Bear Creek Roofing

This company has horrible communication via cell phone, office phone and email. Ended up paying for a “patch” repair until I could figure out if I needed a whole new roof and 2 months later my ceiling started leaking again, so now not sure what exactly I paid for. Would definitely not recommend!

In July 2021 I contacted bear creek roofing to get an estimate on repairing the roof of our home which we were selling. They came out at the end of July to do an inspection, and despite me calling the office many times after the inspection was completed I was not emailed my estimate until September 2nd (and yes I did verify my email every time I called). Once the estimate was received I was told I would be contacted about picking out shingle color and setting a date for the roof to be done. I waited until September 13th before reaching out via email and received no response. On September 14th I sent a text and left a voice mail for the number I was given and received no response. On September 16th I sent yet another email, nothing. Called the office yet again, was hung up on almost immediately after stating my name. Sent another email on September 27th, still no response. The communication was horrible, it is now October 9th and I have still heard nothing from this company. I have since decided to go with XR roofing as they have been communicating with us and are already on track to be fixing the roof within the week. Would highly recommend not using this company if you need work done quickly or are in a situation where communication is vital.

Called them months ago to compare quotes and they were the cheapest. Then I kept calling, weekly and each month to get things rolling. And Everytime we called, it was a different female. And each time they'd say they sent an email we couldn't find one. Finally after EIGHT months of back and forth we gave up and hired a new company that got us in and repaired and done within a week of talking to them. Then these guys finally say they're ordering lumber and what not. So we tell em nevermind. And now they want a massive cancellation fee. Even though they did absolutely nothing to earn it. Didn't even actually order anything or hardly talk to us. Yet we owe $1000. Cause everyone just has 1k lying around. Plus, they were barely gonna have insurance pay hardly anything so we'd have a ton to owe. But this new company was awesome and had insurance pay for everything. We saved a ton of money by switching to XR Roofing.
