Today July 11, 2025 I had my walk in shower installed by Kent. He did an amazing job and I am very pleased with his work. He was very professional thought the whole process. He also gave me suggestions on where to place the grab bars in the shower. Kent finished up the job he made sure that I was comfortable on how to work the shower.

The entire process from start to finish was easy.
The men doing the install were Dalton, Speedy and the plumber Dylan. They went above and beyond. The house is old so needed some modifications. It was no problem for them. The shower came out awesome. They took care to keep the house clean and cleaned up everything. They were responsible, respectful and professional. But more than that, they were friendly. We made new friends I feel.

What a great experience. From when we first met with Eric, through the installation process with Paul, everything went smoothly and according to plan. Paul arrived right on time, and along with help from the plumber, he finished the job when he told us he would. His quality work and attention to detail are apparent. Overall, we are very satisfied.

We had a walk-in shower installed by Carefree Home Pros in my parents’ 1970’s original bathroom and it was completed with ease and organization in one day. My parents have physical and health challenges and the way they can now easily and safely use the shower has been enormously helpful. Peter first came out to explain the entire process and all of the options and materials. He was very thorough, patient, and kind. The installers were on time, quick, thorough, and professional. I am very pleased with the installation of our new walk-in shower from Jacuzzi and Care Free Home Pros.
From the time we first met our salesman, Jake Dennis, I knew that we would be happy dealing with this company. Jake went over everything with us and gave us a reasonable price including the Costco discount. We did not feel pressured to accept his offer. Ultimately we decided to finalize the offer and the next day we received a call from the manager who went over everything with us.
In a little over a month, we were contacted that they were ready to install our new shower. Nick C. arrived on time and carefully put down a tarp going upstairs. He worked hard until early evening to finish the job beautifully. He took all the old pieces away and cleaned up perfectly. Finally he went over the maintenance of our new shower to keep it in perfect condition.
I would highly recommend using Care Free Home Pros to install a new Jacuzzi shower. With the Costco discount, their price is more reasonable than other companies for the quality you get.

Since we had our new shower installed, my wife’s aunt contacted Carefree Home Pros to get a new shower.
She met with Scott Destromp for information about getting a walk-in shower installed by Care Free Home Pros. He took time to explain everything. Being a senior citizen, she had lots of questions about the installation and cost of removal of the old shower and tub.
Scott was patient and reassured her that she would be pleased with her new shower installation. Once she selected the various components needed,Scott made sure she would be happy. He was in constant contact with her, giving updates until the day the men came to install the shower (June 16,2025).
The work was successfully completed in one day. The workers did a great job and Dalton made sure the shower worked properly. He cleaned up and left the bathroom clean.
She is now very happy.

We had a visit from a great salesman, Matthew from CareFreeHomeProd. We were offered a lower price if we committed the same day. We were happy with the materials and the same day installation. They offer one year with no interest. Just be aware, that it will say your first payment is not due for a year, then there will be interest. Make sure that’s worked out.

Our installer was great! After working all day, Paul stayed late to finish the work. He then went over the job and even recommended a homemade cleaner to keep the walls and doors clean and not scratched.

The biggest problem I have is the shower’s water pressure. I have excellent pressure in the house, in my other bathroom and the kitchen. There’s a device on the shower system that makes the pressure so low that it is almost unusable. I can’t even rinse shampoo out of my hair. I’m very disappointed after all the work and the expense that I can’t use the shower.

So if you want a shower that looks great, go with Jacuzzi via CareFreeHomePros. It’s good for show or resale. If you want a working shower, you might want to look elsewhere.

We had an old and ugly fiberglass shower stall and fiberglass shower and tub removed and replaced with two beautiful CareFreeHome Pros bath systems in one day! I am thrilled and recommend CareFree Home Pros over any other bath system of lesser quality or even traditional tile which requires constant maintenance.

The experienced and talented installer Dalton Daley and his assistant "Speedy" were the best part of this bathroom remodel. Dalton and his co-worker were so professional and respectful of our property. More importantly, Dalton has an impressive range of carpentry skills to properly remove our cast iron tub and prep and install our new shower. The removal of the old materials and the post installation clean-up was exceptional. Dalton is a hard working professional who cares about the customer and the quality of his work. He was able to complete the installation in one day. The plumber was very good too. He removed and redirected a vent pipe and installed our new mix valve and drain in a prompt and professional manner. The product components are way overpriced but the demolition and installation process is top notch. Dalton made it a good remodel experience.

The whole process was very professionally done. Less than 2 weeks after placing the order we were called to schedule a date which was 2 days later. They arrived at 8am with everything needed.
Our Installers, Paul Caruso & Mike along with the Plumber Stan, did a fantastic job.
Paul went over all the materials first, to insure that they were what we ordered and that we approved them before starting.
After, they got right to work on the demolition removing the tub and prepping for the installation. They were very willing to show me every step of the process.
It was completed in ONE day.
When done, Paul Caruso showed us everything we needed to know about the shower and details on cleaning etc.
He went over all the details on warrenty and finalizing the order.
We are extremely pleased with the process and the results.

Really bad customer service. They had a person in Costco advertising the company and he sounded really nice and I need to fix my bathroom so I thought perfect timing. He gives me a number to call and I call and set up a time at 10am Wednesday, the next day I got 3 calls from them confirming the appointment. The day of the appointment i was waiting for them to arrive at 10am and was told the estimator was running late and i said it is fine i can wait. Around 11 i get another call and was asked if i can reschedule and I’ll receive a discount due to the changes, I agree to reschedule at Tuesday 10am. Today I get a call to confirm the appointment and the customer rep asked me a few questions and accused me of not being the owner of the house and I kept telling him I am the owner. After the disagreement, the customer service rep said it is better if we cancel the appointment, I agreed. Their customer service rep is really rude and didn’t appreciate being accused of not being the house of my house whole.

The gentleman from Carefree homes came to our house and started working immediately. They did not stop for two days almost 12 hours each. The boss was Dalton D they were courteous they were clean they were fast and they worked hard. They did a fantastic job, I would recommend this gentleman and his partner, Speedy. Work done fast clean and beautiful thank you.

Although the initial expense was a bit shocking, after I saw what needed to be done (and I know it needed to be done) and they made sure to keep me in the loop so I knew exactly what was going on, it was well worth it. My shower looks beautiful and works excellent. Thank you Mike Cleary.

April 2024 - 4.5 Our installer, Chris H., and his plumber did a great job. Beautiful end result, but I agree with other reviewers of not just Jacuzzi brand contractors, that the price of these shower installs is really overpriced for not even real tile. What was impressive was the plumber, who came to build a new mixing valve in the back of his van. It took some time, maybe even more than an hour, but when he brought it inside to install I asked if I could see it. No joke. All brass. Not the plastic junk that was broken that came with the house, and they threw away. I complimented him on his work.

I should also add this did take two days, not one day as advertised, because this company won't even start to do the aesthetics until they determine what plumbing fixes need to be done. So, this took longer as a lot of amateur tinkering was created to make a "workable" shower before putting the house up for sale by the former owners. They told me they kind of laughed at some of the things that were done. Everything was replaced efficiently and to code with the best materials.

As requested, they did make it larger. I used to laugh at how small the prior shower was and called it "Barbie in a box." To use the old one, always meant banging your elbows, head, knees. A large person could never have showered in it, or at least comfortably.

I also want to note that before hiring CareFree Home Pros as the representatives for Jacuzzi here in my area of CT, I had the absolute worst experience in my life as a consumer with "Long Home Roofing" or one of their other dba names, like "Long Home Baths." What a nightmare. On 7/29/22 their two salesmen came to my home to present. Exceptional job. They do their end of this process and you will agree to paying an abhorrent price for a shower. After that, you're in the weeds.

Months later, the first of what was an occasional pattern, someone would call to say they were coming the next morning so I needed to empty out my entire bathroom, and then right before they were supposed to arrive, a call would come in saying a part was missing, or the custom base ordered was broken and not noticed until the workmen were loading it in the van, or the wrong part was in the right box, etc. and they'd cancel. This went on for almost two years. I finally asked them if this was some kind of ponzi scheme and were they reading from a script? Because, of course, I'd heard all these same excuses over and over. I got a hearty laugh from these comments from the representative. Anyway, do not do business with these people. I did file a complaint with our Department of Consumer Protections which thankfully got my deposit back as they had no intention of returning it.

Back to Jacuzzi reps CareFree Home Pros. I did have to call after another month or two passed since they said they'd be doing the install, and was told the manager said they were still waiting for my glass door to arrive. They came soon after that, and as I said, the two men who did the installation were polite and professional, and the shower is wonderful.

Very happy with the walk-in shower and vanity that Paul and Rich installed. Looks great and they took every opportunity to make a possible setback into a reason to excel at their craft. Would not hesitate to call Carefree for any future work.

I’ve been wanting a tub to shower since I bought my home, everyone involved was so awesome! Customer service, the details, nothing left unturned. I even wanted something added after they were done and they will be out soon. Very accommodating they had to do some things that I wouldn’t even think of like reinforcing the floor from underneath, new pipes and I’m sure other things. He had said they were 3-4 weeks out to install but seriously got it done exactly one week later because they had all of the materials. I’m so happy and my son (12 yo) is sharing the transformation with his friends because of the rainfall shower head! Will definitely recommend them to anyone wanting this done.

When I visited Conn. in March 2024 I contacted Carefree Home Pros to do a full remodel for my parents old bathroom. I'm so glad I had the experience to meet with my salesman Brody Griffin, who exceeded my expectations in helping with the design and layout of a new walk in shower. Due to mobility issues with my father, they were able to create space and access to make it much easier for my aging parents.

The installer Chris had a professionalism about him which made the installation seamless. They were timely and well organized throughout the whole process. They kept my parents up to date in stages, they were able to demonstrate the ease of access by placing grab bars at strategic locations to make it easy and safe to get in and out of the shower.
