As new home owners who inherited a roach problem we chose Bowman Pest Control to help us out. Keahi arrived ahead of schedule and was polite enough to call in advance. He arrived and was very professional and handled our service very diligently. The next day we could see the results and are totally satisfied.

Pro pest control is a must in Hawaii. No matter how clean your home is there will be hitchhikers in boxes, new house plants especially if your home or business is not raised

I called their office June 25th for termite versus ant inspection. Melissa kindly forwarded my photos to her associate Jayme. No what question she emailed me, I answered. Such as the Distribution of droppings ( isn't that the company's job?, my residence address, I could not get her to send me an appointment. All other companies looked at pictures and gave me an appointment. After 3 email exchanges, I gave up. Today, July 9th I emailed Melissa and said please cancel.

I gave Bowman’s five stars because they made sure I was satisfied with the service they were providing! I kept on having bugs several weeks after treatment and they kept on coming out until the problem was resolved. The manger himself came out personally to make sure my problem was taken care of. The previous company refused to work with me but Bowman’s stuck it out until it was resolved! I’m on their monthly program and the insect control is working! Much Mahalo Bowman’s!

I had quarterly pest control service from them for years. I noticed ants flying I to my house from the bathroom fan. Called them. Technician came out and said tenting my house would solve the problem. Couple thousand dollars and 1.5 months later, I have ants coming out of my bathroom fan again. I emailed them about the problem/my warranty.

They responded by saying my warranty doesn’t cover ants because tenting isn’t for ants, it’s for termites! They found out their technician sold me a service I didn’t need, and didn’t even apologize about it. Instead, they offer to send a technician out to give me estimate for more work to remove the ants. For more money.

No customer service, this place is just a money grab. I got ripped off. Don’t make the same mistake. I’ve canceled my quarterly service and am switching to another pest control contractor that will stand by their work/word.

Bowman does not care about their customers or their pets. They treated my house for roaches and their tech did not tell me he put bait stations in my house. My dog chewed one up and became very sick. He was vomiting and had bloody stool for 2 days. My vet bill was $700. Thankfully my dog is ok but Bowman did not take any responsibility for what happened, nor did they offer an apology for what happened or try and make it right. This company is not safe and if you have pets, their bait stations are not safe for pets. It's really shameful how they handled this situation.

Quick to respond and easy to work with. As Maui real estate agents we need the best in the field and Bowman exceeds our needs. Natalie on the phone always gets everything in order and makes our job so easy. Clem in the field knows his stuff and how to remedy the pest problem. We highly recommend.

Our technician Kaleo comes every month to my home to refill the bait in the mosquito containers on a day and time that is convenient for me. He is friendly, efficient and on time. I have 1 Acre of property and rented 2 of their containers. Kaleo placed them in the yard on 2 sides of my home about 20 feet away. It took a year to see results so I was skeptical, however 18 months later there are FINALLY no mosquitoes in or around my home. YAY!!!! Now I have peace of mind knowing that I am helping keep my yard and those nearby free of these nasty blood sucking pests.

Commercial side is great. But if you’re going to use the residential side I’d strongly advise anyone to read up on all their instructions on how they’re going to do the job and watch it very closely, reason being is their email of instructions and office staff says that they will inspect for ant homes, and install ant jel bait but no inspection was done and no bait was installed. It also says that he will spray the edge of your house and up to 10 feet out. The inspector/exterminator only used a small little backpack Sprayed and shot a roughly 10 inch spray really fast along the outside siding and slab edge.
It’s just sad that we pay our hard earned money for a professional service. But in all actuality what is on the contract and what they claim was done is not really done. Plus the crazy part is I was right there watching. I could only imagine what is done or not done when home owners are not home.
Sorry to give this bad review but just hoping someone in the Bowman family corrects their quality of work and installs some pride in what you do for the people in our community that are paying for. So sad Mr Bowman.

The ants in our house were driving me crazy! Our service tech, Ansen, was great - he called before he arrived, and he listened while I described my situation. He was very friendly and informative as he worked through the inside and outside of the house. Ants that were alive in a candy dish were already gone before he left. I would definitely recommend, and use Bowman again.

We recently closed on a house and Bowman inspected. The inspector was very nice and helpful. The detached garage was tented prior to closing but the main house was not. Approx 3 wks later while repairing the wood floors a live termite was captured and Mr Bowman himself came with a large muscular man. Mr Bowman was agitated and said under no circumstance was he tenting the house. He was heated and would not work with us. He said to wait 3 years. We have had to replace 90% of supports under the house and the kitchen floor due to previous damage. He only agreed to meet with us as a favor to our realtor.

They are reasonable and reliable. Did a great job without damage to the roof by prepping the all potential problematic areas.

OK, I have to say...at the beginning of my dealing with Bowman for pest control was awful. Their inside sales reps are too scripted and too 'robotic' with over the phone inquiries....all they do is read a script without asking what problem I'm trying to solve. I asked for a operations manager (forgot her name) and she listed to my concerns and feedback and schedule a tech to come out and assess my issues (two thumbs up from both ops manager and tech). I received the service quote and scheduled the treatment/visit. Tyler, the technician, came out as scheduled. HE WAS AMAZING. So professional, patient and explained/answered all questions I had. So, yes I got to a great experience, but it was a rough start!

Bowman tented our home years ago and have even come out multiple times to look at things I find during our remodel. I highly recommend Bowman. They got it done right the first time and are always available when you need them.

I had four pieces of furniture full of bore beetles. Same damage as termites.
I rented a truck, hired some muscle, and took them to the chamber at Bowman's yard on Friday. Picked them up on Monday
No more bugs. Cheaper than replacing or tenting whole house.
Do it before bugs get into cabinets or structure.

Lecka was very experienced and very customer focused. He listened to all my requests and explained what he was doing. He was prompt and in fact even early which was appreciated.

Very responsive and great to work with. Impressed with their termite technicians. They do a great job detecting and treating active termites.

Bowman has managed out pests every 3 months for 3 years.
We bought a home loaded with ghost ants. If you have never lived with ghost ants consider yourself lucky. They are very pesky and very tricky.
We had our share of centipedes and scorpions too. But no more.
Trevor sprays our property inside and out and we are pest free. Very reliable folks. Prompt, very polite and their stuff works. No smell. No mess. Just great.

I received my reminder text regarding the day and time for my pest control treatment the day before my appointment. The technician arrive right on the dot and treated the areas that I requested and stayed away from the areas I did not want sprayed. The technician was friendly, helpful, and reminded me if there were any problems please contact the office right away. I've been a loyal Bowman client for many years and I have referred them to friends.

The Bowman folks are great. We let our termite issue spread from room to room, in our Kihei condo -- not good. They came & took care of it all. Very honest, very good service. They are the only call to make.

We do our quarterly pest control through Bowman and they always do a thorough job. Our elderly hanai uncle is always home when Garrett comes to do the service, and this time he was at an appointment so my son was home to let him in instead. Garrett always does the quarterly service so he asked my son how Uncle was doing and if he was alright. It's kind thoughts like that, that make the difference between a company just doing the work or doing the work and caring about their customers.

This summer we had a problem with ants between our service, and Bowman sent someone over right away to handle the problem. It was easy, they were efficient and friendly, did not seem put out because they had to come back, and our ant problem disappeared.

We would definitely recommend Bowman. We've been very pleased overall and have not had any pests or insects, other than those thirsty summer ants.

If you let anyone but Bowman tent your house, you are wasting your time and money. Used another service who did NOT solve the problem. Bowman did. Enough said.

The 5 stars are for Mike, our service Tech. He's excellent and works hard at keeping us bug/rodent free. The Front Office people are wonderful. It's the Back Office, specifically, Accounts Receivable that's the weak link. If a payment arrives ahead of an invoice, they are at a loss for what to do. Too complicated for them!

Several of his employees have been with him several years which is a testament to how well he treats him employees. Bowman has been servicing our hotel for a few years now and has provided nothing short of great customer service, quality products, and excellent workmanship. They do everything for us including quarterly pest and rodent control, termite fumigation, and most recently a difficult bird spike installation. Every employee is professional and a pleasure to have at our resort where standards are kept very high. Many praises to Mike, Jordan, Garrett, Gordon, Scott, Bruce (many more names I've forgotten) and every awesome lady in the office who is a joy on the phone when scheduling anything. Mahalo Bowman!

Warning! This service only works if you can be home any time that they choose for you to receive your service. I have worked with Bowmen for years and they refuse to call me to schedule a time to have service done. They schedule a time and then you receive a phone call the day before. Then when I can't be there they only spray the outside of the home resulting in half service. I work, like most people and can not just run home to let them in at any time they choose. I have called and asked them to please schedule time with me directly numerous times. I left a message for the manager and have never received a phone call back 2 weeks later. If you want to receive half the service for the full price then go with Bowmen. They do not care about customer service. The only reason I'm giving them 2 stars is because Michael the man who actually does the service is great.

Bowman is very accommodating on when I need the time of my regular Appt . and if I see some ants between appts (usually after a heavy rain)Michael arrives quickly, very professional in the office per phone calls and I feel very secure when it is the same friendly agent(Michael) who shows up every time for many years and does a thorough job. Da Best! Definitely 5 star and more.
