Lumber is excellent quality. Arrow straight 2×4s. It's better to buy here locally as the time and fuel it takes to drive to home depot to buy lumber that is not as quality as Baldwins simply isn't worth it. Plus now Baldwin sells landscape materials and as a landscape contractor this is a huge plus for me. They sell really good poopy composty soil that plants and sod go beserk over. Couldn't be happier with Baldwin

This place is outstanding and Adrian is a gem to work with. We sent her the plans for a 1200sf addition and not only was almost all the lumber grade A and perfect she figured it down correctly to the last board. We ended up buying everything we could from them because they are such a pleasure to deal with and the quality is top notch. The inside of the store is super cool too with lots of Milwaukee power tools to choose from and things like bbq pellets at a good price. AAA+

Great quality lumber and excellent service. I always feel welcome there and they are always ready to help with ideas. It is less expensive and better quality to buy here than spend the gas and time to drive into Spokane. I have built a large shop, multiple decks, and home using their products.

They have been pretty accommodating here lately. I'm glad they are here and honestly I prefer to buy stuff here rather then traveling to Spokane

I look forward to delivering to Baldwin a few times a month like I do. The guys in the yard are on top of it every time I'm there, even if you have to wait while they help a customer they communicate well with you what's going on so you know your spot in line. Keep up the good work

Bladwin has a lot going for it. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. They have easy access from Agar rd.

Baldwin sells superior lumber. Not all lumber is the same. If you want straight lumber without twists or cracks this is the place to get it. You will pay slightly more than you will at Diamond but you will make up the difference in fuel by not having to return 1/3 of your pallet of 2x4's.

This is the place I go if the quality of the build is most important.

High quality lumber.... typically much better than I need I only buy what I have to there for wood. I do buy BBQ pellets here as they are priced for what they cost on online. If I'm not making a trip into Spokane, I go here but know I will be paying up for the nicer lumber. For my needs, I typically go into town which saves me money. I've found straps here for same money or less than in town. I haven't bought much else here. People overall seem nice.

I called into Baldwin today and the girl I talked to was really helpful in trying to help me find some specific fencing that I needed, when the other big farm stores wouldn't give me the time of day.

Ive been dealing with them for over 3 years and I would consider them very nice to work with. The owner is an extremely service oriented man, who works hard to keep his prices at an affordable level.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
