I hired John Brooks Construction when I had a horrible fire to my own. Brooks Construction (John Brooks) did an excellent job dealing with the adjuster and insurance company. My entire home was gutted and rebuilt on inside. He and his staff did an amazing job! Was very pleased and will hire him back with any remodeling jobs I have in the future.

John and his team remodeled our bathroom and did a wonderful job. Next time I remodel or need construction work, I’ll be sure to contact John Brooks Construction first.

I’ve handled insurance claims for a decade and a half and I’ve seen several projects that John has taken on. He works well with the customer and other businesses in order to ensure the project is completed well and in a timely manner.

I don’t know which John Brooks Construction everyone is talking about in the reviews but my experience with him (there were no other workers) was a total nightmare. I signed over $20,000 in insurance payments for him to do repairs caused by a bad roof and he did not complete the work, return any call or messages and kept my money. He is a thief and a criminal as far as I’m concerned. I ended up having to hire another contractor to re do the work he half finished and had to pay $9000. From my retirement. Do not hire this man. Also he wasn’t even licensed.

After suffering a flood on May 23 I received estimates from several contractors. Out of all the contractors to provide an estimate John Brooks Construction was the most detailed and professional. I built my home with my father more than forty years ago. John was the only contractor who took this into consideration and the only one who said he could custom build the lower damaged cabinets to match the upper cabinetry that I built with my father. After speaking with a few of his references I hired him to remove the mold damage, restore all of the flood damage and moving out and packing in all my contents. The night I hired them I slept better than I had since the flood knowing they were going to take care of everything. He hired an outside company to perform the pre and post mold test. They passed the mold post testing on time and started rebuilding my home. Their staff walked me through each step of their restoration process and time line. As the photos show they did an excellent job matching the cabinetry and stain. They completed way before I expected. There aren’t any lines that can be seen where the drywall was replaced in every room of my 2500 square foot home. It was like a flood had never occurred. I would recommend their services to anyone.

4/15/2013 we hired John Brooks Construction to reroof, replace doors, windows and repaint exterior with new siding.
From the time we hired them to completion they were professional and on time. There were no additional or hidden fee's during the repairs.
They handled everything from meeting with the adjuster and dealing with the insurance company to performing the work.

When my mother's house caught fire, we were lost on what to do next. We contacted Mr. Brooks, and he took care of everything from dealing with the insurance adjusters to all the aspects involved in a house fire restoration. The whole time, he and his crew were very kind and helpful. The house looks even better than before the fire. We couldn't of asked for a better outcome. I highly recommend John Brooks Construction.
