Brookside Landscaping did a spectacular job landscaping my yard. They installed a lengthy french drain to eliminate the drainage issues, installed a rain garden to capture drainage and roof runoff, and replaced my lawn with many lovely plants and hardscapes. Adam is meticulous and has an eye for detail, and his crews are very hard working. I love my new eco-friendly yard.

Brookside has provided good service for my home sprinkling system this year. They provide prompt service and good follow thru.

Needed a clean out of three tier pond/waterfall system. Brookside sent a crew of 2, did a great job cleaning the ponds, also repositioning rocks in the ponds. Also developed an airlock in our pump, returned the next day - up and running in 15 minutes. On time, great work, efficient.

We couldn't be happier with the results of our inquiry regarding what could be done to our pond to improve the looks and efficiency. An amazing plan was drawn up with a variety of options ranging in price to fit our needs. Because of another homeowner expense which hit us unexpectedly, we haven't begun the renovation process as yet. However, the main issue of water leaking was taken care of with a total clean out and rearranging of stones. We are looking forward to working with this crew again in the near future.

We were very pleased with the irrigation and landscaping project done by Brookside. They took our initial ideas and turned them into a design that was pleasing and fit the space. They developed an irrigation system that met our needs and then spent time making sure we understood how it operated. The crew was excellent. This may be the first time a review has been written for a company that has yet to start a project. But it shows how important the beginning of the customer relationship is. More jobs have been lost because a business fumbled away an opportunity by ignoring or screwing up this phase. Brookside Landscape Design is the model for how small businesses (any sized business actually) should comport themselves. Engaged BLD to discuss issues we were having with our water feature. We inherited it when we bought our house and it was quite old and experiencing leaking. Nate & Scott took the time to come out multiple times to discuss various options, given the age of the system etc., on how to proceed. Timely, responsive communication throughout the process, whether in person, email or phone. Kudo's to Cevi in the office as well. Nate has been willing to answer and all questions in a straight forward manner and has been transparent throughout . Looking forward to the execution phase of the project.

Adam and Corey and the team did a wonderful job rebuilding and recreating our backyard pondless waterfall. We have had a waterfall for the past sixteen years and Brookside had helped us maintain it over the years. This year we decided that we needed a rebuild. We contacted Brookside and Adam helped with the design and keeping the costs in line. The team arrived and was organized and tidy. They took out the old falls and replaced it with a wonderful centerpiece for our yard. We now have a pondless waterfall that will last long into the future. Great staff and a great product! I’m really pleased with my new pond and waterfall, a feature I’ve long dreamed of having in my garden. Perhaps my favorite part of using Brookside was the staff. I was consulted regularly during the design process and the construction staff were friendly and always cleaned up each day. When a minor issue arose, they were quick to return and resolve it. We had the pleasure of having Brookside Landscape and Design team member Scott Lyons service our irrigation system and extend the system to our new terrace planter box. Scott went through the system to inspect for breaks and leaks. Then he extended the drip line to the terrace wall bed. He also took into consideration the extension and added an additional 15 minutes to the sprinkler zone. He also educated me on how to avoid pooling in our front yard by cycle soaking rather than one long cycle. This will help address our problem with glacier hard pan. Super pleased with Scott’s work and knowledge. I highly recommend Bookside.

We asked Adam to design a new plan for our front landscape. He put together a beautiful and balanced combination of northwest appropriate plants and his team dug up our old heather and all the roots and planted beautiful new landscaping. We had Brookside design and re-do our front and backyard a couple of years ago. They did a fantastic job and we plan to have them return at some point in the future to work on our side yards. We also have them come back yearly to clean our water feature, and to do irrigation maintenance. They are a wonderful company to work with and I highly recommend them.

Nate Shirley and crew from Brookside did a great job working within my budget to help with my water feature. I didn't even realize how good a job it was, and how reasonable the costs, until I got a quote from a competitor. A year later I developed a leak, perhaps from a deer walking across the stream. Whatever the reason, Nate came back, standing by Brooksides warranty, and fixed the problem. Brookside does a good job, and stands by their work.

They installed a pondless waterfall in three days. Dimetri, Quentin were there all three days and were friendly, professional and skilled. Nate oversaw the project and had a great eye for the esthetics. Information on the build and care of this system was relayed in detail. I had another pond which was probablematic to keep clean but this aquascape system is so much superior. I highly recommend them for any work you may have. They are a delight to work with and very accomodating to my modifications.

The water feature now looks better than it ever did. Mark was very helpful in making recommendations for continuing maintenance. I'll be using this company again.

Our fountain quit working during the winter, and we were not able to get it running again. The original installer was too busy to repair it but recommended Brookside. They came soon after we called and very quickly had our fountain in working order once again.

Adam and his team were very professional and accommodating. I have very high expectations when I am paying for a service and his team managed to exceed my expectations with the job they did in my yard. Adam worked with me to come up with a plan on how I could make my space functional, low maintenance, and beautiful. We broke the plan into steps that I could afford with the foundation laid for the future projects, once I can afford it. Their attention to detail is what impressed me the most. I'm used to seeing contractors rush jobs to completion but Adam and his team took their time, when it mattered the most, to ensure that it was done correctly. Because they drove through my neighbors yard to gain access to my yard, they took it upon themselves to weed, regrade, and lay new mulch in order to leave it looking far better when they left it, than when they found it. My neighbors and I were very impressed with their attitude toward business. I am sure that there are cheaper companies for yard clean ups, or weed removal etc. but if you are looking to create an outdoor living space, I would definitely recommend Brookside Landscaping.

After a break in sewer line. I needed to have my yard repaired. I contacted Adam at brookside landscaping, who replied quickly with a fair bid. The crew was here every day, on time and worked steadily. They replaced sod in needed areas, and built up adjacent areas to blend in the area. My lawn is now getting back to normal. Clean up was amazing, leaving the entire work area looking like they had never been there. Actually I have to admit a little better than they found it. Adam Goit and his amazing team at Brookside did a truly amazing job on a huge, complex, and multifaceted design and installation project for us on Bainbridge Island. Their work included installing a multi-zone irrigation system extending over the entire property as well as conceiving and installing a series of interconnected stone staircases around the house. At every turn Adam and team made smart independent decisions aesthetically and technically, while still keeping us in the loop. Would highly recommend.

Brookside did a high quality job on our project, including grading, pavers, and plantings. We received a prompt and complete quote regarding price and availability. Adam (owner) was very helpful in making sure our specifications included everything we needed to make the installation a success, and even laid out the concepts on site to better see what we would be getting. We were able to get the work done based on the on-site layout (no time and cost for formal design -- maybe a little risky, but Adam handled the process well and was on top of important details like working necessary grade changes into the work). They showed up on time to do the work and worked steadily until the project was complete. The work force was professional, positive, and helpful. Minor changes proposed by us (in a timely manner) were readily incorporated into the work with no loss of time. We hope to do more work with Brookside.

Adam and his crew did an amazing job designing our front and side yard. The installation included a water feature that we love, especially when it lights up at night. He also built a pad for our RV with a rock wall and a pad for our shed with a rock wall as well. Everything is beyond our expectation. Adam gets back us quickly every time we've had a question or concern. We are looking forward to working with Adam next summer when we complete the back yard.

Adam did a pond for me that wound up absolutely incredible. The process started with me showing him a hole that I had dug and wanted an upgrade to include filtration and beauty. In his mind, that meant a whole different thing than anything I envisioned. It was incredible and he gave a very detailed estimate that included everything that would be done. This business is fantastic! The owner Adam is amazing at what he does and truly passionate about plants and water features. If you have an idea, he can make it happen. I have used his services at my home and business, and will use no other. We have a long term plan involved for my place, and I love that he doesn't pressure me to do more than I can afford at the time. He is local and understands our weather and our local plants. I told him that I wanted more natural color in my landscaping and he had a laundry list of plant selections. I love that it wasn't just a couple of plants to choose from.
