We were in the middle of a major home renovation when we decided to remove three large ceiling windows. My contractor said he wasn’t able to remove them and put in the new roofing tiles so the hunt began to find an experienced contractor capable, available, reasonable and reliable of doing the job. Anyone that’s lived on Maui for any length of time knows this is no easy task. I called a long time manager (20+ years) of a condo association who has watched many contractors come and go. Without any hesitation he said to call Michael at Can Can. Naturally I drilled him with all the concerning questions that anyone would ask. He confirmed Michael was the guy I needed. So I called Michael and was surprised that he responded later that day. Another unusual trait for Maui. We discussed the project over the phone and set a time for him to meet with me to look at the situation. Michael was there, on time as promised. So far I’m impressed. He looked over the home, offered a reasonable price and scheduled the job within the scope of my existing renovation. Michael’s crew was prompt, completed the job on schedule and without any issues. It’s been ten years now since Can Can did my job. Maui has had many, many heavy rain storms and I’m happy to say that everything is as good as new. The reason I’m writing this now is I’m looking at another home to do a full renovation. Michael is the first person I thought of. I called him and we set the appointment. Again, no surprise. Michael was prompt and we are reviewing the project. To close this out, I highly recommend Michael and his company Can Can.
All the projects Mike complete for me where very challenging from painting, stucco repairs, roof repairs, tile repairs, granite countertops and cabinets. Not sure if there is a project that would not match one of his skill sets.
