I have never been more pleased with a company.
The people who did my roof prior was not very good and did a poor job.
CBX put a new roof on after a hail storm wrecked it. The chimneys are now wrapped properly with no leaks. It looks 100 times better than before.
My neighbors are commenting on how wonderful and how much better it looks.
But not just that company was fast and efficient and detailed.
They also were very courteous of my home and trying to work around my family going in and out of their construction site, they were still very kind and patient.
Thanks again to CBX I will recommend this company 100 times over!!!

We had a great experience working with CBX roofs. Our home sustained damage from a hail storm, and we had the shingles on our roof, siding, 2 windows, part of our vinyl fence, and a vinyl gate all replaced. Dylan with CBX coordinated the entire project with our insurance adjuster, kept in contact with us throughout the entire project, kept exactly on budget, and the project was finished within a very reasonable time frame. I definitely recommend CBX roofs, and working with Dylan!

Landon & Kiapo were incredible. In all honesty I have never been in a hail storm in terms of my roof, let alone knew my insurance would cover it. All in all, they handled everything from the insurance debate, to the instalation. I was only out of pocket for my deductible! Great timing because I had a 20yr roof. I was more than impressed.

Come through on all the agreed on. Didn’t go over my deductible. Got my 30k roof for just $1000. Landon was great. Really informative and helpful all along the way.

I was left hanging by another roofing company when I called CBX to help. They kept in constant contact while we set up the job, worked with my insurance company, and replaced my entire roof in one day. It is beautiful! And Landon was a pleasure to work with. Means a lot to a single woman to get such reliable service like this. Call them. You will not regret it!

DO NOT sign their contract! They want to charge you $1k just to cancel. I worked with Kaipo who required a signed contract. They tried to milk our insurance company for more money. They were silent for months at a time. Would not return calls or emails. He LIED and said the work was not warrantied unless they did the whole roof. (Their contract said otherwise.) Finally, after 6 months, gave me a quote on the whole roof (insurance would only pay half). The quote was too high and I wanted to cancel but they got very RUDE. Finally asked to speak with his manager. Received an email the next day saying they WOULD NOT HONOR their part of the contract to do the work the insurance company approved. Wasted 9 months with CBX. They don't even deserve one star.

The customer service was very poor. I dealt with a woman over the phone named Sarah who at first sounded very sweet and nice and then was very disrespectful and raised her voice with me. I was nothing but kind, asking questions and trying to correct her when she was wrong on something. She insisted she was right about everything and I was wrong. I told her to communicate with my insurance since they had been trying to get a hold of CBX and then she hung up on me. When I tried to call back she declined my call. Her attitude towards me very rude and is the whole reason I took my business elsewhere. Hopefully her manager handles it otherwise they are going to lose a lot of business.

Incredibly unprofessional!! We talked with Adam to get our roof done after damage done mid 2020. Then he went RADIO SILENT for months, he wouldn't respond to messages and has the gall to try and charge a cancellation fee for their negligence.
We hired a new contractor and they said that this company does this VERY OFTEN and tries to scare people to fork up money for the cancellation fee. They're scam artists to me.

Reece was my contact at CBX. He deserves a raise, he brought shingle samples to my house twice and helped us make choice on color. He and his crew tore three layers of shingles off, re-roofed our house, and re-roofed our four car detached garage in less than a day. It was not slapped together, the crew of eight men were extremely efficient. No nails, no scraps, perfect clean up before they left.

10/10 would recommend using CBX. Ask for Reece.

I did not have the best experience CBX. In my opinion, the roof looks great but the lack of communication was very frustrating. After the bid was done and the paperwork had been signed, I was not told when the work would begin and they randomly showed up a couple weeks later. It would have been nice to know ahead of time when they would be here. Getting in touch with the project manager was extremely difficult. Calls, texts and emails would go unanswered for days and sometimes weeks. After requesting an itemized list of the work completed, CBX charged for work that was not done. Although the work they did was fine, I would not recommend CBX.

There was good and bad in my experience with CBX. I liked the people I worked with, and my roofing job looks like high quality work, but I experienced a few major issues to share.
1) CBX finished my roof in May 2019 with a written contract and verbal agreement that they would accept what my insurance company would pay as the full payment. They claimed they were experienced at working with the insurance companies. The insurance company determined to not pay 100% of the approximate $21,000 estimate and subsequent total bill, but instead only paid about $17,500 which left $3,500 which CBX at first said I was responsible to pay. Though the contract was very specific that I would never pay more than $500 maximum out of pocket, and that CBX would accept the insurance as full payment, they at first argued that the contract was not really saying that. After a few days they did agree to accept this in full, so they did come thru to honor the contract. My warning is to make sure they follow the terms of the contract when things do not go as planned!
2) Here is the super big issue - we could have literally died from a major mistake! Seven months after my roof was completed, I noticed bubbles forming on my wall paint where the furnace flue pipe was located. I discovered the bubbles had water in them and that I had a roof leak. The roofers had errored in not fully caulking around my furnace flue pipe where it came out of the roof. CBX was diligent to send someone to fix the leak and also replace the wet drywall. When the drywall repair crew opened our wall they found that the roofers had actually pulled up the furnace flue pipe and separated one segment of the pipe from a lower segment and the pipe was fully disconnected. Somehow the gases from the furnace did not escape the drywall and enter our house as we could have been killed from carbon monoxide! We had carbon monoxide detectors that never did sound off - so we were fortunate to be alive and not poisoned by the gas. This was a horrendous mistake on their side!
3) They did fix our wall that was wet from the leak, but my third issue is that we had mold all over the drywall and even on the back side of a bathroom vanity that was on a wall affected by the leak noted above. They did replace the dry-wall (though the contractors had to borrow my tarps and even my shop-vac), but they did not replace my vanity with a new vanity as they determined there was not enough mold on it. We did not want to put a once mold-covered back of our vanity back in our bathroom, so we ended up buying a new one ourselves - which I think a good company would have been more than willing to do in response to such a terrible mistake. They did agree to replace my vanity mirror which they broke as part of removing the dry-wall, but after a month they still have not sent me a check as they promised to pay for the cost of a new vanity mirror. I am tired of working
with them and I figure this is something they are not going to do. They are tough to work with when issues arise!
Bottom line is I would never choose CBX again.

Follow-up note: they did finally send me a check for the mirror replacement.

The entire process with CBX has been miserable. We were doing an insurance claim and the work had to be done within the month, but this was the only company that could guarantee to get it done before the deadline. My bad for waiting too long that we get stuck with this company.

Cam refused to actually give us a quote for the work. The contract says we will pay what the insurance pays, plus the deductible. Ok, that's fine. We had solar panels to have taken off and put back on. That was included in the insurance payment, but was not done by CBX, it was done by the solar company.

The day of the replacement came and everything was fine except they put on the wrong vents. I went out to talk to them, and when I finally found someone I could communicate with, he said the order had turtle vents. The workers left very quick after that, leaving a huge mess. There were soda bottles, clothes, and too many nails to count, left all over the property. They did finally come to install the correct vent, but then left the extra supplies in our driveway for a week.

Then came the bills. They were for more than the insurance ever paid, including the solar panel removal.

These guys have been nothing but a nightmare to work with. If you choose to use them, good luck.

We had our roof replaced through CBX about a month ago. Communication throughout the whole process has been terrible. After getting the insurance check, I patiently waited for a call to schedule replacement. After a week, i called the main office and let a message for Chris, the project manager. I never got a call back. I called again. No call back. I spoke to Cam and he said he would have Chris call me. I never heard from him.

Three weeks later, i heard noises on the roof. Shingles were being delivered to our rooftop. It caught me by surprise so I again called the CBX office, was transferred to Chris, and left him a message. No call back, so I called Cam. He told me he would call Chris and find out what was going on. He then called back to let me know they were doing our roof that day, unbeknownst to us. The dumpster had already been delivered to the driveway so we couldn't get our cars out because we had no idea it was coming.

The actual replacement went smoothly. We told them to remove the satellite dish off the roof. They did, then reinstalled it despite us telling them not to. We are still waiting for them to come remove it and fix the holes they created. In addition, they didnt reattach the heat coil for melting ice, and they ran out of paint to paint the vents, so they are currently blotchy. We are still waiting for them to come finish painting those. We found large quantities of nails, a few beer cans, and some trash in our lawn and flower beds following their supposed clean up as well.

I have called Chris and their offices three times with no calls back. I received the bill for the roof this week, and called Adam (the billing expert). No answer so I left a message. I tried again later that day. No answer. I have not received a call back. So despite my best efforts, their poor communication and inability to follow our requests to complete the project as documented lead me to a rather discouraging feeling about their work.

If I could do it all over again, I definitely would go with a company that communicates, honors their promises, and treats their customers and their property with respect.

I had a great experience working with this company. I called them to inspect my roof prior to calling my insurance company. They worked directly with my adjuster to insure that the necessary funds were available in order to do the job properly rather than adjusting the integrity of their work to fit the adjusters bid. My expectations were high, and my wife and I were fairly demanding as we don't anticipate ever having to do our roof again, we wanted it perfect. I took the day off of work to make sure I was there to watch and answer any questions they might have had. We ended up having to leave before they were finished, but I was amazed at what they had done when I returned home. They surpassed all of my expectations; the finish work, extra touches and attention to some of the details that I had overlooked was far beyond anything I had anticipated or expected. If you are looking for a roofing contractor, call these guys.

They were very responsive! Both Caulin and Adam were great to work with, they left no stone unturned! If I had to do it again I would definitely go through CBX! Thanks guys!

I didn't do my research and while my roof looks good, the professionalism of this company makes me wonder about the quality. They started out nice and helpful and end up disrespectful, rude and unprofessional. All of my neighbors were using them and they seemed satisfied. Once I had signed the contract with them I noticed my neighbors were using a different company. Had I done my research I would have went with that company too as they have amazing reviews and high customer satisfaction. CBX does not care about satisfaction and speaks very condescendingly to you. It's funny because going into this (after I had signed the contract and realized my neighbors changed contractors) I just thought maybe the bad reviews were isolated. With service like we got they won't be in business long. If we were to ever have to deal with a warranty issue it would be a nightmare easier settled in court.

Not reviewing, just observing as I'm looking for a roofing company. All fives and ones. That's not a normal pattern. Poor reviews generally come in a variety of ratings, I've never seen all one's on poor reviews. It sounds to me like somebodies got it in for them. I'm officially ignoring those people and giving these guys a call.

They did a great job on the roof. Reese and Chris were great to address all our concerns and make sure we were happy with the work and the look of the new roof. Reese was willing to put in the time to meet with insurance adjusters and make sure a fair settlement was received and then scheduled the work to meet our needs and schedule. Working with them was a pleasant experience.

Had this company help me through an insurance clam and handle everything with ease! Great company would recommend to anyone! There work was amazing in quality and speed.
