Worked on master bathroom remodel. This contractor is professional, knowledgeable and reliable. Everyone that came to work on the project knew their trade and was very professional. They delivered on everything we asked for and the result was awesome. This is our first remodel and A.W. Viohl knocked it out of the park. Owner, Andrew is extremely caring and listens to his customers. We look forward to doing more projects with him.

Just had Andrew and his team finish a bathroom remodel and am incredibly pleased with the result. Every person involved in the job did quality work. The oversight of the work, coordination of different sub contractors and the communication on what was being done, what to expect and confirmation of details was exceptional.

We were first introduced to A.W. Viohl's work when my mom was renovating her kitchen and then through renovating my sister's kitchen. In each body of work, the final product displayed their attention to detail and dedication to their craft.

Drew and team renovated our basement after it flooded while we were on vacation. From the initial conversation, you can tell how much they care and the details they need in order to complete the work. While their work is A+, their ability to relate and speak to both my wife and I, speaks to their character and values of the company. Their patience, willingness to go above and beyond, and ability to work within our budget was top notch.

I hired Andrew and his crew to build a front porch for my house. I cannot express how over the moon happy I am with the results. The porch looks like it was meant to be. The entire crew was friendly, professional, and very contentious. I will happily use them again on future projects.

Project number two is done and again I am completely happy with the results. I had Drew and team remodel my kitchen/dining room, took down the wall between the rooms, closed up the previous door to the deck, converted the windows in the old dining room into French doors, and replaced the deck. They did amazing work. Drew was upfront and honest with each step of the process, helped me make good decisions and got me my dream kitchen. The photos don't do it justice.

Andrew and his team were great to work with — very responsive, professional, and friendly. Todd offered great suggestions during the planning phase that really enhanced the look of the finished product. Site was cleaned up at end of each day, the project was finished promptly, and Andrew made sure we were happy with the new deck.

Andrew and his team came out to remodel/finish my basement. They laid flooring, installed drywall, painted the ceiling and walls, installed lighting, and framed out a wall to divide the space in two. I had an electric fireplace that also needed installed, but they realized the specs wouldn't work out for the space I had intended it for. Andrew adapted quickly and they built a bump out on the wall so that it would fit. I also wanted built in shelving under the stairs and it came out perfectly. The stairs leading into the basement were crooked and they straightened them out to ensure the built in shelves would look good. I am impressed and beyond happy about the work that was done and would not hesitate to recommend them.

Andrew and his team deliver high quality workmanship within promised timelines. The team provides creative solutions. Prices estimates came in on target which is always a relief clients. I was extremely pleased with the depth of transparency in communication, and daily follow up by Andrew himself. I will use AW Viohl for my next project.

I am beyond thrilled with the work that A.W. Viohl Contracting did for me and my family. My kitchen looks even better than I had envisioned. Andrew and his team were professional, on-time, communicative, and just all around nice people. We took a chance on hiring this company based mostly on their BBB rating and never looked back. They did a beautiful job of remodeling our kitchen. Their attention to detail can only be described as perfect, giving us more than we could have ever imagined. This alone would warrant a great review, but this company takes everything to the next level. They are truly a band of brothers not related by blood but rather by having a great respect for each other and their boss, Drew, who leads by example . They are pleasant, respectful, neat,honest, and truly interested in giving the customer the best all around experience. We not only got a gorgeous kitchen( I can still say that 6 months later), we also made new friends who we would recommend in a heartbeat.

Here’s a description of the work we had done to give the pictures justice.

Master Bath
- rip out hideous built in tub
- rip out existing shower, reroute water to head on opposite end of shower
- remove linen closet to extend shower
- build half wall in shower to allow for more natural light
- rip out and replace vanity, flooring, light fixtures etc.
- fix drywall, paint, trim etc

We couldn’t be happier with how this came out. We had a number of ideas - Drew and team were able to accommodate all of them while filling in the gaps that we hadn’t thought of. You don’t have to be a contractor yourself to work with them which was incredibly helpful. Drew had great suggestions for how to tie things all together and communicated with us every step of the process. We chose some unique materials such as the 24x48 tile you see in the shower and a 400 lbs vanity that took some additional effort just to get inside. They had no problems working with any of our selections.

- replace countertops
- replace lighting
- add backsplash
- new sink

This was an excellent choice when compared to gutting and rebuilding the entire kitchen. The backsplash, counter tops, new outlets and lighting made an incredible difference when compared to the blue corian counter tops and orangish wood we had before. You can see from the photos that the workmanship is excellent. We recently had a holiday party at the house and received endless complements. A truly great space now.

The last piece I’ll touch on which is on the top of people’s list is budget. AW Viohl provided a competitive quote when compared to other local builders. Beyond that the difference in the final cost was only a result of choices we made above our documented allowance which we new we’d incur going into this.

There were a couple of very minor things that happened along the way - refrigerator door was slightly dented during the counter install - I mention this not because it was a big deal but because Drew agreed to cover the cost of replacing it without any hassle whatsoever.

I previously mentioned the 400 lbs vanity…we ordered this not knowing it came fully assembled and without knowing how heavy it truly was. Without question this required a moving company to get it up the tightly angled staircase and back into the master bath. I wouldn’t have attempted to bring it in with 3 of me and I’m 6’3” 250. Drew offered to split this expense with us which I thought was more than fair.

Bottom line - AW Viohl was transparent, did excellent work, stuck to the timeline, communicated throughout the process, asked for our input on anything that required a decision (added great value in suggesting what to do). In addition they were flexible in scheduling around a few days we new we needed the house clear. Drew and team were great, they didn’t nickel and dime us with minor things along the way. I would use them again.

AW Viohl increased our front patio size and installed a portico over it. End result is fabulous. We had trouble with the work a sub contractor did at the start but AW was quick to remedy the issue. Had an issue with a gutter almost a year later and they repaired that too. Andrew and Todd are very nice, professional gentlemen. We would call them for future jobs too.

I hired them to do a bathroom remodel this past June/July and was overall very pleased with the completed job. Especially given that we needed to work and coordinate around the holiday. All of the workers were very communicative, professional and really helped us bring our vision to life. From material selection to the final touches, they were sure that they had our approval throughout the project. I would certainly recommend them to others or use them again for future projects.

I hired A W Viohl Contracting to remodel my 60 year old kitchen and it was so beautiful and more functional after it was completed. He and his team turned my kitchen into one that was so pretty. I couldn't believe it. They were always on time and included me in the process of coming up with the design. My project was done in 2020 and it is still a pleasure to walk into it everyday. They were very respectful of my home and always cleaned up never leaving a mess for me. Viohl did a complete renovation of all three of our bathrooms last year. Their quality, workmanship, and professionalism were of the highest standards. Once we agreed on the project timing, they arrived on schedule and maintained steady work progress despite some vendor supply issues and project additions after work was underway. The crew was polite, worked neatly, and were respectful of our home. We have been very happy and satisfied with the project results and will be hiring Viohl again for additional work.

We have used this company for an addition, a complete bathroom remodel and replacement windows. They show attention to detail and will make sure you are completely satisfied before they are done.
Andrew worked with us for our addition when we had a scribble sketch on paper to understand what our vision was, we couldn't be happier with the end project. They will also offer their professional advice and opinions and many times have offered suggestion to actually enhance the project. We would not use any other company.

Came out to quote my bathroom for a project two weeks ago almost, I have called multiple times to find out if they had worked up a quote and left messages and have had no response. I was certainly looking forward to using them since I had a positive interaction with gentleman than came out to look over my bathroom. Maybe a fluke, maybe now, office staff should have gotten back to me back now to even tell me if a delay.
