CHL just completed a major expansion to our screen porch and added a fireplace. Chris has a great crew and did an excellent job. They were here when scheduled, cleaned up every day and finished on time.

Chris and his team were awesome! From day one, they were easy to work with, very professional, clear and communicative. I never had a single issue. Having been around construction for over 20 years, that simply doesn't happen much, if ever. Couldn't be happier with the service I received nor the quality of the end product. I'm already discussing the next thing I want them to do.

I bought my home in Lake Arrowhead in September. It had everything I needed except for an outdoor living space. I contacted Chris about a screened in enclosure. He and his amazing crew brought my vision to life. He and his team did an amazing job and the final product was everything and more I could have hoped for. I highly recommend this company.

Chris and his team are just SUPER!! We bought a fixer upper when we moved here three years ago. My husband is a DIY-er, but realized a kitchen was just too large a project. Just completed our kitchen renovation and some upgrades in our great room!! The contract was clear and concise and the pricing was fair!! Any changes were made clear and charged/credited appropriately!! It’s tough for a cook to be without her kitchen but it was made easier because I was kept informed of what work would be done and what time workers would arrive. All the workers were respectful of our belongings, worked hard while here and cleaned up as much as possible at the end of their days work. We could not be more pleased!! We have been so pleased with our kitchen that we had Chris and his team back to add our deck. They replaced a triple window unit with a very high quality sliding patio door with integrated blinds!! Again they are punctual, skilled and great to work with!! We especially appreciate how they manage unexpected events by discussing pros and cons to arrive at a solution!! Spencer did a great job hanging doors for us-- including trimming, drilling holes for doorknobs and setting all the hardware. On time and at the estimated price!

CHL just tore down our old deck and built a large screened porch in its place. The crew was timely, the work was well done with supervisors consistently inspecting along the way, and the communication and follow-up was immediate and eager. Excellent experience all the way around!

Chris and his team just finished their 2nd bathroom remodel project for us. After remodeling our master bathroom about five years ago and did such a beautiful job, we decided to have them do our smaller hallway bathroom. We are very pleased with the results! We recently had a tub to shower conversion done that ended up turning into a disaster ,Thankfully CHL came to the rescue and was fixed all the problems and installed everything correctly and it came out beautifully. I highly recommend CHL. They do quality work and we will use them again!

CHL helped us with rescreening a porch - communication was excellent; work was done professionally. Both Chris and James were a pleasure to deal with.

So I get multiple quotes for any project I intend on doing to try to save where we can. After speaking with an inexperienced phone rep n hanging up, the owner calls n seems disappointed that I’m going to get more than one estimate, then proceeds to tell me “I don’t want to waste your time” because if you want to save money “we’re not for you”. So be forewarned, if you’re looking for best value for your hard earned money “we’re not for you”. I always let a potential business partner know what my intentions are when I contact them so they’ll consider putting their best foot forward on an estimate, so when I heard this response coupled with the fact that they didn’t even try to submit an estimate…this is all I needed to hear. Wish I could afford to turn business away these days for lack of effort. For those that have used this company and were happy good on you, but this was my experience with them.

Update…He’s backpedaling because he knows he’s in the wrong. His inability to train/hire good help n that he refuses to answer for, so when he gets called out on it he gets defensive.The fact as a business owner ur taking the ‘No accountability ’ stance is quite frankly all future customers should know before considering doing business n is a classic narcissistic trait. Customers deserve to know that after peeling back a layer of the onion u start to see the true colors.
Did u ever ask WHY I hung up Chris? I had to take an important phone call, while the perception was rudeness that was not the intention.
So Chris, u encourage ur clients to get multiple estimates but u didn’t provide me with one? Lol ur argument is asinine.
FYI look at ALL my Google reviews..11 of them total I think, of which 10 are 5 star with only urs being negative. Actions have consequences n u seemingly can’t handle it. I Personally don’t make habit of leaving negative reviews as anyone can see. Had u taken the time to ask why I hung up then this could’ve been avoided, but u didn’t. Then u contradict urself by saying “u encourage multiple estimates “ but yet u didn’t offer to give me one.

I cannot say enough great things about Chris and his team. They were on time, friendly, cleaned up, and were extremely helpful in walking us through our options- all around great company to work with! So great in fact, we hired them for a 2nd job before the first was even completed and would still use them again. And the cookies...the cookies were just the perfect cherry on top! Highly recommend!!

CHL has done two renovations for us and we couldn't be happier. First was creating an office space out of the living room we never used and most recently converting our screened porch to an all year round sunroom with mini split and completely redoing our deck and stairs with TREK. I highly recommend using CHL for any of your renovation needs. We have worked with other contractors years ago and by far CHL is the best! We've never worked with such caring individuals who take pride in the work that they do!

CHL just completed a major deck overhaul/expansion at our home. We replaced the existing deck, extended a roofline to create a covered space and added an outdoor fireplace. All of the decking and trim was done using Trex composite materials. The result is an incredible living space where we will probably spend the majority of our time as the weather allows. Chris was incredibly helpful with the design and process of selecting colors and trim. His knowledge is second to none and he understands project management better than any contractor we've ever worked with. He and James addressed every concern, answered every question and followed through with every promise. They treated the project as if it was their own house. This was not a small investment but we come away from it completely satisfied and delighted with the outcome.

Delt with inspections and inspectors perfectly. When we had one issue with the finished project they came agreed handled it professionally and made the adjustment to our satisfaction. This is our second time using CHL. We called them back after they added a mother-in-law suite to our basement, to finish the ceiling under our screened porch. We didn't want the standard under-deck treatment. Chris came out to look at the project and discuss non-traditional options. We decided on a staggered width dimensional PT lumber ceiling. Each plank was to be angled to promote drainage.

I couldn't be happier with the result! Carson and James made sure we were happy with the work as it went forward, and they did a spectacular job. They are always professional and friendly, and do quality work. The job site is treated with respect and always clean when they leave.

We contracted CHL to assist with an interior design upgrade to our living room. I shared a photo of the concept and Chris and his team executed it to perfection.

They were punctual and timely with all appointments. The work area was tidied up at the end of each day so as to keep adjoining areas functional.

We had to make an adjustment to the initial specs but they were able to accommodate without issue.

Chris was on sight to ensure everything was done to our expectations. Even what would seem the most minute matters were quickly addressed and corrected.

Chris and CHL did an outstanding job on our remodeling project. They put up and interior wall to form a new office in our house, and in the process put in a custom mud bench and custom cabinets. From the moment we first had Chris come to our house we were amazed by his professionalism, communication and attention to detail. These themes remained throughout the whole project, as his entire crew were simply the best to work with and have in our house. The end result exceeded our expectations and we couldn’t be happier. Sure we initially had some marginally lower quotes than CHL, but you get what you pay for and I’m glad we chose Chris and his team. We will definitely be a repeat customer soon for our next project

Chris and his team at CHL services did an amazing job from start to finish! They removed old tile flooring and countertops in our master bathroom, and replaced with new and updated tile/stone. Our kitchen Reno included countertop cutdown (raised bar edge) and install of new quartz countertops/sink.

The whole team was fantastic to work with, were all so nice and professional, and work was completed right on schedule!
