My first contact, Gilbert, did a terrific job inspecting the roof and provided a detailed and photo-filled presentation and bid. The project started on time with a brief rundown of what to expect by Ricky, the job supervisor. The worksite was orderly, the work crew was quiet and respectful, and the job was completed ahead of schedule. The photo-filled wrap-up meeting with Gilbert was informative and added to my peace of mind. I received bids from 3 different roofing contractors and I'm so glad that we selected Barrera Roofing for the job.

On a score of 1 to 5, I would give Barrera Roofing a 6. Friends recommended them to me. After talking with the owner he went up on my tile roof and took many photos . He showed them to me on his tablet. It was obvious I needed a new roof. A few days later he presented me with a contract stating everything that would be done, and the date for starting. If they discovered a surprise problem it would be included at no extra cost.

The job was started on the exact date and finished 4 days later. At the end of each day they left my property neat and clean. After they finished, he again took many photos and showed me the reasons for my needing a new roof were no longer an issue.

Barrera Roofing replaced our entire roof last year, and then performed an inspection this year. The work is excellent. We have not had a single roof problem since the work was done. Contrast this to the builder's roof, which experienced leaks every two or three years, in spite of multiple repairs. The price was fair for the work done (we have a large home, over 3,000 SF). The quote was firm, fixed price, and included any additional repairs, such as new decking or additional tiles. I highly recommend them if you need roof work of any kind.

I recently used Barrera Roofing for a complete redo of my tile roof and resealing of two smaller flat areas. Their estimator, Gilbert, presented a very detailed picture show of current conditions and concerns followed up by very detailed estimates in writing along with references for roofs done in my neighborhood by them. Neighbors gave them glowing reviews which added to my confidence in hiring them. The price given was all inclusive - no hidden add ons after the job started. The job was completed in 3 1/2 days by a very efficient, professional and courteous crew. The crew foreman gave me an update on their progress every day. They left the job site spotless after and even power washed my driveway at the end. Disruption was minimal and all communication was very clear. At the end of the job Gilbert gave a follow up presentation with before, during and after pictures and made sure I was completely satisfied before collecting final payment. Barrera Roofing did a complete tile roof replacement for us. The whole experience was very professional and the workmanship excellent. The existing condition was well documented and they did a wonderful job with documenting every step of the replacement. They advised us on the replacement materials and only use the best quality product they can find. Their crew got the work done quickly and cleaned up each day. I had Barrera Roofing do a complete removal and installation of my tile roof. The original installation was very poorly done and had quite a few problems. Gilbert Barrera was very timely in providing a quote and responsive to my questions.
I did receive other quotes which were lower and proposed lower grade materials along with potential extra charges. Barrera Roofing's quote was complete and with high grade materials. You get what you pay for.
Because of work load it took about 6 months to get to the project. Once here they did the project in a week. Very well done and they were very neat. NO EXTRA CHARGES and they did the job right. Highly recommend Barrera Roofing...worth the wait.

Barrera is a very professional roofing contractor. Gilbert provide me with a comprehensive roof inspection and provided photos to illustrate potential problems, provided photos of the work in process and provided project completion photos . Barrera replaced my tar paper underlayment with Polyglass underlayment and installed several roofing vents. They completed the project earlier than scheduled, provided identical tile replacements where needed and left my property very clean. I highly recommend Barrera roofing.

We live in Quail Creek and needed to replace our roof. Barrera was very thorough in evaluating our problems and did a fantastic job in a very short time. Because they started on a Thursday they offered to work Saturday and were done on Monday! The entire roof was removed, and all underlayment replaced too. The new roof has many more tiles to provide the coverage we need and we couldn't be happier. Great crew. Easy to work with!

Barrera Roofing was impressive!!! This is a top-notch roofing company. They were reasonably priced, very professional, on-time. They even had to remove some solar equipment that was supposed to be removed by Tesla prior to their arrival. I highly recommend them.

In 2019 Barrera Roofing reroofed my entire housel. They are very accommodating, good communicators and professional in their trade. They offered different levels of roofing from the basic one layer of roofing underlayment to higher caliber choices. In 2022 I exercised my option to extend the Barrera roof warranty for another three years. That extension does cost a few hundred dollars; however, it includes an inspection of the roof, the repair of any damage noted, the cleaning of the gutters and the removal of any accumulated debris.
I am very pleased with my association with Barrera and have recommended them to several other residents of my community.

During the initial roof inspection Gilbert took pictures of my roof to show the sub-standard work that was done initially by the builder’s roofers. He explained what should have been done to do the job correctly and how they would correctly install new underlayment. Ricky and his crew also took pictures as the work progressed to show the quality and professionalism of their work. They arrived on time to start and completed the work in the time promised. Upon completion of the work they thoroughly cleaned the yard of debris and nails. I am happy that I chose them for the work. They are one of the best contractors that ever performed work for me.

I agreed to use this company because no one else came by to show me pictures on an iPad and show me exactly what was going to be done! Day job started Ricky (foreman in charge) was super nice, tried to do a formal introduction day job started but I was not available. In 2020 we decided to replace our existing clay tile roof on our Tubac Arizona house. We had done a number of repairs on the roof over the past ten years due to leaks and damaged tiles and eventually it became obvious that a complete replacement was in order.

We started by getting three bids. The Barrera LLC bid was in the middle of the three bids and based on a recommendation from a relative who had their roof replaced by Barrera we decided to inquire further with them. Barrera sent their client manager Gilbert down to look at our roof and explain the process and materials that they utilize. We were very impressed by Gilbert’s professionalism and responsiveness to our questions all of which were answered to our satisfaction. After selecting a concrete roof tile choice we entered into a contract with them.

We had hoped to be onsite when the roofing project started but unfortunately the pandemic foiled our plans and we had to rely on Gilbert and the roofing crew to do the job in our absence. Gilbert was very helpful throughout this process, sending us photos and quickly following up on the progress of the job and answering all of our questions.

When we finally arrived in Tubac this spring we were very impressed with what we saw. We called Gilbert and he promptly agreed to come down and do a walk around and run through all of the photos taken during the roof replacement. He very professionally answered the few remaining questions we had about some of the important details like flashing, roof penetrations, underlayment, and rotted wood replacement.

We can honestly say that the job that Barrera did for us was by far the most professional and competently done job we have ever had on a roofing remodel project. This was the fourth roof replacement we have had done on our homes since we became home owners some 40 years ago, so we have had some considerable experience in this regard. The roof looks amazing, the quality of the materials and workmanship is “5 star” and the professionalism and responsiveness of Gilbert and the Barrera roofing company is as good as it gets. Not to mention the incredible clean up job they did – you couldn’t even tell they had been here except for the new roof!

The Quote was very precise and detailed and Gilbert ,who inspected our roof and made the presentation, was very professional and straight forward when he sat down with us and outlined the process.
