In May of 2024 I contacted multiple companies to come and give us estimates on a quaint home that I purchased in 2023. I was given quotes all over the place. I even was asked by other contractors if I would be willing to go over the two layers of siding. I drove by a home in Mystic and saw a house that was being transformed into a beautiful home. I contacted Calvary and they came out within a few days gave me multiple suggestions on what I can do to stick within my budget things that other contractors didn’t even suggest. So we spent the entire summer stripping our home, replacing wood and by September 2024 we were ready for Calvary to come and finish the job. They were here for about a week the crew was simply amazing as well as Doc and Scott. We went with Seagrass as a color of my choice. Calvary took a quaint family home that I purchased from my father and turned it into a beautiful Cape Cod home that holds precious memories. We have had so many compliments durning this process from neighbors that have lived in this neighborhood for 30 years or more and have waited so long to see this happen. Calvary put my mother who is no longer here with me into this home and treated it with such dignity and respect. I can not thank the entire team for working with us to make a dream come true.

I contracted with Calvary Remodeling to replace all my windows, siding and gutters. The experience from beginning to end was excellent. Craig is a great communicator. I knew what was happening at all points in the process. Craig came out, listened to what I wanted, took measurements, made a some very good suggestions and was able to provide me with an estimate on the spot followed up by a formal quote within 24 hours. His estimate as to when the materials would come in and when work would begin was spot on.

The crew was excellent! They were professional, courteous, and extremely productive! I couldn't believe how much they accomplished so quickly. And the results are phenomenal! I could not be more pleased with the way my house turned out! Craig was on site every day to ensure that everything was running smoothly. I felt 100% confident that if I had any issues, I could get a hold of Craig and it would be addressed quickly and professionally.

I am 100% satisfied with Craig Margiano and Cavalry Remodeling and I recommend his firm without hesitation. My home needed windows and siding replaced along with structural improvements and water damage repairs.
Mr. Margiano was very easy to work with. He showed up for appointments, responded to all communications promptly and when I could not get others to follow up or even respond with a proposal, he showed up with his best foot forward. He came back with recommendations for quality products and when questioned, was able to explain his reasoning. He guided me on style, but let me decide and make changes.
He got the work done to my satisfaction, on schedule and within budget. His experience and professional opinions informed me on what to expect and where the potential problems might be. There were no "surprises." When his team showed up, he made sure to come every day as well and 'proof' the work.
Most important, I did not have to micromanage his team or explain to them once again, what I asked for, contracted and expected. The prices we agreed on are the prices I paid.
During the final walk around, there were a few little details we identified together and he sent someone back promptly to complete the adjustments without excuses or complaints. You can have confidence in his honesty and integrity, quality of work and commitment to your satisfaction.

Calvary Remodeling just did a full exterior revitalization of our beach house and garage- New roof, new skylights, all new windows, new doors, new siding. From the moment of initial contact to the finished product, Craig was honest, available, responsive, and obsessive to detail! They only use quality products and do beautiful workmanship. The crew is very experienced and dedicated and it shows. They worked through multiple snowstorms and on weekends! Craig gave honest advice about where to spend money and where to save. He never tried to upsell; in fact, he was always concerned about saving us money. The neighbors are thrilled & continue to compliment our house and Craig & Co's work. My only regret is that I don't have another project to start with Craig right away. I recommend him without reservation.

Working with Craig from Calvary Remodeling on my new siding was a breath of fresh air! I have been a Town Utility Manager for 30+ years and customarily oversee projects ranging in price from $1,000 - $1,000,000. During that time, I have learned two important things. Get people that have the right skill set for the project and get a project manager that treats the job like it’s his own. The men from Calvary had top notch skills and Craig doesn’t miss a beat! He was honest, present, personable, responsive and I feel truly cares for his clients and the Happiness They feel at the end of his job. We worked together for a long time to come up with the perfect color combination to re-side our home with new vinyl siding, gutters and installing three new slider Anderson doors.

Craig was always willing to stop over
(many times ) and work with us on our design and it never felt rushed. He was patient and worked hard to ensure that our needs were met and that we loved our finished project from the start to the end.

His crew were also great. They ALL worked so hard and did a meticulous job. They were all aware that we have a 3 year old Daughter and a dog and every night picked up our yard leaving nothing behind.

Craig came to our home every day during the process and sometimes more than once to ensure what we were happy with the job and to be present with managing the job.

Calvary did a fantastic job siding my home. I was blown away by the guys work ethic, professionalism and attention to detail. Work ethic - they showed up on time or early and they left early evening (6:30-7:00pm!). The guys were very polite, cleaned up on daily basis and the craftsmanship was amazing. Never thought I'd be obsessed with a dryer vent, pic attached as the attention to detail is crazy. I also appreciated the fact that the estimate was in fact the total cost - no 'price creep' .

I had my very run-down house re-sided and replaced 4 front windows, and you would not believe how fantastic it looks now. They had to rebuild the front wall by my dining room due to water damage, and it still took only 3 days!

Calvary replaced the vinyl siding on our house in December. The price was lower than other contractors and they did a great job. They are hard working guys and worked all day long with barely a break for lunch. They installed our new light fixtures on the outside of the house and left a clean yard when they were finished. I would definitely recommend them to anyone who is looking for new siding and/roofing.

Craig was courteous, professional, friendly and his crew knows their craft! He came out to the house and within 40 minutes he had a precise estimate for the work I wanted done. He stood by his work, he followed up every week after the job was done for 6 weeks to make sure that I was totally happy. He is honest, hardworking and his prices are very fair.

The easiest way to say this is, if you have a siding or other home remodeling job you need done, choose Craig Margiano and Cavalry Remodeling. That’s it! Craig and his team just completed a complete siding job on our mid-60’s house and from top to bottom, start to finish, everything was done with complete perfection.

From the day we first met Craig, we figured we would end up with him. But to be sure, we did what any good consumer does and got multiple estimates. We made sure they all had valid licenses, and checked their complaints at the state and BBB. One ended up telling us they had no time to do the job, two weeks after coming out. Two others, wanted much more money for the same product or products of less quality. One, a major company, was at the same price as Craig that we had used for a window job, but we had no ability to know in advance, or talk with who would be doing the work.

Craig came out to the house 2 or three times to talk with us and go over options on colors, style, etc. He provided pages of references for us to call or visit to see his work. He answered every email, call or text without delay.

We selected CertainTeed double 4" clapboard for the sides and back of the house in Sterling Grey. For the front we went with their Cedar Impressions shake shingle vinyl siding in single 7" driftwood. The shake shingles have a varied color that is not just a surface treatment, the colors go through the entire depth of the product and it looks amazing.

There is artistry in everything and the crew at our house, especially the lead man, were true artists. Instead of standard J-channels around the windows and doors, they custom bent J-channels into the trim, to provide the wider, picture frame style we wanted. Even the covering for the A/C piping was custom bent from aluminum trim that matched the color of the siding. Every detail was paid attention to, and if they had a question on how we wanted something done, they asked us and took our input. If we noticed something not quite right, it was corrected immediately. Before the siding job, we had our front steps demolished and replaced with a new precast set. The new stairs were a foot narrower than the originals and it created a special challenge to ensure the exposed areas were covered correctly. The result was beautiful and it looks like it was built that way. Part of our job required them to partially dismantle some railings on our deck to get at part of the house. They carefully took it apart and when done, they reassembled it perfectly and even more securely than it was before.

Craig was in touch and onsite every day to ensure the crew was doing the job right and to our satisfaction. He answered every text, email or call, almost immediately. The crew cleaned up every day leaving the yard as clean as before. Even on days with light rain, they showed up and worked as much as they could and put in 9-10 hours a day. There was a delay in some of the supplies from the company, but the crew worked on the rest of the house in the meantime.

The end result is a house that looks like it was just built and is the most beautiful house on the street. See the before (red) and after photos (grey). We could not be happier with Cavalry Remodeling and highly recommend Craig and his teams if you are looking to have work done.
