Great company. Elmer replied right away, came by to inspected our inoperable attic fan, made recommendations, and offered a fair price. I asked if he could also give us a bid on replacing the 26+ year old roof, a future project. Based on his positive ratings, the quality of the material, and the reasonable price we agreed to do both. I recently got the roof at my house replaced by Elmer at Calderon Contractors. Elmer came to my house, went up the roof, and did a thorough check. He noticed that the pitch of my gutter was not correctly set, causing water to accumulate. He explained to me the need for ridge vents and intake vents. He came back to me with a reasonably priced quote with a 10 year warranty on labor and a manufacturer's lifetime warranty from Certainteed. The Calderon team were at the property on the scheduled date and completed the job in a professional manner. Throughout the process, Elmer was very responsive to my questions and I was very happy with the overall experience.

I recently had Calderon Contractors fix a roof leak and the were amazing. Elmer came to inspect and provide a quote the same day and returned over the weekend to complete the work. We had a leak in our attic and we worked with Calderon Contractors to repair it. After we first noticed the leak, we had a number of contractors come by to hear their recommendations. We appreciated Elmer's professionalism, honesty, and the fact that he listened to what we wanted to do with this project. Of the contractors we had come by, only a few (including Elmer) gave us their honest recommendation that we didn't need to replace our roof and they could simply fix the leak; several contractors tried to convince us to replace the entire roof, which we didn't want to do and was a red flag for us since other contractors had told us that a roof replacement wasn't necessary. Elmer and his team fixed the leak in our roof for a fair price, following up with us to ensure we were satisfied with the work they did.

We were impressed with the quality of the work Calderon Contractors did for us, so we hired them again a few months later to clean our gutters, which they did a good job with too.

We have used Calderon Contractors about 3 times now to fix leaky parts of our roof, as well as to replace a skylight. They have pointed out where the contractor hired by the home’s previous owner took shortcuts, and have been great about fixing those problems. They are punctual, efficient, and make sure to clean up after their work. One time, when they accidentally caused some minor drywall damage while doing roof repairs, they came back to fix it free of charge. I would be happy to use their services again in the future.

Amazing work, the team was very vice and professional, I had my roof and gutters replaced. Elmer was great to work with! My chimney had been leaking and Elmer climbed on to my roof and immediately saw what the problem was. He knew that my roof was relatively new (which I didn’t know) but shortcuts had been taken by the previous roofer/owner. He scheduled my project early because I had an active leak and sent me pictures of what they did up there. It rained heavily today and I saw no further signs of leakage. I would totally utilize their services again for future projects!

Elmer and the rest of his team did a fantastic job fixing our patio/back room roof, patio, and inside room from the bad rain and freeze event that happened around Christmas '22. We had rain water enter a leak in the roof of our back room - the roof of that room was a masonry roof porch deck. The leak destroyed dry wall in the room below. Elmer and his team was the best quote we got. They were able to tear up the old masonry roof; put down a new, reliable roof; put down a new porch; and completely fix the dry wall, installation, and paint in the room below all in just 3 days! There was a glitch in the initial scheduling, but Elmer set a second schedule date and his men, Sergio and assistant came early and did a great job, showing me pictures of the completed work when finished and explaining facets of the work done. He's very friendly and responsive, and is available over text which is highly appreciated. His quote was the lowest amongst the roofers we checked with, which is wonderful. I hired Mr Elmer Calderon to replace my 110 year old metal roof earlier this year. I had been in search of a roofing expert when I was surreptitiously referred to Mr Calderon by a roofing specialist for Sears. (Sears doesn't do metal roofs.) Over a period of months prior to Calderon, several roofing specialists made offers significantly higher than Mr Calderon's, but for an inferior product. In fact, I was so discouraged by the cutthroat contractors that I had all but given up on replacing my vintage metal roof. That is until Mr Calderon came with a bid that was not only significantly less than the $50K estimated by his competitors, but he actually went beyond the original contract by adding a solar fan, skylight, and he installed a ventilation system for my new gas stove. (He also attached the roof ornament himself.) My new roof is not only a work of art, but it has provided additional security from the elements and an extra layer of protection in this age of extreme weather. Plus it's beautiful and strong as hell too. The three layers that make up this new steel roof dampen external noise and provide a level of protection akin to a helmet. I love everything about this roof especially now that it’s getting cold and I can see how I am also saving on my utility bill. Let me conclude with a few words about Mr Calderon the man: He didn't make any false promises. He was true to his word. He was prompt, courteous, extremely competent, and most importantly -- he was honest. He made what would have been a very challenging project a masterwork. His work crew complimented his work ethic in every way. I can't honestly say enough about this man and his team. I marvel at my beautiful steel roof which I believe will protect my historic home for another century. In short, if you are looking for a high quality steel metal roof that will last generations, for a new or existing structure, give Mr Calderon a call. I recommend him highly.

My gutters were not attached well on the home I'm in and this caused water to leak into my bedroom window. Out of all of the contractors I contacted, Mr Calderon was one of the most professional and even set up a temporary fix when he came out for the inspection!
Although I ended up choosing someone else because of my limited budget, I feel good in recommending Mr Calderon based on his assessment of my damage and his willingness to help me.

Calderon Contractors LLC provided phenomenal service to our new home. I give my highest recommendation for this company. The owner, Elmer, was extremely nice and accommodating to our situations and expedited request on our new home. From the start, Elmer was clear on what his team can provide. He was able to meet with me on weekends to provide roof samples and conduct the roof inspection. When Elmer provided the estimate and contract details, and I was thoroughly impressed by the detail and specs provided in his documentation. Compared to other roofers and contractors I’ve interviewed, his paperwork stood as the gold standard. During our face-to-face visit, he was frank and upfront regarding contingency costs (i.e. replacing plywood, etc), but remained open to negotiating the price after the roof was complete. Furthermore, his recommendation for roof longevity extended beyond just shingle samples. After an earnest discussion, he convinced me to install gutter guards once he explained the full extend of its use. He was able to complete 2400 sq foot roof (with deep pitches) in two days and fully install & replace the gutter system in 1 day. His co-worker, Hector, arrived as early as 7 am in 30 degree weather just to start stripping the roof. All of the roofers were expeditious and conscious of our needs to get this job done ASAP without compromising the quality of work. Moreover, on the second day of roof work, inclement weather was forecasted (rain). Hector and Elmer worked tirelessly to get the roof done. Upon the roof’s competition, prior to the rainstorm, Elmer provided top-down video tour of the roof, giving me a peace of mind that no unforeseen leaks will occur due to incomplete work. Remarkable work on the clean-up; Elmer physically toured with me around the residence premises to ensure all trash and materials were removed. Calderon Contractors were polite, fast, and thorough. Outstanding work.
