Awesome Roofing, Siding & Windows – Right Here in Groton!

Honestly, I thought this company only did huge commercial projects, but they still took on my house in Groton—and I’m so glad they did.

They replaced my roof, installed all new siding, and upgraded my windows, and it came out way better than I expected. The crew was super easy to work with—on time, respectful, and really knew what they were doing. No mess, no hassle, just solid work from start to finish.

My house looks brand new. The roofing job was clean and solid, the siding gave the place a fresh look, and the windows have already made the house warmer and quieter. You can tell they used good materials and actually care about the quality.

If you're in the Groton area and need roofing, siding, or window work, give these guys a call. They treated my project like it mattered, even though it wasn’t a big development. I’d hire them again in a heartbeat.

Altin and the entire Advanced team were an absolute delight to work with. Our project may have been small, in the companies eyes, but they never made us feel like ours wasn’t a top priority. They took the time to answer every question we had and responded promptly to every concern we brought up. We were never made to feel like our questions and concerns were silly or not valid. Advanced construction assembled a group of engineers,architects and experienced staff for this project. From initial site evaluation to the final design ,the design team were great to work with and never "dropped the ball".
As this is my first project with this team ,I felt accepted and encouraged during the working stages. Perseverance and quality of work made the final product a great location and an opportunity to respect pedestrian and vehicular traffic.

Advanced Group was very professional working on resurfacing our deck. They came up with an ingenious solution to the problem of accessing the basement hatchway under the deck surface: a section of decking is on rollers. We also hired them to repair the kitchen ceiling, again an excellent job.

Advanced Improvements just finished roof, siding, gutter and exterior trim work replacements on our house and we love it all. They arrived on schedule each day and cleaned up every evening - no nails lurking in the lawn. We were impressed with the great attention to precision and detail by their crews and super job boss Altin who answered all our questions and made sure everything was done right. Our house now looks great, but more than that we’re happy to know that all the hidden issues in the old sheathing, roof and exterior seams are gone!
Advanced Improvements did a great job on my father-in-law’s house 10 years ago and they’re just as good now. We would choose them again.

If I could give him negative stars, I would the owner would not take responsibility or contact us back. We dealt with Kevin one of the lead sales people there, and he subcontract us and never paid us for work agreed-upon. When asked for reasoning, we was given multiple excuses and false promises and more lies. The whole team is unprofessional and unreliable. Would not recommend these people to my enemy.

Management was not committed to provide accurate quote, provided a "text response quote" that was not specific to our actual needs, and know we had a deadline bank apt the following day! Then, avoided and ignored all our contacts to get clarity on what he texted? This after meeting with us an knowing all the time lines to meet our needs and when we need project started and finished. Seems to be too busy, does not need our money, and communicates on his terms...only.

This is the second project I have had the Advanced Group complete for me. The first was my deck which took some creative work to make it exactly how I wanted. That was 10 years ago and it is my favorite part of my home.

I recently decided to put up a privacy fence about 200 feet long. Again, from planning to completion, the experience was exceptional.

The crew worked efficiently and asked for my input and approval throughout the process.

My yard was left in better shape than it probably was when they started. Everything was cleaned up and raked and ready-to-go.

I love that I have a go-to company that I trust to be fair, keep me updated and be sure that I am happy with the finished product.

I like to wait a little bit before writing a review because I feel anything "new" is great at first. With that said, Advanced put an addition our house a little over a year ago. Here are the positives-I love half our addition. The bathroom, two bedrooms, the size of the windows is great. I also have nothing but awesome things to say about the crew. They were absolutely fantastic. Here are the negatives-one of our bedrooms was designed so small that you can't fit a double bed in it. According to the blue prints, you are able to, but in reality, the only way to fit a double bed is if you don't want to open a door. I also dislike our windows very much. We didn't realize that casement windows meant crank out. We expressed this concern, but it was too late. So because of this kind of window, we have no way to put an AC in the summer time. We live in a cape and this past summer it was 95 degrees upstairs. We now have to spend more money to add some kind of cooling system since regular AC's won't work. The screens are also very flimsy. Having young kids, I'm more worried about them falling out of the window than I was before. Another negative was during construction, the crew was pulled to other projects quite a bit, which meant our project was put on hold. Well that wasn't so pleasant when it rained and our roof wasn't complete. We had to contact them numerous times are the roof leaking, in fear we would end up with water damage on our first floor. I would recommend Advanced if you have a top dollar project. I would not recommend Advanced to the average Joe.

I dealt with Bill O'Donnell who works with roofs and decks and he is fantastic. He takes the time to listen to what you want and doesn't pressure you or try to talk you into more than what you really need. The job will be top notch and the price will reflect the workmanship you demand for a great job.

Pat McAneeny is the best! His work is perfectly skilled and beautiful. They do wonderful work you will be happy with.

We recently had Advanced Improvements come in to finish our basement. To start, the quote that they gave was much lower than others we had received. Once we decided to have them move forward, a time frame of 20 days was given. On the first day they brought in a large crew and knocked out a tremendous amount of work, ultimately finishing their work in less than 10 days. Not only was it quick and affordable, but the quality is exceptional! Thank you David Preka and your team!

Run!!! That, in a word, sums up Advanced Improvements. I have no doubt that all those good reviews are from people who got phone calls from the owner, David, asking them to write a good review in exchange for a little off the enormous bill for the work done. And don't expect good work, either. Thankfully, we knew a contractor who came over to fix the things they did poorly on an addition they did for us. I stupidly hired them around the same time, to enlarge our main bathroom as a surprise for my spouse when we got back from a trip. We came home after two weeks to find our bathroom empty, except for the bathtub, and freshly laid floor tile. It took them from the first week in October to Dec. 24th to finally finish this simple bathroom project. Oh, and many phone calls to get people to come out & continue the project. I, not having gotten other estimates (my big mistake) and not knowing any better, way over paid not only for all of the work they did at our rental property, but also for enlarging our bathroom by 2' and adding a larger tub. They also never bothered to get final inspections on the jobs, so now we're stuck doing that, two years later. I wouldn't recommend these guys to my worst enemy. And yes, we've been called by David to "work things out" and he had piss poor excuses for all the delays & cost over runs. Do yourself a favor, and look elsewhere for remodeling. If you hire these guys, you'll be VERY sorry you did.

I was given a fair bid on a siding job by Advanced. Due to another contracter out bidding Advanced Improvements another contractor received the job. Had I known that Advanced Improvements was the honest and superior bid I would have gone with them. Sometimes an elderly lady can not trust some contractors to tell the truth. I wish now that I had Advanced Improvements win my job. Advanced Improvements will give you an honest price and superior workkmanship.

We hired Advanced to build a new house for us. The crew came every morning and stayed until it was to dark to work. We have had several homes built and Advanced was by far the most efficient and organized. They cleaned up the outside and the inside every day even in the cold weather.

Also, even 2 years after the house was built David sent his crew back to fix minor siding damage from the tropical storm and did not charge me even though he had 2 people working on it for 3 hours. It is rare that you get that type of service

I hired Advanced Improvements LLC to redo a kitchen. I have worked with many home improvement companies in the past, and generally those experiences have been frustrating and disappointing. Advanced was the complete opposite, they were very professional and finished the job ahead of schedule all the while paying close attention to detail. I have also hired Advanced to make roof repairs and other minor repairs and always been extremely pleased.
I would not hesitate to use Advanced again and I highly recommend their services.
