Kitchen remodel 2024 4/15/2024 - 5/21/2024
From our very first meeting, during the design process and through the construction to completion, every person we came into contact with from Benchmark and various subcontractors were professional, polite, knowledgeable and friendly. Lee guided us step by step during the entire process of picking our cabinets, counters, flooring and the design of a custom cat area to accommodate a pet drinking fountain. Ian and his crew did an outstanding job installing the cabinets and the finish work. Any concerns we had were addressed timely and to our satisfaction. All subcontractors (floor, electric, plumbing, and counter tops) were excellent. Any concerns were addressed fully. When Lee and Ian say they want customers 100% satisfied, they mean it and it happens. Thank you Benchmark for our beautiful kitchen!

Lee and his son Ian were consummate professionals, exhibiting excellent communication and patience with us throughout the process of our stressful kitchen remodel. The timeline they gave us was “spot-on” and they were at our home every day until the job was completed perfectly and on schedule. They cleaned up thoroughly at the end of each day and pleasantly accommodated my two very curious dogs through the duration of our remodel. When I second guessed my choice of flooring, Lee and his wife went above and beyond on their own time to pick out some samples and set them aside at the store for me to look at. I went with one of their choices and I am so happy that I did as it looks amazing!
This is truly a “family business” in the old-fashioned sense of the term, and that is hard to come by these days. They genuinely care about their craftsmanship and their clients, and they have a business based on integrity.
I have to make special mention of Lee’s son, Ian, as he is mature beyond his years with skills to match it. I was beyond impressed with his expertise, execution and reliability. This young man exhibited a sense of principal and pride in his craft and was a pleasure to work with.

My experience with Benchmark was amazing from start to finish! Lee was responsive in scheduling an in-home consultation, had a very thorough and professional design process and ensured I knew every detail about my project. He was responsive to every inquiry and kept me informed throughout, even working over weekends to get it finished by my deadline. Ian was extremely professional installing the kitchen, on time, cleaned up daily and the finished job is perfect. I highly recommend this company. Very nice to see a SPLASH pool dealer in the area, as I have been a very happy SPLASH pool owner since buying ours over 19 years ago. I still expect to get more years of use from it as it is still in great shape.
My previous experience with above f=ground pools was 8 years or less, so this is a very good investment to say the least. Reasonably prices, easy to maintain, excellent materials and construction, easy to set up and take down if needed.

We're so happy that we chose Benchmark Home Improvements for our kitchen renovation. Lee did a great job with the design. He was very responsive and had great ideas. Ian and Lee did a great job with demo of our old kitchen and installation of our beautiful new cabinets. We had the best experience getting new cabinets from Benchmark. Lee was a pleasure to work with. The cabinets were high quality. Lee gave us a price and timeline. He was `100% accurate with the amount of time it would take for the cabinet installation and he never charged one cent more than what he quoted us. He and his crew were kind and polite. I cannot say enough great things about BenchMark Home Improvements! I needed my kitchen remodeled and decided to give them a call based on the excellent reviews I had read about them and those previous reviewers did not steer me wrong. Lee is very personable and he really took his time explaining the services he offers and helped me decide on a plan to make my kitchen work for me. I decided to have my cabinets refaced, turn a closet into a great looking pantry and go with a custom built in microwave in my lower cabinets to make room for the chimney vent hood I wanted above my stove. I feel the price was great for the work I had done and the customer service and level of professionalism is second to none! A special thanks to Pete as well! A full kitchen cabinet face lift. Benchmark delivered excellent work! Lee’s meticulous measurements proffered a professional outcome. His crew, Pete & Eddy were both courteous and skilled. Pete for his perfection on framing and Eddy for his attention to detail work on laminating. Thorough and deliberate craftsmanship all round.

We own the Lamb and Lion Inn in Barnstable on Cape Cod. Our inn has high marks all around from the guests, however our personal space was another story! Our kitchen overlooks the courtyard, pool & hot tub, and it's a lot of fun, but a linoleum & Formica meca! YIKES! We decided this winter it was time to take care of the innkeepers so a new kitchen was in order. However, there is no such thing as a millionaire B&B owner, so our budget was a huge issue. Lee and his wife Meoghan came to the inn and from that moment on it was a pleasure doing business with Benchmark. They are easy to work with, have great vision and really understand what a tight budget is. Rather than getting whacked with huge construction costs we were shown how we could simply re-face the existing ugliness, change what needed changing and simply hide what could be hidden. Lee came up with fantastic space saving ideas and he even saved our 2 kitchen islands, giving them a facelift instead of replacing them. At the end of it all, Lee and his caring & careful team left us with a kitchen we LOVE, and for much less money than we had originally imagined. We have much more storage space, and he even through in glass door cabinet with a motion night light (a great calling card--every time the light goes on we think of Lee--was this done on purpose? Hmmm...)
On a more personal note we truly appreciated Lee's easy going personality, great sense of humor and communication skills. When he & his team were caught at another job that ran a week late he called us right away and kept us posted as to his timing during the small delay, which ended up to be shorter that expected.
On Cape Cod we have a huge problem with workers showing up late, or not at all, and not hearing from them. It's torturous! Benchmark's professionalism made working with them something we would gladly do again in the future, if another project comes along. If anyone needs anymore praise than that to help them make up their minds please call us at the Lamb and Lion Inn!

My wife and I are remodeling a home to flip. Debated whether to buy new or reface existing kitchen which is still in great shape. I have absolutely zero criticisms of the job performed. High quality, professional, clean, fast, friendly, and trustworthy. I have had my share of construction fiascos in my day, and it has left me gun-shy and skeptical of these sort of things. Lee and Matt were tremendous.
