Bobby Roark Building Contractors

Our experience with Roark Builders has been nothing but positive. We purchased a home from them in early 2019. We had been looking for 2 years for a home that met all of our needs at a price we could afford. Our new home is just beautiful - everyone who visits tells us that. If you're looking for a great house from a builder who knows what he's doing, these are the guys for you!

I bought a house from them 5 years ago and we have really enjoyed it. Love the neighborhood. Always found Bobby helpful when we called about a warranty things.When my daughter and her husband moved to Lawrenceburg, they bought a house built by Roark Builders too and they also are happy with it. They like it because there's not a bunch of red tape like with the big builders in Lexington.

Bobby Roark is a FRAUD. His homes are high priced pieces of garbage. He does not stick to his agreed Contract/Warranty of the home and will give you the run around to fix his poor workmanship. Our floors buckled in our brand new home the first day we moved in. After months of run around Bobby finally stated it wasn't his fault it was the floor that was defective. He filed a claim with the flooring company and they sent an adjuster out. The adjuster found out that he nailed the floating floor to the baseboards (a massive no no, anyone knows that floating floors don't get any nails and you sure as heck don't nail them into the base boards). The adjuster stated the floor was buckling due to the incorrect installation of the flooring. Bobby is now refusing to fix our flooring (after I have a voicemail of him saying he would). We have had two additional contractors come to our home to view the flooring and give estimates and both contractors state the whole floor and all the baseboards need ripped up and replaced. They also were appalled at the poor, negligent and shotty workmanship of this floor. A legal demand letter was submitted to Bobby, he came to our home with his "workers" and then proceeded to point at my husband and yell "there is no way in hell I will replace this whole floor, only the bad spots". Doesn't work that way Bobby, see you in Court! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! After review with neighbors it seems this is a huge problem and their complaints have fallen on his deaf ears. Our neighbor has flooring problems, our other neighbor across the street had water pipes burst the first month she moved in, a neighbor down the street had no plumbing connected when they moved in. His quality of work is laughable at best. I wish we would have never purchased our home from him or given him a dime of our hard earned money.
