Blue Nail came out the Friday of Memorial Day weekend to replace gutters in the front of our house. Originally it was estimated the job would take 4 hours. Elton and his crew completed the work and cleaned up afterward in less than 2 hours. These guys were fantastic. And I don't mean simply compared to other "trades" or "contractors". I mean as professionals. On time, on budget, on schedule. We even (accidentally) threw them some curve-balls and they didn't flinch.
Perhaps the best part was that their sales process was honest, accurate and no-pressure - an no, they were not the "cheap guys". Worth every nickel!

Just had a beautiful new roof done by Blue Nail. Turned out a bad wind storm damaged a section of the ridge line which prompted me to call a few roofing companies. From meeting with Todd Gammon and discussing options, I got a very good feeling about this company. He pointed out the hole in the roof ridge and with a bad rain storm approaching the following day, he was able to get a team out to tarp the area immediately. Disaster averted. Todd was able to fast track my job and amazingly it was done in one day. The Project Manager, Ray Aguero showed up early with a large team and they got to work. Ray kept me informed throughout the day about the progress. They cleaned up so well that, if it weren’t for the beautiful new roof, you’d never know they were here. They weren’t the cheapest, but I am not sorry that I chose them. I would definitely recommend this company..

Blue Nail provided a great experience for installing my new roof. Todd Gammon was excellent in helping me pick out the right solar add-ons from GAF and managing the process leading to the scheduled install. He didn't pressure me to move on any specific timeline except what worked for me.

On the day of the installation, Raymond Aguero handled everything very smoothly. The overall process was great, and he communicated how things were going throughout the day and made sure everything was cleaned up afterwards.

Some other folks will make you sit and watch a powerpoint while they try to sell you on their products, Blue Nail understands that your time is valuable and just gives you the information you care about. I genuinely could not believe how much time I wasted talking to window sellers. I should have just gone directly to Blue Nail. The pricing was fair and cheaper than many of the other quotes I received. During the install, Todd, TJ and Raymond were easy to communicate with, helped keep me informed about progress, and made sure to clean up after everything was done. Honestly, my house was cleaner after they installed the windows than before. This is a great company who stands behind their products and goes above and beyond to make sure everything looks perfect. We used Blue Nail to replace our Soffits, and now our windows. I will definitely be going back to them when we need our next exterior project done.

We had an all-around great experience with Blue Nail for a new roof install. Our project began with our initial consultation with Todd G, who walked us through the roofing project estimate, explaining in detail the work to be performed. Todd was very patient and answered all the questions we had during the estimate process. Ray was our on-site project manager the day of the installation, who oversaw the roofing job. He confirmed the work was performed as described and addressed any questions during the process. Angel and his roofing crew performed the roof installation very professionally and efficiently. They arrived on time and completed the work in one day. Their workmanship was top notch.

After the install, TJ came to the house and installed new wood trim around the new skylight. He was very professional and carefully explained the work to be done – he did a very nice job. Todd W. has been working closely with us to address some punch-list items, post install. He has made himself available and came on-sight a couple times to ensure any issues were remediated. He carefully listened to any concerns we had and promptly addressed them, clarifying any details along the way. He is currently working with us and has taken the lead to address a problem we had with the skylight, due to a manufacturer defect.

From start to finish, Blue Nail did a phenomenal job. We would definitely consider them for any future projects.

Our 100+ year old slate steep-pitched 3-story high roof (with numerous issues) was overdue to be replaced, but we were not sure who to trust to do the job. After getting several quotes for doing the work and some recommendations from friends, we chose Blue Nail Exteriors.
Chris McKee, our sales consultant, had taken pictures with a drone and was able to point out trouble spots, and worked with his production team to determine how they were going to proceed.
Todd Wilson, our project manager, came in and he and his team worked their magic and expertise to install new shingles, plywood, trim, fascia, soffits, gutters, gutter guards, and flashing to address our problem issues. Todd was so easy and pleasant to work with, very communicative and kept us posted with the progress of his very talented crew with pictures he took with a drone so we could watch the progress from 50 miles away (and oohed and ahhhed while watching them!) Todd answered every question or concern that we had and we felt extremely comfortable with him and the work being performed.

Blue Nail installed our roof. We reported water damage 3 weeks ago. Nobody from Blue Nail is yet to come to our property. We sent email, called their office couple of times due to no response. Finally we were told someone will be here today but nobody showed up. Extremely disappointing.

Blue Nail is a professional team, yet retains a family/community-oriented focus. Easy to work with, they came to assess the large roof of a house we were looking to purchase. They verified the deficiencies identified by the home inspector, but also POLITELY identified other areas. They professionally navigated the politics between home buyer and home seller, providing an independent, professional assessment.

Purchasing the house, the team quickly replaced our roof with a quality, attractive roof before we moved in. ...and there was no residual construction debris in the yard! After 2 prior roof replacements, I've never experienced the cleanliness of the Blue Nail team!

And they refused to bill me before the job was done! There remained some slight trim on a skylight. Due to OUR schedule, this was pushed out. Nevertheless, the Blue Nail team worked with us to schedule, and then went and matched our ceiling paint to ensure the trim matched the house!

This attention to detail and customer satisfaction is unmatched in this industry, in my opinion.

I'd absolutely engage Blue Nail again, but since they did such a great job...I think I will only be sending them Holiday Cards!

To sum up my experience with blue nail in one short sentence; Exceptional customer service, reliable work!
stumbled upon blue nail while we were searching for immediate repair of a leak in our roof. From the get-go, my husband and I were both impressed by Todd’s professionalism and how he thoroughly explained their diagnosis and recommended solutions. We ended up redoing 2/3 of the roof and some siding work (house is very old).. during the the time the roofing/siding hub was being carried out, a tree fell over our garage and completely destroyed the roof and siding.. we didn’t think twice before entrusting blue nail with that work as well.. but here’s the reason I rated my experience 12/10! Todd delivered superior customer service! He was truly exceptional when it comes to helping us with request from the insurance company.. when the insurance company tried to lowball us on how much they would cover, Todd was prompt in providing any requested documents we needed and, at our request, went as far as getting on 3 way call with the adjuster and explained the level of damage and how much work was needed.. he was always available when we had questions and even agreed to submit itemized estimate as requested by insurance just to keek the ball rolling.. I feel like he could have easily said “this is too much” and walked away but he worked with us and made us feel like valued partner.. To me this level of commitment to delivering great customer experience is priceless! It is the very reason why I would turn to blue nail for any future work without question. I had a very smooth experience with Blue Nail for my siding and gutters project. We had some unforseen surprises when our old siding was ripped off, but with the expertise and support of Freddie and his crew, Matt Troy, and project manager Todd Wilson, everything went smoothly and we were extremely pleased with the end result. Excellent, professional experience from start to finish with respect to an extensive roof replacement project. Our customer rep, Todd, was marvelous and responsive and made sure everything went smoothly, including frequent visits to the job site.

The job planning and management was very professional and well-coordinated with the solar company (GAF Energy). The crew removed the old shingles and installed the new roof in just 2 days, despite temperatures in the mid-90s. I wouldn’t hesitate to use them again (though hopefully not for another 25 years or so).

I contracted Blue Nail for a large exterior job including replacement of siding, installation of a GAF solar roof, new doors, and gutters. It took almost a year to complete the job due to significant errors from their operations team and GAF. The largest error was that the wrong solar plan was installed on my roof (about half as much power as I had contracted for) and no one even noticed it from Blue Nail or GAF until I brought it to their attention. It then took another couple of months to come back and fully complete that part of the job.

I was patient with Blue Nail throughout the process despite multiple issues (they didn’t seal the siding, leading to water entering my walls/basement), supplies being dropped off in the road instead of my property, wrong solar plan being installed, contract signed for a specific siding color that I wasn’t told was an option until after the contract was signed, and many more operational issues). I asked Blue Nail for financial compensation given the many headaches and significant delays and they offered me $1,500 (less than 2% the cost of the job).

While the final project looks good and seems to be functioning well now, I cannot recommend their services. I chose to write this review, as I had found Blue Nail on Google and chose them based on the stellar feedback.

If you choose them for a simple project, they may be right for the job. But clearly they aren’t equipped to handle multiple projects within one order.

Blue Nail was recommended to us by a good friend's friend that was in the roofing industry. The first meeting was with Kevin and EJ. Their presentation was excellent and they answered any questions we had. They showed us the quality product that would be used. They gave us an estimate and made an appointment to followup the next week. No high pressure calls in between. They came back, gave us the price and we finalized the deal. Kevin made it so easy. We were so comfortable with the whole process, we were beyond impressed. When the crew came to do the job, it was done in one day....ONE DAY!!! They arrived about 7am and done by around 5pm. The way they worked, it was like watching a well oiled machine. And they didn't leave a mess either. Just a beautiful new roof as you can see. Something I never thought I'd get excited over. I HIGHLY recommend Blue Nail. They are worth every penny. Kevin came back for a final walk around and made sure to tell me to reach out any time if I feel there's any kind of issue, and that he will be checking in occasionally. We couldn't be happier. We feel like we're part of the Blue Nail family now and it's a great feeling!

Blue Nail removed and replaced the flat roofing on our 160 year old home with Yankee gutters. They corrected a drainage issue and re shingled over our porches. Very pleased with the overall experience working with Blue Nail for my house siding. We were upgrading from aluminum to more contemporary vinyl 6” siding. Todd, the project consultant, met us with quotes for material and time in Jan/Feb. I appreciated the professionalism and transparency with work scope. Once the scope was finalized, Dan, the production supervisor, and Avery informed us of start dates for their crew to be onsite. We started the work mid-April. The work crew were extremely good and each one knew what had to be done and when. Work site was kept clean and tidy at the end of each day. Very impressed with their work ethics. Big shout out to Justin and Ben who remained onsite to answer questions or provide a end of day update. Todd did a final site visit to ensure we were happy with the outcome. A few years ago, we had a leak in our kitchen after a heavy rain. A friend recommended Blue Nail. We contacted them, one of the reps came out, checked the roof, going into the attic plus sending up drones taking pictures. What impressed us at that time was his response to the leak - rather than telling us we needed a new roof immediately, he stated "we had a few good years left on this roof and it was probably just the storm since it blew sideways." So here we are in Jan 2024, another rain and windstorm but this time we lost many shingles on our 25-year-old roof. So now the "few good years" are gone, and Blue Nail came immediately to mind. We were able to make an appt within a few days, and got started on the project of roof and gutter replacements almost immediately, roof replaced in one day, gutters replaced two days later. No muss, no fuss. All individuals we dealt with were a pleasure. We're so glad our friend recommended Blue Nail so highly.
