Delivery truck left two sets of tandem wheel ruts in my front yard & the dump trailer left one long rut beside the house. Was told by sales person he would be out Monday to repair, he never made it. I hired Blackfoot to replace our roof while under a time crunch from our insurance company. Ms. Amber and Tanner were especially helpful and communicative, and one of the owners, Mr. Travis, reached out to me personally to check in on the job. The real star of the show is Luis and his crew - they worked from the crack of dawn till dusk every day. I watched these guys push themselves way harder than I have ever worked. They tackled a particularly dangerous and challenging demo job for an old deck & staircase we had on our roof with some downright ingenuity and skill, successfully removing it without causing any damage to the house. I personally walked the roof once it was finished and it is obvious they take pride in what they do - no exposed nails, no misaligned shingles, everything cut and installed perfectly. We had a heavy, windy rainstorm soon after they finished with no leaks. To say I'm happy with their work is an understatement. The roof looks beautiful and I'm glad I chose Blackfoot.

Just the facts:

After follow up on my top-dollar roofing replacement, Blackfoot decided that adding a DOUBLE drip-edge was necessary to avoid a "can of worms". Now the roof will overhang my gutter by three inches unless I rig something up. When I questioned it, their manager got nasty with me on the phone, whining about how they visited me once before, and how I tried to solicit his crew to re-shingle a small shed. He was so flustered that I was worried he might sabotage the correction that I offered to pay for. Now, I'll gladly hire someone else rather than ask for anything from them.

Other small quality issues:

They didn't center my skylights on the joists. I had to sister up new joists so that i could get my drywall close to the new window frame. (There's really no good way for them to fix this)

The left a squishy "valley" on a roof transition and claimed it is a drainage channel. Perhaps spanning shingles over a gap is normal in some circumstances?

Most homeowners would be oblivious to these kinds of issues. If you don't mind moderately high prices and excuses, I highly recommend Blackfoot for all your roofing needs.

Bob McKeithen and Sons have done great work and follow up on two of my other roofing replacement needs. They are worth enduring their waiting list.

Blackfoot Roofing installed our current roof in 2015 with a “10yr no leak warranty guarantee” [sic]. Now fewer than 9 years later we are selling and the inspection found leaking. Blackfoot Roofing is refusing to honor the warranty, because they think “new ownership” (aka passing it down in the family) absolves them of their commitments to their customers. They say the warranty would only cover “workmanship,” but if the workmanship were any good it probably wouldn’t be leaking in the first place. Even their quote for the work they refused to cover was several hundred dollars more than competitors. Very disappointing for a company that hides behind the “family owned” and “veteran owned” labels yet acts so dishonorably.

In response to their “apology” below, they weren’t sorry or committed enough to respond to any of my three emails, and the person who came out to assess our roof couldn’t even follow through with “I’ll talk to the owner and get back to you tomorrow,” so that shows exactly how “committed” they are to following through with literally anything.

We evaluated a handful of companies to replace our roof. Blackfoot took the time to clearly explain the process in great detail. Mike Hunter, Blackfoot rep, used samples to show us how the roof would be replaced and provided color palettes to pick out our selection. Every question I threw at him, Mike cheerfully addressed them all! Since I had a great experience with Blackfoot, my dad called Mike and ended up going with him on a roof repair. Blackfoot works with Gutter Werks to assist in replacing gutters. Robbie Blanton, Gutter Werks owner, was also great to coordinate the work with. I would definitely recommend calling Mike Hunter for any roof repair.

The entire Blackfoot team was awesome to work with. We got several quotes on a roofing replacement and needed re-roof a shed while were at it. Corey gave me a great price for the entire job and won the business for Blackfoot. During the work, I was happy with all aspects and the crew (led by Eddie) worked HARD on our very large roof. We did have one small issue that arose and Travis (the owner) was quick to ensure that it was rectified. At the same time, we also had do get some vent boots replaced on our other house and Blackfoot did a quick and professional job there. In the end, when paying at the office, I spent time talking with Jessica (who was awesome) and I even signed up for a roof maintenance contract with them, to ensure that we never have any issues with our new roof.

My wife and I ended up getting 7 quotes for a roof replacement. I requested a quote online on Blackfoot Roofing's website, and was contacted a few hours later by Mike Hunter, one of their project managers. Most companies don't care if you are home when inspecting roof and taking measurements, but Mike preferred that someone be present so he can discuss their service and show you the materials used, which I was impressed with. When inspecting the roof, I showed Mike a small leak in the attic, and he temporarily patched the leak free of charge. Blackfoot was not the cheapest quote (nor the most expensive), but was on par with most of the other quotes. We decided to go with Blackfoot due to their great reputation for good quality and service, and Mike and the owners are military veterans which I respect. We were put on the schedule around 4 weeks later, and the crews worked hard. They finished in less than two days and the roof looks great. The only problem that came up was the contractor vehicle (that hoists the shingles onto the roof) damaged my neighbors mailbox. I sent an email to Mike that evening, and early the next morning Travis (the company owner) called and advised that Blackfoot (or the contractor whose fault it was) would reimburse the neighbor for a new mailbox, and Travis also contacted my neighbor that day to tell him. My neighbor has since been reimbursed and has a new mailbox up. Mike and Travis were great to work with, and I highly recommend using Blackfoot Roofing.

I had the opportunity to work with Tanner from company. Tanner stayed in contact with me while Guardian Public Adjustment worked with homeowner insurance company. Blackfoot crew should up on schedule and replaced our roof in a a day and a half. They did a outstanding job and very professional. Mike set up an appointment to give me a quote to replace my roof. During the appointment, he went over the available options and sent me a quote the same day. After signing the contract, Mike kept me updated on the permit status. He called me when the permit was issued to set a date to do the work.

Blackfoot Roofing just completed a total tear-off and replace shingle roof for me. The initial inspection and estimate by Corey was comprehensive, detailed, and well explained. The materials, (underlayment, boots, etc.), and the scope of work, outlined in the bid were top-grade.The office crew was extremely helpful regarding material selection, colors, etc. We were able to visit recently completed jobs to help us decide on colors.

These guys were recommended to us and after getting a couple of quotes we decided to go with them for our roof replacement. They did a beautiful job. Very professional. We finally decided to replace our shingle roof with metal as the old shingles were coming to the end of their life. We sent an online request for estimate one evening and Corey responded the next day. We got 5 estimates in total and all were within a couple thousand dollars of each other with the same timeline, 6 to 8 weeks out. I chose Blackfoot to replace my shingle roof with a standing seam metal roof. Terri Lynn was very welcoming in the office when I came in to schedule an estimate and very quickly a call came from Corey Frazier and meeting arranged. Corey spent as much time as needed to answer all my questions and make suggestions and delivered the estimate promptly. Communication was great as scheduling was complicated by a prolonged bout of rain that went on for way too many weeks and co-ordination with Talquin was needed to R&R service lines to accommodate facia replacement .Once the opportunities opened up Miguel Lopez came out and measured, and he and his crew installed the roof. This snap lock standing seam system is very impressive and the professionalism of everyone involved was outstanding.
Their craftsmanship shows in the attention to details.

The office staff,Jessica and Terri, were great. They always picked up the phone, always had answers to my questions and responded to texts quickly. They were very nice, even when I changed my mind on colors. They even emailed me copies of all the paper work. Miguel's team was great. I got three quotes and his felt the most informative, thorough, and professional. I didn't feel pressured to make a decision immediately either, like with other companies. My roof looks great.

The Blackfoot crew re-roofed 95% my home and addition in one day... and they finished in just a few hours the next day... and the air temperature was 97 degrees... they not only installed a beautiful roof, they did a great job of cleaning up! I highly recommend Blackfoot Roofing. Terri Lynn and Corey did an excellent job from the beginning of our roofing project until the end. We were kept up to date and were treated as a valued customer. Corey was very professional, responsive, and was patient in answering all of our questions.

I was under a time constraint by my home owners insurance company. Corey at Blackfoot roofing quoted 4-6 weeks schedule, but sometimes a customer can be moved ahead. I called Corey told him about the 22nd deadline I was given, said earliest he could do was the 29th, but he called back and said he could get it done on the 19th. Needless to say I was ecstatic! The dump trailer came out on Friday, Monday morning around 7:15 a.m. the work crew arrived, 7:30 one of the workers rung my doorbell my door to let me know they were with Blackfoot and ready to install my new roof! Around 3 p.m. they were done with the roof, they did a great job on the roof and with the clean-up, laying out tarps to capture any debris that didn't make it in the trailer made it quick and easy to clean up. Even though I've heard you should get 3 estimates, I did call 3 companies but Blackfoot was the only call back I got. I am very satisfied with the customer service I received. Thanks to Corey and his team for making this happen before the deadline.

My experience with this company was so easy from start to finish. I called for a quote and I was told that someone would call me to schedule a time for a quote. Corey called within an hour or two. We scheduled a time and he arrived on time. He got on top of my house to take measurements and whatever else they do. After that we talked and he explained everything that Blackfoot Roofing could provide. He showed me pictures from the top of my roof of potential areas of concern. He showed me actual products that would be used in the roof installation. I asked all kinds of questions and he answered all of them. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable and very kind. Their pricing was competitive too.

Fast forward to roofing day, they were there on time…I mean as soon as the sun cracked the sky…lol. They were very fast and efficient. It was supposed to be a two-day job, but I’m almost certain most of it was done on the first day. Corey met with me after the roof was completed to take a look and answer any questions. I wish to complement your five workmen on their work ethic. The first day on the job was accompanied with inclement weather the entire work day. None-the-less, all five men performed their tasks coordinated as a skilled unit with each of them performing as a highly developed assembly line. The work continued in that manner until the entire roof was installed and the job site cleaned until it was somewhat better than when work began.

Blackfoot repaired a metal roof by putting in new screws to add years to it’s life. The crew showed up promptly and completed the job pretty quickly. They even rolled my yard picking up stray screws. Very professional team. I highly recommend Blackfoot.

I was very pleased with the quality of work done on my roof after an area was damaged after a storm. I was concerned with the overall shingle color matching the damaged area due to the age of my roof, but was amazed at how well the colors blended. They even showed up 2 days earlier than expected to get the job done. I highly recommend their services.

I would not recommend this roofing company to anyone . I had them out 2 months ago for a roof inspection and repair. I was told by the inspector that my roof had another 5-6 years left, it wasn't time to be replaced and i just needed a repair. I needed a boot replaced because it has dry rotted and cause a leak in my upstairs office, and i needed exposed nails resealed. I showed the inspector a couple other water spots, living room & garage and was told it was not roof related. I received my estimate for the repair & called the inspector to add reattaching a strip of shingles that was loose under the master bedroom. Well, the repair crew came, maybe was here 30 minutes and left. I didn't think anything of it, why would I? I hired them to do a repair I should've been able to trust them to do it. Well, a month and half later and my water spot is growing in my living room. I call a contractor out and he gets on my roof and informs me that none of the exposed nails were resealed and the strip of shingles is still not attached. So, at this point, not knowing what's going on with my roof, I called Blackfoot and spoke with the receptionist about concerns of my repair only being half completed. She said she would get back to me. A day goes by and not a word so I call another roof company to come out and inspect my roof. Well, I did not have 5-6 years as black foot stated, my roof needs to be completely replaced now. It is in such bad shape the new company could not recommend a repair because they can't warranty it. Had Blackfoot done their job correctly 2 months ago, and were honest, I would've known my roof was bad and replaced it with them. But, I guess it's a blessing in disguise, because since the repair was only done half way, it makes me wonder how good of a job a complete re-roof would've been.
