If I could leave less than 1 star, I would. I purchased my 2018 sonata from this place a little over a year ago. Only a few months after having it, I noticed the paint on my trunk started chipping off. Within the next week it was fully flaking off. I looked up the year/model/paint color of this car and SO MANY results popped up of other people having the same experience. Luckily for them, their dealerships were willing to help and fix the issue. If only I had the luxury of having that experience.
Once the flaking started I called and of course, the man I got my car from no longer worked there. I spoke to who I am assuming was a manager and he told me to contact a Hyundai dealer and see if they could help. He didn’t offer any help from there and just gave me a “call Hyundai” and *dial tone*. I was frustrated but I called a Hyundai dealership near where I live and they were sympathetic but told me I would have to deal with where I purchased my car from; I didn’t purchase my car from them or they would’ve done more. Further frustrated, I called this place again and, again, asked to speak with a manager. I explained that since the paint falling off of my car is of NO FAULT OF MY OWN that they should practice good and decent customer service and fix the paint chipping. As of now, half of the paint on my trunk has flaked off and it’s stared above left passenger side door. I told the manager that had they made me aware of the paint defects with this year and model sonata I NEVER would have purchased this car. Never. The man I spoke with on the phone was no help at all, dismissed my complaints and concerns, and told me he would “take my message and someone would be in touch”, that has been weeks ago and still, no one has called me. I was given the run around, dismissed and forgotten because it’s not their car anymore and they could care less about my experience. Apparently ignoring a customer and refusing to do anything to help is how they like to treat people. My car looks horrible (about as decent as their customer service skills) and they do not care.
Do not go here! Once they have your money they will not care about you as a customer and they will not be willing to help you if anything were to happen with your vehicle. Go anywhere else with your time, money and business.
