When our usual cleaner of 3 years said he was only doin "installs" i confess i was worried. That is until we had Ben come out to sweep our stove-pipe. He was clean, efficient and very personable. Excellent customer service and very good experience (still searchin for the same in a local plumber though, lol).

Brown Masonry did the stone work for my wood stove. They did an excellent job of weaving the stone to make it look natural, especially where the angle of the wall changes. Fast, efficient, and left the job site clean. Highly recommend!

This is the 2nd year we've had Ben & Matt out to clean our chimney. Last year Ben had to go up on our very high roof to remove a creosote crusted screen under the chimney cap. He was up & back down very quickly. These guys do a fantastic job all while being friendly, giving advice & cleaning up after themselves. They leave no mess! On their advice we now use creosote sticks about once a week & will be purchasing a fire proof hearth mat to protect the floor from popping embers. We completely trust Brown's Masonry & will call them again next year. Thanks guys, Carrie

Brown Masonry cleaned our chimney today. We use a wood burning fireplace for heat late fall through early spring so there was considerable ash build up; they cleaned every speck of it up in no time at all. They even took the ash to our compost pile for us! Matt and Ben were highly professional, efficient, effective, and were respectful of my work-from-home schedule. They were transparent about their fairly priced fees and didn't charge a dime over it. They even helped our dogs feel comfortable around them! We highly recommend their services!

I've never used a chimney cleaning service before, and I waited way too late in the season to make an appointment but these guys were awesome. They fit me into their incredibly busy fall schedule, had excellent communication, and were extremely professional. They also were very punctual and didn't leave any mess behind, would absolutely use again and highly recommend!

Great guys came early kept everything clean and neat. Seen a few things that need adjustment done it with no problems will be using these guys from now no problems.

Matt and Ben cleaned and checked my old chimney and wood stove last fall. They’re professional, so knowledgeable, and really have safety as a priority. They are helping me with a potential major, complicated project. Like I said, professional, knowledgeable, experienced, answer all my questions. I recommend them without hesitation to anyone. Brown Masonery came to our house after we had a small chimney fire to clean it out. After discovering that our stove pipe was installed improperly they completely redid the pipe. They did an excellent job and did it promptly. Would highly recommend them. Thanks so much.

Ben and Matt came out twice on short notice to assess a particularly troublesome chimney flue problem. Matt scampered up our roof to look from top down and took photos to explain the issue. Brown Masonry didn't charge us for two consulting sessions with knowledgeable (and friendly) pros! We have used them to clean our dryer vents, as well. Who knew that the underside of the dryer itself got so dirty? Ben and Matt cleaned that, too. In the future we will build a brick-lined fire pit. There's only one company we will call: Brown Masonry!

Both Ben and Matt are very professional and actually interested in earning your business. Ben came out for a woodstove chimney sweep and did a great job caring about the property and answering all my questions. The before and after results are night and day. They will be my go to for years to come.

Brown Masonry did very professional work on an unusual masonry repair job on an older building. They responded quickly to my request for help, explained their idea for how to fix the problem, and got me an estimate in a week's time. They did the work quickly, cleanly, and on schedule, and even offered to work "after hours" so as not to inconvenience customers in the store. They took good care of the work space, and left no mess when they were done. Highly recommended!

Ben and Matt are on It!! They cleaned my fireplace, flu, and vent cap fast and efficiently and their was no mess,.....I couldn't have asked for a better experience.
I also have piece of mind that my home is safe and sound for another season and I don't have to lose any sleep worrying about a chimney fire in the middle of the night.
It was worth every penny,..... and i will have them back every year to check things out. Now I am ready to build s fire and watch the snow fly. I give em 5 stars!! Thank you for a great service!!

We were extremely pleased with the work of Matt and Ben with Brown's Masonry in Victor. They're both very knowledgeable and professional in their areas of expertise which include wood stoves, chimneys and masonry. They not only do exceptional work but take the time to explain and educate homeowners on various materials, approaches and safety measures. They are good communicators and attentive to the needs of the homeowner. We are delighted to have found them and will continue to use their services for chimney/stove work and home remodeling projects.

Matt and Ben really know what they are doing, plus they have all the tools needed to do an outstanding job! I especially appreciated the ones used to clean the chimney. Not a drop of dust escaped into the house as he cleaned! While Ben cleaned the dryer vent, he also cleaned the lint build-up under the dryer and fixed a hole in the hose. That will save me money! The survey they do at the end helps you assess your overall fire safety.

Matt and Ben were great. They are very knowledgeable, communicated well, and explained how to operate and maintain our stoves. I would highly recommend them.

Great guys! Great work! They cleaned out our dryer vent which was plugged and could have resulted in a fire. Matt and Ben are timely, professional and efficient. They are good, hard working guys and I highly recommend their services.

I manage several vacation homes, and deal with a ton of different companies. These guys are very professional and helpful. They came to a house that most people will not drive to, and showed me what they were doing. They even explained what was wrong so I could tell my client. They also left me a receipt that explains everything they did. I highly recommend these guys to anyone, they even tried to mop the floor as they left!

They came out in the pouring rain and discovered an access panel to an ash trap for to the chimney which had totally burned through. Not only did they save me from a highly probable house fire, they custom made a replacement piece (and a spare). They did a great job cleaning the chimney and the wood stove. I was very pleased.

Brown's Masonry have swept out our woodstove for the past couple years, and we won't use anyone else!!! They provided excellent service, calling us to remind us to get the stove cleaned out, worked around our busy schedules, and were friendly, and fast!! Highly recommended!!

After problematic sweeps by a company from Missoula, both chimneys would not draw and required shutting down fires. Called Brown Masonery. They responded same day with excellent results. Professional, personable. Fireplaces have not operated this well for years. Customer for life.
