We recently had CertaPro complete a major project at our home. The work involved the repair of dry wall that had been subjected to water damage. The workers, led by Elias, expertly cut and replaced the dry wall and painted the areas to complete a perfect job. You would never know where the damage was done. The work involved 4 rooms in our home. The crew taped and laid down protective cloth to keep the dust at a minimum. They also did a great job in cleaning up after the job was completed. I highly recommend CertaPro based on the quality of the work, and competitive price! We will definitely hire them again!

CertaPro painted all of the exterior metal railings around our Mid-Century Modern home (Front, Back deck-pictured, MBR deck). They sanded each individual rung and repainted, restoring them to their original beauty. Could not be more pleased with the process from estimate to completed work! Professional and Personable employees. Will definitely use again and highly recommend.

Although overall we were pleased with the paint job, we were disappointed because we didn't get any touch up paint left to us which we needed as there are a couple of spots showing through. My husband called and was brushed off with the comment. "We didn't have any left" There was a lack of communication between the painters and whoever gave them the job. They almost painted the whole Kitchen instead of just the cabinets until I told them.
We are still cleaning up the garage from all the dust that was created from the sanding down and had to have them back to put the drawer fittings on correctly.
At this point, I would not recommend Certa Pro.

I set up an appointment for an estimate to paint our home's exterior trim, they came out at the scheduled time, and they gave me an estimate then. The crew came when scheduled, and they did an excellent job. We are very satisfied with their work.

CertaPro was great to work with. They showed up when they said they would, worked diligently and professionally. This is the second time I hired them.

The worst painting experience we have ever had. A different, untrained crew every day. Paint drips and spills on carpet and other surfaces. And when the seams they repaired failed within a few months, they did not honor their guarantee and refused to return our calls asking for help.

This was a response to a solicited review by this firm - sent to me in an email from the owner.

They responded quickly, did great work for a reasonable price. I would highly recommend. They did much more than painting including fixing all of the wood work and trim around windows and went above and beyond.

I engaged CertaPro Nashville for an exterior paint job on a screened in patio and they did a great job. The crew showed up on time and was very diligent and paid attention to all of the details. Even though there were some very delicate rose bushes in close proximity to the job, the team was able to work around them without damaging the plants. They took extra care with masking and kept us informed throughout the process. I was very pleased with the finished product and would use CertaPro again for other exterior painting needs. What a great experience for our commercial business. We were needing parking lot re-striping and we went from a cold call, to a quote and all the way to a finished product in under two weeks! Overall an excellent job! Tim and his helper took extra care to be neat. Hardwood floors were completely covered and all areas not being painted were taped out. After the price quote, it was discovered we needed to use oil paint rather than latex. Nonetheless, the price we paid was the price quoted. (Which was a very fair price!). Price quote on Monday. Job started Thursday. Job done early Saturday afternoon.

Surprisingly, my wife and I just had a terrible experience with CertaPro Painters in connection with a first floor, interior job. Wrong paint for the surface painted. Failed to cure. Bad color match, too light. The redo was messy. The salesman became defensive. Project manager Paula was a champ as she followed up on the second poor application and personally tried to mitigate the poor work (that was supposedly done by an "A" team of CentraPro Painters.) Totally disappointed. Odd, your exterior job done on the same home several years ago was A Plus. Guess times and workers' quality has declined. A shame.

We love the work that CertaPro Painters did with our home - both exterior and interior painting! The outside of our home looks great - we had them paint the entire exterior. They also did a great job covering a very "loud" color on the walls in our guest bedroom that was there when we moved into the house. We are super pleased with their work and highly recommend them for others in the area.

We are very pleased with the work performed by CertaPro Painters of Nashville for our exterior painting project. The work was quoted and performed professionally and at the same time we were given flexibility to make adjustments as needed. The painters (Edwin and his assistant) were courteous as well as especially conscientious in prepping by taping off everything to ensure we had a clean and great looking finished product. We would definitely use CertaPro for future projects.

Do not recommend. They did a HORRIBLE job. There are a ton of spots where they didn’t get enough paint. The window seals and trim were supposed to be low sheen and they painted them FLAT. They got PAINT all over our brand new wood stained floors. They got paint on kitchen counters and Windows. We were not home when they came to paint because we just bought the house and needless to say if you do hire them please have someone supervise it. 0/10 recommend

From start to finish everything was professional. The workers were respectful and friendly. We gave them cookies almost every day. The painting job was excellent and I would recommend them every day.

Claudia, Carlos and Daniel (and their team) were professional, kind and did an excellent job of painting and repairing the separation from walls to the baseboard and moulding. They were prompt and treated my home with care. Supervisor Paolo was excellent as well. Also, which is important, Certa-Pro's prices were very fair. I will use them in the future and have already referred them to my neighbors.

The painters were so lovely, worked hard, and took great pride in their work. The house sparkled after they pressure washed it before painting. They filled all cracks in the brick before painting. They were efficient and got the job done and done beautifully in two days.

I asked Certapro to paint a large portion of my homes interior. From the initial contact all the way thru everyone involved was on time, respectful of our home, clean and meticulous. I was so impressed by Alex at CertaPro Painters! He & his crew painted my open living/kitchen space and my kitchen cabinets. Being fairly OCD, I was skeptical about the outcome of the cabinets. Luckily, Alex was too! ;) He did an amazing job, everything is so smooth & professional AND they returned promptly when I asked for a couple places to be touched up. Highly recommend and will be using CertaPro for my other spaces!

My painting project was done efficiently and was done earlier than expected. My painting crew was terrific. They went the extra mile to make sure that everything was done as planned. I was extremely impressed and happy with the results.

DO NOT USE THEM!!!! They will try to change the price after you sign a contract!!!!! I contacted this company with a job to finish some drywall install some insulation and finish and paint. They had me sign a contract for the amount of $900 dollars with half being paid up front that I paid. I was then contacted and told they would be her on Monday the 3rd of February. They came on time and then left to pick up supplies 3 + hours go by and I get a call from the person that set up the contract. They stated they could not do the job and that it was going to cost $1850 more than double the original price!!!! Now they are in breach of the contract since they have now agreed and accepted money on a job they are not going to do. I called the local office and they stated that they could not do it for the price negotiated and it would be $1850. Now I feel like they are holding my deposit hostage even though they stated they have given me a refund but that money is still not posted to my account and the receipt they sent me was 6 hours after they said they gave me a “refund”….

The Team at CertPro did a great job working with us on a crazy schedule and getting the paint job done this year. The paint work was immaculate across the board and the way the team on the ground were on time, polite and professional.

A great paint crew was assigned to us. Slow start with weather delays but they really came thru and did an awesome job! The onsite coordinator lady was helpful as well with assisting on paint color matches.

I had CertaPro Nashville paint the entire interior of my home in June of this year. I wasn't going to waste any more of my time to follow up on the issues that I had with our job, but recent events have brought it to the forefront of my mind again.

We had them quote painting the entire interior of a house we purchased - to be painted before we moved in - our date to have the house painted was critical. I gave very specific information on the colors for walls and trims. The sales person, Max, came back with a quote that included a 'spring' discount, and then proceeded to text, call and email repeatedly saying that the discounts would fall off if I didn't sign up with them immediately. Their price was very competitive and he seemed to understand what I was asking for and I was feeling pressured to sign up before losing these discounts. Once we signed the agreement and paid a deposit, it all went downhill. I couldn't get a response to confirm everything and the start date, I had to keep following up to get him to reply. Then, he kept coming back saying they 'relooked' at the paint job, after the fact, and more coats were going to be needed for the trim and doors, although we were painting a similar color - that would increase the price. And, additional coats were needed on rooms that were included in the original estimate. Then, they came back and said added materials were going to be needed for one of the bathrooms. How was all this missed with the original estimate?? At this time, I wanted to cancel my contract and go with a different painting company, but he wasted so much of our time that we wouldn't be able to get another company to do the job by the time we needed it at this point.

And, apparently, the job was sub-contracted out to non CertaPro employees. That I wasn't made aware of from the beginning. Then, once the job was done, the contractor sent me photos of the 'finished' job. 2 problems: 1) they painted one of the rooms an incorrect color. When I brought this up they said they'd repaint it asap. They did, but only painted one coat and it looked terrible and washed out. And, 2) somehow they caused a leak in one of the bathrooms, which saturated the carpet in the adjoining bedroom, to which I was told "they'll bring a big fan in to dry it out". That didn't do anything. We had to replace the carpet in the room and when they pulled it up there was a massive water stain on the floor board. And, there were areas that were missed by the painters that I asked them to come out to complete, and never heard back from them.

When we moved in and saw the job in person, there were paint speckles all over the floors, drips in certain areas, and brush marks on hardware. Sloppy for what we paid.

We were originally quoted a job for $12,698, which was competitive and around the same cost as the other quotes we received. That's what I signed up for based on him constantly harassing me. BUT, after all of the 'additional charges' that they decided we needed after the estimate, we paid over $18,000!!!!!

So, I bit the bullet and let it all go. What brought it up to my attention recently, is that we are doing some remodeling in a bathroom. Our contractor pointed out that the paint color that we chose is not what's on the walls and trims. We didn't have any paint that was left from when they painted the house in June, so I had no way to verify this, but we used a computer that shows the colors and it didn't come up with what we asked for, and the paint wasn't matching what we asked for versus what was on the walls and trims.

Certa Pro recently helped paint a new cover for our deck. They were the best price among multiple bids we received and we could not be happier with the work! They showed up and completed the project quickly. I highly recommend them for any painting project you have!

This is the second time I have used CertaPro Painters. The first time I wasn't satisfied with the work but they hung in there to the point where a supervisor sat on my porch and watched the work! Obviously, I was happy enough with them to rehire them for painting some walls to remove dings. While I didn't ask for it, a supervisor came when they finished the work and we walked through the whole project. I'm happy with the result and would hire them again.

Please don’t use this company if you need outside work done! I hired them to repair a small water spot in my master bath closet, repair and paint the trim around both the front and back doors and remove and redo the caulking around all of windows (exterior).

First of all, Max, the estimator, told me that they would sand down the existing caulk and it would look great. Which, come to find out, wasn’t true at all because “they don’t sand caulk” as I was informed later by the project manager, Paula, that came out after the fact. Apparently, none of them talk to each other.

While they did a fine job on the master bath closet ceiling, the rest of the work was crap. Please see the photos of the work that they did, particularly the trim work around the doors and the caulking. When I told them I was not happy with it, they sent a project manager Paula, to my house, who immediately told me that there was nothing wrong with either the trim paint work around the doors (they apparently have an aversion to sanding anything at all, and priming, to create a smooth surface) or the caulking around the windows and that there was nothing they could do about the caulking because the brick was an “uneven” surface. (It took me about 10 seconds to find a YouTube video on how to apply caulking around exterior windows with brick and creating a decent clean line using tape.) She was arrogant and rude and condescending, which I (as well as most people, I imagine) don’t appreciate, especially considering the $.

The trim work around the doors looks like a 5-year-old did it. They scraped off the worst of the previous flaking paint and then painted right over the top of that. No sanding at all, no primer, and not even complete coverage, as there is still raw wood showing at the bottom of the trim (which was why I needed it fixed I the first place, to prevent any water damage from happening). The places underneath the new paint where the previous paint had lifted and flaked are clearly visible under the new paint and it looks terrible. No clean edges at all, no tape, and obviously an inability to cut in any sharp lines. The back door is worse in that the paint is all over the surrounding brick, in addition to all of the same issues that the front door trim has.

The day after the project manager came out to tell me there was nothing wrong with the work they did, Donald? or David? (the owner) called me to tell me that my expectations were “unrealistic” and was also condescending and rude and a bully. He claimed that he had before and after photos to look at and proceeded to tell me that the caulking wouldn’t look good as it was put on over the existing caulk, which wasn’t done well, so there would be lumps and unevenness. Which, if that was done, then that was immediately wrong, since they were supposed to have removed the old caulk before applying the new so he obviously had no idea what he was talking about. The previous caulk had actually been removed by the guy they sent to redo it, so he was 100% wrong on that. I suggested that he needed to physically come and see it in person, but he declined because he had the pictures, which as anyone knows, don’t show the true detail. He was very rude in his “offer” to send someone back over to “attempt to meet my unrealistic expectations”, which I declined because I can do a better job myself and didn’t want them coming back and just making it worse. He obviously didn’t want me to accept his “kind” offer, based on his attitude and tone of voice. His whole attitude was to just get rid of me and not have to do anything else or deal with fixing the mess that his employees created.

So, if your expectations are to have professional results, then you are “unrealistic” and need to contact a different company to do your work because this CertaPro office can’t meet those expectations. Don’t waste your time and money on this company.

I fully expect a rebuttal comment saying that none of this is true based on having dealt with the attitude, but I can guarantee it’s all the truth and I have photos to prove it.

We were very pleased with CertaPro's painting of our 3-BR townhome last week. The paint crew was on time every day (3), detailed, thorough, clean, professional, and courteous. Excellent experience. Recommend to anyone wanting top quality service.
