WORST MISTAKE OF MY LIFE HIRING THIS COMPANY.

I had an electrical fire at my house 10/15/23. Atlantic Restoration promised to get my house smoke/water damage free. Pull all necessary permits. Pack my contents and bring them to storage where they were to be inventoried and cleaned. First off - Kelsey did not fill out the demolition permit properly which led to a Stop Work Order on my home.

I was stopping at my house frequently and their employees had left my home unlocked multiple times, turned my heat up to 85 degrees and ruined my bathroom with poor hygiene which they were not allowed to use. I only have temporary power still to this day and Atlantic Restorations workers were using my granite mantel as a kitchen with their own personal microwaves.

On top of the abuse to my home - they abused my personal property which they had documented in the walk thru photos in perfect condition, warehouse photos I noticed damaged metal items, an incomplete inventory of my items they packed out and their workers sitting and placing items improperly on the little I had left.

They advised me to send them the partial check from insurance which I listened to - this is the first time I've ever had to deal with a structure fire/being out of my home. Told me they would hold the check until we had a full scope of work for the new construction. They cashed it two days after I wrote it.

In the meantime I was getting upset with how they were handling myself, my home and contents - we had a meeting with Joe Gibertoni, in that time I was deciding to continue working with Atlantic Restoration or not.

They quit on me 12/18/23 - and are requesting the full amount of demolition/remediation and storage of my contents when Atlantic Restoration admitted they did not complete the full scope of work regarding pack-out/demolition/remediation of smoke/water damage.

Today is 1/8/24 and I am still without $24,760.23, all of my personal belongings from my house and no one will answer the phone or give me any updates.

Do not choose this company. I'm extremely anxious and disappointed in how they are handling a life altering disaster. They will destroy your home/contents and leave you in limbo as long as they feel is necessary.

Very happy with the outcome of our restoration and rebuild. The carpenter team was awesome and I was very pleased with Brian and his responsiveness to our needs. Kelsey was very supportive behind the scenes and Kevin painted so many areas beautifully. Thank you again!

Excellent customer service (Gabby) is amazing. They really work hard to make sure the client is satisfied. Truly nice to have them in your corner.

Jeff and his team helped us when we needed it the most. We had a water leak in the restaurant and instead of closing we were able to stay open for the next day. HOUZPITAL actually cared about my business.

At first this Jeff G guy looked like a radio DJ but he and his team at Houzpital were able to make everything as good as normal or better. These folks are able to get insurance to pay out as expected or even more in order to rebuild your life.

If you are looking for a company that is professional, cares about your safety, and pays attention to every detail, I recommend you call upon the company Houzpital. There workers are excellent and will take care of your every needs. Great company.

I am absolutely thrilled with the work houzpital did on my kitchen remodel! From start to finish, their team was professional, attentive, and highly skilled. They listened to my vision, offered great design suggestions, and turned my outdated kitchen into a modern, functional, and stunning space.

The quality of their craftsmanship is exceptional – every detail, from the cabinets to the countertops, was done with precision and care. They stayed on schedule and kept me informed throughout the entire process, which made everything stress-free.

They worked quickly and efficiently, keeping me updated every step of the way. The quality of their work was outstanding. My house looks better than it did before the damage! They even went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, paying attention to every little detail.

Our kitchen remodel was a complicated one in that it was a mix of both insurance payoff and “private funds” since many upgrades we wanted were out of the scope of the insurance payout. Couple that with the facts that every time a wall was opened or the floor removed, either asbestos or mold was discovered, leading to many insurance related delays.
Through it all, our project manager, Gabby Radin, was the bright spot through all of this. She was in our corner the whole time fighting for the maximum insurance payout, keeping me abreast of all of the work scheduling, doing her best to accelerate whatever she could, and most of all, she made herself available 24/7 via text. She knew how important the kitchen remodel was to my family and made us feel we were her top priority. Another neat thing Gabby did was to give us the 3D rendering of what our kitchen would look like, which gave us the opportunity to revise things before any work was done.
There were times, though, when the insurance and company policies did frustrate us and caused a number of delays throughout the remodel, but again, Gabby made sure to do everything in her power to shepherd things along.
The end result was literally the kitchen of our dreams - as my wife said “what I’ve always wanted since we moved here 20 years ago”! So we went from 70’s chic to a modern kitchen as you can amply see in the before and after pics.

I just had a wonderful experience working with this company. Their professionalism and knowledge made a very stressful situation very smooth. We had water damage from a central air system that went into walls causing damage. Brian LaFountain was our project manager and his knowledge and professionalism was top notch. Kelsey was the office staff who worked directly with insurance company making the process smooth and less stressful. Highly recommend this company. Great quality work, combined with professionalism which can be hard to come by these days.

Brian and Adriana were great at communicating and delivering a timely completion for our home insurance claim. Nick did such great work on our home that I’ve solicited his services for other projects.

Great work, timely and efficiently executed repairs to our flooring and patio doors. Ryan and his team worked with us at every step of the way.

I suffered storm damage to my roof and the master bedroom ceiling. My insurance company selected two restoration companies for me. I picked Atlantic Restoration since they assured me they could accomplish all of the work needed to complete the task. They evaluated the tasks to be done, to include a packout of my household goods. Once begun the entire project with roof repair, ceiling repair, painting and packout and unloading took about a week. The working team was always friendly, professional, and technically talented. I am very pleased with the quality of the work. Atlantic Restoration, led by their Project Manager - Ryan Jehnings, is highly recommended by me and my family for all restoration work needs.

AR is awesome. We had nine inches in the building after a Sunday deluge. Monday Carlos and the crew came in and set up. Three days later, we were dry as a bone! Thx Atlantic Restoration!

Employees of this company visited a local ice cream shop tonight in their company van and while waiting to receive their order, I watched them steal the markers off the counter and laugh as the (very young) employees were doing their jobs and did not notice their immature behavior. Then these men returned to their company vehicle like nothing happened. While it's not about the stolen markers, do you really want people like this to represent your company in public and take advantage of the young employees of a local family owned business and laugh about it? Maybe find better staff that doesn't act like children while the respectful and kind staff (that are probably half these men's ages) are taking care of them in a professional way. I applaud those girls for their professionalism while I can't say the same for the grown men taking advantage of a local business and its employees. The audacity and arrogance it takes to act like that in public. Who knows, what goes around might come back to bite you. Shame.

I had water leaking from the roof of my house behind my cedar siding. Atlantic Restoration came and fixed the problem very quickly and efficiently. I want to thank Greg, Brian and Ryan for their help. I also want to commend Rick and his helper. I would rate them five stars.

I found Ryan very personable, easy to deal with very helpful. He was clear in what was going to be done. Timelines were workable for me. When I had questions he always responded. Today it seems people don’t get back to you quickly or at all. He made it less stressful for me. His buddy Brian like Ryan. They seemed always ready to go the extra mile. It was a pleasure to deal Ryan!

I cannot express how much gratitude I have to this company for fixing our dining room. Before we met with the team, I was having real issues with the insurance company. The team took over immediately without any hesitation. This team is excellent when it comes to finishing any project and do not play around when it comes to the level of professionalism they bring. Big shot out to Ryan Jehnings for overseeing the entire project, keeping me up to date on progress, and being available for any questions. It has been a pleasure working with this company. I look forward to working with this team again.

Carlos’s team and Stuart’s team are very professional and humanized. When we met with disasters and difficulties, theirs team help us and always prioritized our needs, accommodate our wishes, swiftly resolve all of problems, make us back to home so quickly. Very good company!

Atlantic Restoration was assigned to us by our insurance after our water heater burst. Everyone was great. Very professional and fixed any hiccup in a timely manner. Ryan and Rodrigo were a great team. Thank again!

We had a garage fire, luckily My Son came out and stopped more severe damage from happening, but we still need a lot of help with our house. Jeff and the team from Atlantic have been here and let me know exactly what was going to happen every step of the way. so far I am happy with progress and I can’t wait to see what my house looks like when we’re finished

We had an upstairs bathroom leak that flooded the kitchen overhead. Our USAA insurance contacted a Preferred Contractor, Atlantic Restoration & Remodeling Group and they came in for the rebuild of our ceiling including light fixtures. They did a tremendous job! They cut out a large area of the ceiling drywall, replaced it and the overhead light fixtures. It looks perfect! You can't even tell any damage ever occurred. Of special note was our Atlantic Project Manager, Gabby Radin who was "on-top of everything" at every step in the project with great communication, scheduling and project leadership. Thanks very much.

I had a water leak un my condo and Carlos and the Atlantic crew were wonderful! Came late at night and set up fans to dry the water and then fixed the problem! Honest courteous service and very fair! I would definitely call them again!!!

Due to heavy rains our basement unexpectedly flooded. Half of the area was carpet and soaked through. Atlantic Restoration was available right away and provided prompt responses to questions. The crew was meticulous and super helpful. During a high stress time feeling comfortable that capable and competent professionals were available to help resolve an issue was a relief. Highly recommend them!

Ryan Jehnings was a great GC for this project. What started as a modest remodel from a water leak in upstairs bathroom - escalated to a full blown remodeling of first floor ceilings and remodel of bathroom. Ryan was very professional and prompt in responding to the myriad of questions I posed to him. He was on top of every aspect of the project from start to finish. Hopefully, I will not need these kinds of services in the future but it I do, Atlantic R&R and Ryan will be my first call.

My in-laws had their basement flood a few weeks back in the heavy rainstorms. One call to Atlantic put everything in motion. The crew came out started the clean up and dry out process and were amazing. Start to finish I highly recommend this company!! An amazing job and very reasonable! This is the company to call!!

We had an excellent experience with Atlantic last year and would highly recommend them to others. They restored our home from water damage, we were referred to them by Amica insurance. The project leader Ryan Jehnings did a great job helping my wife and I with the restoration. Ryan listened closely to our requests, made great recommendations to match our preference's, helped us understand the process (was all new to us), and was available anytime we needed questions answered. He goes above and beyond. At one point there was a supply problem with our tile and Ryan drove all the way to New Haven to make sure we had the tile we had chosen for the installer at the planned time. All the contractors from Atlantic that were used were very skilled and are all very nice people. They also were very helpful with advice. The flooring company they used, Valley Flooring, was also excellent and we are very pleased with the results. Hope we won’t need them again but if we do would not hesitate to contact them!

We had a great experience with Atlantic. The team was friendly and efficient replacing our roof, and they result looks great. In particular, Ryan did a fantastic job as the overall project manager—clear, timely, professional, and he kept us informed every step of the way throughout the entire process.

Well to start, my pipe burst at around 8:30 am on a Sunday morning. I called the company . They arrived at my house in 35 minutes. They came with 3 trucks and about 6 guys. A man named Carlos was in charge. He told me not to worry they will take care of everything. They got all the water out in no time. Now I was working with this young woman named Gabby. She took care of everything, she made all the calls for replacing sheetrock,flooring tile. I mean everything. From start to finish she was there. I can't say enough about the company. If your home has any kind of damage call them first. Once again thank you for everything. Joe

They not only helped me find a plumber, but also came out (in a very timely manner) to help clean up the water mess. Twice during the year 2023, I had occasion to reach out to Atlantic Restoration for emergency services relating to a homeowners claim through USAA. First and foremost, the company was extremely responsive in every respect and the Project Manager, Gabriella Radin was a True Professional in every aspect of the project and managed a consistently outstanding team, which she had concentrated around her to handle my claim. The second claim is currently pending, and although I am saddened that I have to call upon them twice in one year for their outstanding services , I am greatly comforted by the fact that I’ve seen them perform, and their work is exceptional in every respect. Commencing with the initial assessment, through the period of on site work and final completion, they were totally outstanding; always attentive to my needs and concerns, and demonstrated the high degree of professionalism that has all too often been forgotten in the United States in many areas of the service world. I hope this review is of benefit to those prospective customers that may be indecisive about contracting with Atlantic Restoration. Rest assured, that every aspect of the project that they completed for me was outstanding, and I expect nonetheless as they start on another unfortunate claim that I am setting forth as we speak. In summation, I’d like to say once again, Atlantic is a top-notch company with top-notch staff who have really met the mission and have delivered for me a top-notch service and a quality end product for which I am forever grateful. Had a flood in our cellar, called our insurance and they recommended Atlantic restoration. They came out that night, cleaned up, got us stabilized and have handled everything for us. Everyone that they sent out has been professional and very helpful.

I had severe water damage in both my kitchen and bedroom. The kitchen had to be a total remodel. To the rescue came Tim Burby who made sure everything was completed to perfection. Tim was in constant contact to make sure everything was done timely and to my satisfaction. My kitchen came out just beautiful! The Atlantic Team as a whole are easy to communicate with and want to make sure the customer is satisfied with their work. Tim is a true asset to the company and was a life saver for me during the entire process!!

I met Greg Incerto, an Estimator at Atlantic Restoration & Remodeling Group, under extremely difficult circumstances. My parents' house experienced a devastating gas explosion. Their once beautiful home was reduced to rubble.

Greg did an outstanding job securing the property. He was kind, caring, patient, professional and an expert in his field. His communication skills were excellent and I found him extremely easy to work with. I immediately trusted Greg, and I knew my parents' best interests were in highly competent hands. When my father had the opportunity to meet Greg, his reaction was an endorsement of his professional capability and work ethic.

I highly recommend Greg and the company he represents. There is a fire damage cleanup phase next, and based on the positive experience we had with Greg, we will move forward and hire them to complete this overwhelming task.

With the recent heavy rains our sump pump failed and we needed help quick and in a hurry - Atlantic to the rescue! They were quick and responsive, and communicated clearly every step of the way. I hope I don’t need them again, but if we run into this kind of trouble in the future, there’s no reason to call any other company. Atlantic did a great job for us - thanks, guys!

Atlantic came along did what they said they would do, but after they left, we found items they had packed up and returned where broken, cracked and destroyed. Emailed them and get a response, but then nothing. Now get out of office responses to email saying they will be back on the 5th of June, shame it's the 5th of July. Completely useless, I would never use this company again or recommend them to anyone else.

On the 4th of July our basement flooded about four inches of water. We called Atlantic and they came out within the hour and Carlos and his crew dried us out. Super personal and friendly he explained the process and made us feel comfortable after an awful day .I highly recommend Atlantic!!

Our best service experience has been with Atlantic Restoration and Remodeling (rebuild of our house due to a fridge leak). Atlantic meets our expectations for project management communications and quality, informing us daily and over weekends of next steps and updates. Additionally, the quality of the materials and work done exceeded the standard of what we already had. Every task has also been on or ahead of schedule. Atlantic demonstrates a gold standard in service.

A tree fell on my house on 9/24/2020. Although, things started out well and ended well, the two years in between have been a nightmare! If the contractors did their jobs right the first time, things would have been completed within months. Tom, , my latest contractor (after 5 others) got things done! C&J painting came to the rescue and redid the poor work done by other contractors. Thank you, Tom for ending my nightmare! You’re awesome!!!

My family had the unfortunate situation of a tree falling across our roof. The damage was quite extensive and we were all overwhelmed. Atlantic restoration really came to our rescue. It was amazing how quickly Atlantic restoration had the appropriate people at our home to remove the tree and tarp a roof to prevent further damage. CHRIS @Atlantic was an amazing intricate part of the process of repairing or rebuilding. He made the insurance process entirely understandable during this confusing time. He took the burden from my family as he was dealing with adjusters as a true professional and got the job done. The few times that he did not answer his phone when I called In real time he called me back within minutes. That sort of personal attention is priceless. At this point as you read I know I am getting long winded but it is so important to realize that there are so many moving parts to a process such as this.
Shane was the project manager and was the most prompt, knowledgeable, patient, detailed professional you could ever want to be manning all the moving parts of a project.
Austin, Marco and team! Amazing!!! These men were so conscience and kind when the time came to bring all the belonged that had to be removed and kept in storage at Atlantic. They handled everything item with such carefulness and respect.
There are so many other individuals who worked behind the scenes and I thank you all for your hard work. We are one very happy family with everything you provided for us. Thank you!

I had an excellent experience with this group. Very professional. After clean up replaced everything precisely. I would highly recommend them.

We needed asbestos tile removed after a pipe break and damaged the carpet laid over it. The tile was removed and, low and behold, there was a beautiful hardwood floor beneath it. Our house is over 100 years old and they cleaned up the floor so we’ll definitely be refinishing it. Appreciate the eye for detail.

The men who came out before the job started were very professional. There was also follow-up after they were done. The workers worked long hot days but were very pleasant. The only less than five star rating is the cost.
A job well done and I would recommend them to others.

I’ll start the review with a positive, great company for quick and efficient clean up and demolition. That’s where it ends. Do not go with Atlantic Restoration if you want to do a remodel. What was promised as a 2-4 week project has now turned into a 3 month ordeal with no plan for and end date. Work is done 1 or 2 days a week with any ones guess for when contractors will show up for the things they cannot handle i.e. plumbing and electrical which pushes the project back even more since everyone is waiting on the person before them to finish their portion of the project. Extremely disappointed by the lack of communication and coordination with this company.

My rental house had a leak in the roof which created mold in the garage area. I had no idea what needed to be done to keep my tenants safe. I called Courtney in the office and she was able to get Carlos and his team there right way. They contacted my insurance company, had the house tested, cleaned up the mold & tarped the leak before a big snow & rain storm. Since the roof was already leaking I had them replace the whole roof which they did an awesome job. They kept my tenants informed in what they were doing and cleaned up everyday. Courtney & Carlos made an bad experience into an easy clean up. Thank you

Atlantic Restoration and Remodeling Group along with Ryan the director of Mitigation were one of the most professional companies I had the pleasure to work with when I needed a abatement. I began working with the company once my insurance agency put me in contact with them. Ryan held my hand throughout the entire process to make it as smooth as possible. He kept me informed every step of the way and always answered any text that I sent him. I would highly recommend this company and Ryan if you ever need work completed.

We had water damage throughout our whole entire bottom floor we didn’t know which way to go or whom to call we finally found Atlantic they came out and helped us solve our problem the only reason why I did not give them five stars is that it was like a roller Roller coaster trying to get our schedule in order and which days. The project manager that we had was not committed to us as he told us he would be. I would gladly use your company again hopefully I won’t have too. One thing I did love about the company was the cleaning girl that came out she did a wonderful job with cleaning up Everything I wish I could hire her.

My insurance recommended Ryan from Atlantic Restoration to take care of damage caused by a water leak ruining my carpet, wall, shoes, tile etc. Ryan called me to set up an appointment not even 10 minutes after I hung up the phone with my insurance agent. Ryan sent his crew over to start the clean up immediately. He has been extremely helpful and made this process super easy. He took the lead and has been the middle man between my insurance company and my condominium association relieving me from dealing with them. I was impressed by his efficiency and promptness to keep me up to date. I will definitely recommend his services to family and friends. They have been nothing but excellent.
