This is the third time I have used B&B Rooofing during the last ten years. I am extremely impressed with their sustained excellence and first class professional service. I strongly recommend without hesitation this company finish your next roofing project.

1. Next time, tell a lie that cannot be disproven!
This was the first I heard of a job being shut down, so I called the Contractors. As I thought, that was a LIE. No job was ever shut down. After the inspector arrived (and now they know their so-called competitor is who called the inspector), it was determined that although the Contractor had applied for the permit, he did not conclude the process by posting payment like he should've. So, he picked up the telephone and phoned in the payment. I called the City of Florence and verified his story - no job was ever halted. Those six men continued to work throughout the contractor's 4-minute phone call to the City of Florence.
So, let's recap. You called the Inspector then lied about it. You've proven just how reputable you are. Great work!

But you didn't stop there.....

2. In your attempt to mislead your readers, you referred to the building as being "Inhabitable". The only problem is it isn't a residence. It's a former laundromat that needed a roof. Did you mean to say it's a 'vacant' building? If so, what does this have to do with the fact that you didn't know how to "frame" the roof, per your own words?

3. It's concerning that you've become this unhinged because of my initial review. After suggesting that a roofer should know how to frame, you fell completely apart! Even threated with legal action on the telephone. But what's interesting is that you forgot to research the potential legal action associated with mentioning names without consent. Online pseudynyms/monikers are used to protect one's privacy. A quick google search would've revealed that. Posting my first and last name was not only unprofessional, it was not smart. I expect better from a "25-year" veteran of the industry.

You've done nothing more than prove that I did, in fact, dodge a bullet. And the more you post, the more you illustrate this fact to potential customers. I'm pretty satisfied with the present contractor, who has agreed to complete the other properties in my portfolio. While you're proclaiming, "contractors beware" - as if a straight-laced, well-experienced contractor would run from someone with multiple projects, you've made it easy for them to contact me to quote on a few of the other projects I have slated for this year. I appreciate that - thanks!

Update #1:
The gentleman had to return this morning, to complete a job I thought was completed yesterday. They simply placed a covering over the roof, in order to return today. I feel it's important to add this, because Iwas contacted by Greg and threatened to remove my review because it somehow damaged his reputation. I advised Greg to go ahead and post any and all pics he threatened to post. It doesn't change the fact that my impression of his business is unflattering.

I don't like giving businesses poor ratings. However, Greg quoted one of my properties. He passed on the opportunity because he said it was not within the scope of what he could do - and that the roof needed to be framed. This was interesting, citing the fact that he's a roofer. I got someone else to do the job and it was completed in one day! When I asked about the difficulty of the job, the contractors laughed and said, "any roofer should be able to complete this job. Where's the difficulty?". All of this time, I thought I couldn't get anyone to complete the job because of what Greg told me, when in fact he simply didn't want the job. Such a pity, as I purchased a group of homes that each need a new roof. Unfortunately, my impression of this business isn't flattering.

Amazing job well done by these guys. Very professional, efficient and able to answer all of our questions. I was pleased to know they used high quality materials and our home looks beautiful. Amber, Greg and William are such kind individuals who work so hard to get things done right and in a timely manner. Will be recommending to all my friends and family and will use them in the future if needed. Thank you again guys!!

They are a very professional and personal when it comes to doing business. They had me a quote on having my roof replaced very quickly. Greg put a new roof on our house about 13 years ago when hail damaged it. They were very reasonable, did a great job and our roof still looks great! Thanks Greg!! Greg and Amber are honest and fine people to work with. When he replaced my shingles he recommended that I spend just a small amount more and get architectural shingles and metal edge trim. Greg Benton, owner of B&B Commercial Roofing LLC, was a pleasure to work with! He consistently communicated relevant information regarding roofing labor cost and materials, sent pictures since I live out of town, and completed the roofing replacement in a timely manner. He paid attention to details and requested to see the suspected interior ceiling damage before beginning the roofing job. Since I chose to have an older roof resheathed with plywood and reshingled, the cost was higher. However, the quality of the new roof is excellent!

I called Greg because I had a water leak in my kitchen. He came out and did a free estimate and advised me that the entire roof was quite old and needed to be repaired. We decided to fix the roof as well as the plywood. He gave me the best deal he could and the house looks amazing. His quality of work, communication, and professionalism was incomparable.

We researched a number of roofers for our project and chose B&B based on their on-line reviews and competitive estimate. They did not disappoint! Greg and Amber were responsive and very helpful in helping us complete the project. We decided to install 4 skylights during the reroofing and they were able to help us with placement, measurements, and product recommendations. They arrived on time and began work as promised, did the shingling and skylight roof installations, and helped us find contractors to complete the interior work. They also recommended (and completed) solutions for a flat portion of the roof that was causing some water damage. Upgrades to the gutters completed the project. The crew was efficient, the property well-cleaned, the and workmanship excellent! The roof, skylights, and gutters look good and contribute to the overall integrity of our home. Love my new roof!! The guys with B&B Roofing did a great job. They came early and worked hard all day. Greg and his wife, Amber, were very friendly and professional. Greg called me back within a couple of hours of me calling and requesting an estimate. He personally came by and brought samples of shingle colors to look at and even sent me addresses of a couple of jobs he had done with the shingle color that I was interested in. B&B Roofing went above and beyond what I expected!! I will definitely consider using them again in the future!!!

Such a terrible roof theses guys did for me . He asked me to write a review right after the roof was done , 10 months later shingles are still not flat like I asked for and he said the heat from the sun will flatten the shingles, lie , they are lifted and I’ll never recommend this company to anyone

Greg and Amber run a first-class operation! Their customer service is outstanding and the quality of their work is top-notch. I was looking for a roofer to install a new roof on my home and multiple friends recommended B&B Commercial Roofing. Greg came by within a couple of days of me contacting him to get me a quote, which he provided by email the next day. Once I signed the contract, he put me on his list. It did take about six weeks before he got to me, but with the current housing and remodling boom and the very wet winter we just had, that's what I had expected. Once it was my turn, he and his crew showed up on the day they promised and completed the job that same day. When they were finished, they cleaned up after themselves completely. The price I paid was exactly what he had quoted me a month and a half before, even though I'm sure his material costs had increased (again, COVID housing boom to thank for that.) Greg, Amber, and their work crew were all friendly and professional and it was a relief to know I was dealing with an honest and fair business.

When I purchased this house, its roof clearly was at the end of its life. I started my search for a roofer by asking for recommendations from my insurance agent and friends. B&B's name was mentioned, as well as a few other local roofers. I also did a lot of research online into area roofers, and the materials they use.

I knew from pricing the materials myself what they should cost. So when I received quotes, I could tell how much labor and profit was included. I never complain about companies that pay their people reasonably and make a reasonable profit. I do have an issue with companies that price gouge. Greg and Amber's pricing was fair and appropriate for the job.

On the scheduled install date, their crew arrived on-time. The first thing they did was to put down tarps to catch any material that fell off the roof. That's the first sign of quality and professionalism. When the rest of the crew arrived, they immediately set up their equipment and began working. They worked safely and carefully - the second sign of quality and professionalism. The old roof came off, and the new drip edge and roofing material was installed as per the manufacturer's specifications. Afterward, the site was cleaned thoroughly, and all trash was removed.

They did a great job. I would gladly have them do other work if I needed it.

One lesson I learned was in this process is there are other companies in the area whose will quote a job for much more than what is reasonable.
One company's bid was 70% more than B&B, for no good reason other than to make more money. Greg and Amber provided a quick turnaround on the initial bid, and scheduled the work when I was ready.

We had a very pleasant experience working with them. They were prompt in giving us a bid and did the job in one day. The workers were pleasant and friendly and very thorough at cleaning up. They even had a magnetic device like a lawnmower to pick up all nails. Greg and his wife were easy to deal with. The roof looks great and we are very pleased. There was no pressure as we tried to decide what color. Good job with flashing around chimney and the vent pipes.
