The BBB Team was hired by the sellers of the house I just bought to correct inspection defects. They performed the electrical work correctly, but due to a previously undisclosed issue (to me or them) the issue reoccurred once I took possession. They jumped right on it as if it was a workmanship issue, and even absorbed the cost of the initial hour of troubleshoting. In the end, they corrected the ROOT CAUSE quickly and reasonably! It's nice to see that accountability and credibility still mean something on this day in age! Thanks Dave Anthony, Smithfield VA.

Very pleased with the quality of work that Built by Babb did at our house. We had a roof, gutters and facia trim replaced. They also did several repairs that were necessary to the roof deck. Pricing was reasonable and competitive. We would definitely recommend this company!

I recently hired Built by Babb to repair the ceiling in my bedroom after part of it collapsed due to a roof leak, and the experience exceeded all my expectations. They removed the damaged plaster and lathing, installed new drywall, painted, and even installed a ceiling fan. The entire team worked with remarkable skill, and the finished product is perfect!

Built by Babb did such and amazing job on ceiling damage we had around our fireplace and then come to find out roof needed to be replaced which probably needed after being in our house for 27 years. Johnny and his crew replaced our roof also. We highly highly recommended Built by Babb. We will be utilizing him in near future.

Met John and his team when our SBA loan required a licensed contractor to work our project. To say he saved us is an understatement. He converted a Title Loans facility into a beautiful bakery and made my wife’s dream a reality! Great work, timely and on budget! Called & had an appointment for an estimate for multiple projects my husband & I wanted done to our house on 5/21/24. He came & received his $250 told me it would be about 2 weeks before I would receive it. No problem. We understood it could take a while. Mention he might have other bids coming in before he could get to us & had a job in Georgia coming up that week. It’s 6/23. No estimates ever came. No phones again. If you want to waste $250, call these guys. Otherwise, save yourself some money and call another contractor.

Built by Babb just completed a remodel of my master bath both on time and exactly how I had envisioned. John has amassed a great group of craftsmen that take pride in their work and it shows. Will not hesitate to use again.

We moved into a home that has two outdated and unsafe bathrooms. I happened to read a few comments on a Facebook site that recommended the contractor, Built by Babb. Boy, did I hit the jackpot!

Johnny Babb responded quickly to my call, and he came to my house that week to advise me and to price the job. The total job included bathroom makeovers and new kitchen countertops. The work was done within in a month, and the results are beautiful! The best part is that the final price matched the estimate!

Also, I can’t say enough about the skilled workers. Each worker took time to make everything exactly right, and I could tell that they value excellence.

This is Roxanne. Built By Babb came to our house this week and tore off the stairs on our front porch and replaced them in just under 4 hours. They were EXCELLENT, professional, personable, efficient, and timely for a fair price. They cleaned up every last scrap of material and hauled it off. I would recommend John and his crew again and again. Any time I need them they are always available and do a fantastic job!

We just had Built by Babb replace the windows and doors in our sunroom. Johnny and his crew did a wonderful job and I highly recommend them. There was an incident in my attic this past weekend and Built by Babb were called in at the last minute to help and they did, that 2 man team handle there business, they came in to replace a piece of drywall and painted in a few hours and Saturday and finished up on Sunday, but the boss man came in first to diagnose the damaged, I really liked that, and then called me after they finished to ask if I was happy, excellent job, will continue to use him in future. John Babb and his guys built the most beautiful porch and hot tub deck for us. I cannot say enough about how amazing they all were! The entire process was just what you would want for any construction or home improvement. From start to finish John was very responsive and always kept us informed about the job. The guys on the crew were great and very skilled. The finished project was so much more than what we had hoped for! We love it so much! We highly recommend!

Babb was very considerate of my needs and schedule, remaining as patient and professional as one could expect while I was preparing despite him and his crew being ready. Excellent quality and craftsmanship at a much lower price than expected. Garage is still a mess as we're still getting everything in it's place but we're extremely pleased with the outcome! Built by Babb completed a full bathroom remodel of my master bathroom. The entire experience from start to finish was great. John was very responsive and easy to reach during the entire process for every single idea, thought, and question I had. This was the first time I had ever done something of this nature and I was entirely clueless; he was very patient and helpful in helping me get steered in the right direction for all of the decisions that had to be made. The quality of the workmanship from his team is top notch, from the drywall people to the people who make the countertops, to the tile layers and more. His entire team was also very friendly and personable. Two weeks after the process was complete I contacted John for a minor issue with the shower and he sent a team member over to fix it the very next day no questions asked. That means a whole lot to me when a company cares that much about their work they make it right even after that final payment has been made. Wonderful experience and my bathroom is beautiful and everything I could have wanted. Definitely calling them when I'm ready for my next project.

These guys can knock out any home improvement job and fast! If you want a professional job done with quality work hire them. They show up on time, do great work and clean up afterwards. I couldn't ask for more.

Had our living room remodeled. Existing brick fireplace was removed and "0" clearance fireplace installed with a stone face. Complete face lift with windows, doors, lighting and flooring. Steps upstairs were rebuilt. This gave us a lot of more room. structural repairs were made also. These guys did a precision job to make sure everything was level and square. This was challenging because my house was built in the 40's. I selected a couple before and after photos from the same angle.

Mr. Babb came out to see what repairs we needed on a bad shower faucet install, replacing an outdoor faucet and fixing the fascia trim. He sent his crew by one morning to double check what plumbing supplies were needed. While they worked on another job that day in Sedley they went to Franklin to get my repair parts and stopped back by that afternoon after they finished the Sedley job. They were able to fix all my repair jobs including the shower install done wrong that had vise grips holding the pipe in place. I was mortified that they were there. His guys were very professional and really knew what was needed to correct all 3 jobs. This company will definitely be our go to company for any repairs or new jobs that our home will need. Thank you for working us into your schedule and we have already recommended you to some of our friends.

A section of my gutters came down in a wind and rainstorm. I gave the team a call on Friday and they had everything fixed by Tuesday afternoon.

Built By Babb installed a new hot water heater for us, working until after 7pm on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. They stayed until it was done, cleaned up and made sure it was working properly! So thankful for the excellent job they did!

John is amazing. He communicates very well and is always straightforward and honest. He even took care of a busted pipe in my wall and completely redid all of the drywall and paint at no cost to me. Things always go wrong when doing a home remodel but it’s all about how it’s handled by the contractor and John was A plus.

Not to mention the quality. My God, the quality is amazing. The tile work and the shower door just feel wonderful. Not that cheap “Home Depot” feeling.
