Chambers or James Hall for any work. I give them 0 stars. After the death of Mr. J.L. Chambers, this company cannot be trusted. They stole money and equipment from me, and I had to hire a true professional to tear out the work the crew did and start over.

On May 3rd we gave Chris a $3,500 deposit toward a $9,500 job. He didn’t show up our agreed start date, but finally did a few days later where they ripped up our bathroom floor, and left it unfinished with only plywood & no new tile. The sink has also leaked since being put back in and is now growing mold from a month of dripping.
A week later, May 15th, after several phone calls he came to upgrade the electrical system, which was completed, but with deep cuts in the wall from the new breakerbox. Bathroom floor still unfinished. He asked for a draw of an additional $1200 for materials for the rest of the job promising to show up Monday to finish the floor and the outside screened in porch.
No call, no show Monday. Called several times and finally got an answer when calling from a different number, where he again promised to show up the following Monday. He hasn’t answered calls or texts since. His wife can’t get up with him, his mother has stopped responding to me. We’re now stuck with a kitchen wall that needs to be fixed, an unfinished bathroom floor and a leaking sink. On top of it all, this was the small part of the job, the main was the screened in porch which was what all the material cost went to. After a little research it appears he is also not licensed and insured like he claims. We will be pursuing legal action both civilly and criminally.

Contracted them on January 23rd to fix damage from a tree falling on house, gave them a $2,500 deposit a few days later when asked for one. They scheduled the work for two weeks but never showed, contacted them many times with no response, went to their house and got excuses and promises to get it done. Another month goes by and nothing. I terminated the contract at the beginning of April and asked for my deposit back, they asked for time to come up with the money and I agreed to a few days. It has now been 6 weeks and they haven't been responding any more and they still have my money. Thieves.

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.
The cost to replace the roof of a commercial building typically ranges from $5 to $12 per square foot, depending on several factors such as roof size, material, labor rates, building type, and local code requirements.
Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
