Campbell Siding

Campbell Siding replaced our old siding with hardie planks on the first level and vinyl siding on the 2nd story. They replaced the fascia and soffit, probs of our roof and installed all new windows. One reason I chose them was because they were one of the few companies that were knowledgeable about both Hardie and vinyl and were willing to use the hardie and windows which we had already purchased. Other companies insisted that we purchase from them. They took the time to repair problems that had been created by previous contractor's shoddy work, even though it slowed down the work. Our house looks great and we are very pleased with the job that Cory and Josh did. He did not show up on time. Then decided to start when he wanted & end when he wanted. Then excuse after excuse. I took off work for him to do the work he didn't show up until after 8 or left early before 12. Then his worker josh did not finish the tarp paper above my garage or cut through it. Did not finish shingles. The storm came. Welp guess what it leaked & had a hole in my ceiling in my garage. Horrible work. Just sloppy work. Then didn't clean up all the nails around my property. I'm still cleaning them up 2 weeks later. Plus I work from home and he was not respectful to me at all! I'll never recommend him!

Cory agreed to do work for my 80 year old mother in 2021. He came and did a couple things for her. She was pleased with what he did. He told her he needed half of the money upfront to finish the work. She felt like they had formed a trusting relationship, and agreed to give him the money. She gave him 8243.80. He never came back after he took the money. She is going through cancer treatments, and he knows that, but doesn’t seem to care about the added stress this has put on her. She messaged him at least once a month. His answer was always, I’ll be there next week or in a couple weeks, but he never came. She even offered to pay him a little more money because she knew the price of things had gone up since he wrote up the contract. My brother reached out to him and told him that he either needed to do the work or give her money back to her along with the windows that he said he special ordered. He contacted mom and said he would bring her money and the windows the following Friday. Again, he lied. We decided it was time to give him a final chance to do the right thing. I sent him a certified letter, stating that he needed to return her money, windows, and an itemized statement of anything he had spent her money on. I told him we didn’t want to do anything to hurt his business, we just wanted him to make things right. I explained that the money he took from her was almost a years income for her. I told him that if he wouldn’t do what is right by not only a 80 year old woman, but an 80 year old going through cancer treatments that he should be ashamed of himself and that he wouldn’t be contacted by us again. I let him know that if he didn’t return the money, windows, and itemized statement by 2/28/23, we would take whatever steps we needed to help her. I feel bad that I’m having to post this, but he didn’t give us a choice. We will also be taking other legal steps against him.
Cory, all you have to do is make things right with her. It has been over a year and a half since she gave you the money. I’ll happily remove this review if you take care of this promptly. Please don’t force us to go forward with the next steps that I told you we would take. We have no interest in ruining your business. We are just trying to protect our mother and as I told you, we will take every legal action available to fight for her.
