Burch's has done multiple projects for me and family including a driveway, sprinkler system, grading, and flower bed preparation. They are always prompt, professional, and do a great job.

I needed help to keep my backyard from flooding. Burch came out and gave me a written, DETAILED quote on the spot. I was waiting to hear back from another company. That dude was 3 days late in emailing me a quote and contained no details whatsoever. Burch even came back out to answer questions. I was very impressed. I'll recommend Burch's Landscaping any day of the week and will be using them for future projects.

Fantastic from start to finish. The team ripped out some stubborn tree roots,topped off the holes with a professional grade top soil and filled a river rock bed and some large planters. Will definitely be having them back for future work.

We had some standing water and drainage issues on the back and side of our house. Mr. Burch was quick to come out, offer a solution, and give us a quote. They came out 2 days later and installed over 300 ft of 4 inch pipe, a french drain in the back, tied 4 gutters into the drain, installed 2 12 inch catch basins, and regraded the yard slightly. As others have stated, the top soil had some junk in it, but I took a rake and cleaned it myself. Eddie and his team worked hard the 3 days they were here and Mr. Burch kept good communication throughout on where they were in the project. I waited for a big storm before posting to make sure everything worked, and it fixed all the issues. Thank you for your expertise, the great communication, hard work, and fair price!

From the first call, this company was on the ball! Burch and his crew did what they said they'd do. They kept the cost down. Showed up early. And did a fantastic job! Don't waste your time calling other companies. Just call Burch.

--Update. Guys came put cleaned up all the mess. So since they made it right im going 4 stars. 1 star taken off from that driver digging holes and spinning non stop.

Edit-- just talked to owner. Crew is supposed to come out and clear everything out. If done will update to 5.

Ordered 3 truck loads of top soil. I wish all 3 loads were just top soil. Plastic bottles, bricks, rocks, golf balls, pebbles, roots galore. This is not fresh top soil. Not to mention had to fill parts of the yard/grass where the driver spun his tires out. It's one thing to not be able to get into an area but it's another to sit there and keep spinning tires over and over till the tire is over a quarter deep in the ground. Never again. These pictures aren't even a quarter of what we have to dig out. Very very unhappy.

We purchased our home in December of 2022 and our backyard was washing away after having two live oaks removed. We went from a deep pothole ridden muddy grass/dirt driveway to a beautifully executed crusher run driveway all the way up to the stairs so now no more muddy boots coming into the house after heavy rainstorm. We love it. They did an excellent job in a very quick time frame for a very reasonable price.

Burch's landscaping is a very reputable business m I've always been a satisfied customer and the job's have included taking a sand private road converting it to a hard gravel road eliminating large pot holes and major dust from accumulating everywhere. Thank you for the gravel road. They also installed concrete side walkways and slabs around my house. They installed pine straw barrier with black paper to ensure water drainage from my roof runs away from my home. They installed a drainage system for my water softener system as well. Burch came out to see my drainage ditch and culvert problems. He knew what I wanted to do, gave me an estimate and I hired him. Burch was all about making sure I was happy with what he was doing and anything I wanted to do. Excellent work Burch and crew!

Burch and team were great to work with. Did everything and more in grading our yard, spreading topsoil, and seeding our front yard. Would definitely recommend Burch’s to anyone. I am planning to use them again next spring to complete our front yard improvements.

We recently purchased a new construction home and worked with Burch to grade our backyard, and remove debris and trash the contractor left. Burch installed two new sprinkler zones and upgraded our sprinkler controller. His crew does concrete work and extended our driveway. We loved the work and couldn't be happier. Burch and his crew were very professional, gave realistic timelines, and made sure we were satisfied with the work before departing.

Fast forward a couple of months- we had a break in our sprinkler system with water gushing from an elbow joint near a solenoid. I called Burch and he and his crew showed up afterhours within 45 minutes to fix the broken piping. They check the system and ensured there were no more leaks.
We are thoroughly happy with Burch's landscaping & irrigation and plan to use them again to fix a drainage issue if the home contractor can't fix it. Highly recommend!!

Simply the best! If you need a job accomplished properly the first time and on time, contact Burch's Landscaping & Irrigation Inc. They were able to survey my site, provide a quote, draft a contract and complete the job all in one week! We had roughly four cubic yards of 3-4" river rock removed and twenty-eight tons of dirt delivered and graded. In all honesty, for a company with a busy schedule (that's a good thing!), they excel at managing projects efficiently and effectively, and providing superb customer service. Going forward, I plan to use Burch's Landscaping & Irrigation Inc. for all my landscaping and irrigation needs.

Burch has done a few jobs for me. Cleared underbrush, repaired dam, taken down trees, and poured a concrete slab.

First off Burch is very easy to work with to a point.

Positive: Very timely and prices seem reasonable with work to be accomplished. Workers are very friendly and Eddie, in particular, really works well with customers.

Negative: Post sprinkler installation support if a sprinkler head is out of adjustment is not really there. Being told after the fact that they only install and don’t do post install support is irritating.

One has to learn on the fly to fix a problem or call another company to assist when it’s beyond your (collectively) experience level.

Hi Mr Burch. I wanted to thank you so so much for sending Ronnie with the topsoil today. We were able to put all the mats over the wet areas so he had not problem, but I never know when Duke Energy will be coming to get those. Could be tomorrow and then there is not way the truck could have dumped it where he did. He dumped it perfectly so that now I don't have to wheelbarrow it to create the bed for three large trees. When you said that you could come today, I was so happy about the timing ! But then Ronnie told me that with all the people working around their homes, topsoil is at a premium. Thank you for treating me fair. You are the best person I have dealt with since moving here. You always call back and make things happen. Today was an example of a super business person. You said "Hold on. Let's start this conversation again..." so politely that I knew you wanted to treat me fair and are a detail person. I wanted to plant these trees myself because I am kind of particular having been in the landscape business myself, but if I knew that someone like you was around here, I would have preferred to have you do it it think from our conversations.
Anyhow, I just wanted to let you know how much your service is appreciated. I will take pictures of the trees now and then later, when they take root and grow in your beautiful soil.

Called Mr. Burch for an estimate on an irrigation system. He came out in 30 minutes and gave me an estimate. Very quick to come out. The job was completed within a week. Excellent job, his employees are very good at what they do. His price was good and this is the 2nd time he has completed work for me. He installed my sod 2 years ago. Sod looks great.

whatever is needed Burtch can and will work it out. it only took 2 days for crowning, leveling, grading, seeding, timer upgrade and sprinkler zone installations. I am very pleased.

Burch's landscaping is the best I've dealt with in Sumter! More than reasonable pricing and knows Foxcroft Subdivision well. He helped fill a sinkhole in my yard with little notice and fit me into his already busy schedule. I'll definitely be working with Burch's Landscaping in the future!

Outstanding job from estimate to completion and follow-up. We had them come out and replace an old, falling-down fence with a big, new, fence. They sent out two experts who worked two days to build the best looking fence I've ever seen. This thing will withstand gail force winds and an out-of-control truck! My family has used them for 4 or 5 projects now and we are always happy!
