I used this company to repair the roof of my building. The building was so old and the roof was so worn that it had to be replaced. Samuel had great pride and knowledge about his work, and explained my questions in an easy-to-understand manner. Seeing that, I trusted him and with that trust, I entrusted this project to him. He and his staff completed it successfully and were very satisfied with the results. I would confidently recommend this company to anyone wanting roof repairs.

Sam and his crew from Apex Roofing were great to deal with. Our house and shop roofs were 26 years old, so it was time to them both replaced. We got quotes from three different contractors, Sam’s was in the middle, but what sold it for us was the way the quote was written and detailed out, and the fact that he gave us houses that they had already done and that they we’re doing so we could go look at, and the quality of product that they offered. His crew is very efficient. They were on time. They were courteous and they cleaned up each day before they left. The communication from Sam during the whole project was spot on, there was some damage to the sheeting they had found during the tear off that looked questionable, Sam notified us right away and they took care of it without question. The roofs looks beautiful, we are so happy with house and shop turned out. We would recommend Apex Roofing, if you need your roof replaced or repaired! A BIG thank you to Sam, through the whole process, we felt like our options and questions were important and we were heard and answered promptly.

We needed to replace our old shake roof with quality low fire risk materials. We were happy with the different materials offered through Apex at different price points. We found their rates very competitive. The project took a few days longer than expected but there was good communication throughout. We are very pleased with our new roof and the quality of the product and installation. I really appreciated too how responsive their administrative assistant (Elizabeth) was via email. She would almost always email back the same day and that gave us confidence in the process.

We worked with Sam on replacing our roof in April of 2022. We had heat tape all along the gutters on all our roofs and we asked Sam to make sure they put all of that back when the new roof was on.

We were pleased with Sam's work, until winter came and a small boatload of snow fell on our roofs and only one out of five heat tapes was working, creating a hazard with icicles in our gutters. We do not own equipment that can get us to the roof line, but we took photos with a drone and saw the heat tape plugs were all left in the gutters.

When we finally were able to reach Sam, he was downright belligerent and refused to take responsibility. I was really taken aback by his attitude towards it.

At the end of our conversation, I said to Sam that I had expected a different response and that I felt his responses were denying any responsibility for this mistake and his refusal to address it is extremely disappointing.

I would have gladly referred more work to Sam and his company, but after this interaction, I am disappointed. Sam is not someone who stands behind his work. At one point, he mentioned that "other people were working." Yes, other people were working on replacing our stairs, but these people never set foot near, let alone on the actual roof, so it's a mystery to us as to why those folks would have impeded with putting back the heat tape.

In closing, based on this interaction we would not do business with Sam in the future, nor would we recommend him or his company.

I contacted a number of contractors and found Sam at Apex to be fair priced and was able to fit my small roof replacement job in between some bigger jobs. He did a great job communicating and was a pleasure to work with. I would use Apex again.

Apex came to fix a leak in our roof once summer ended and it started pouring. They were easy to get a hold of and came quickly to fix the leak. I appreciated the quote on a new roof so we have an idea of what it will cost. It was nice that they followed up with me to made sure everything was dry. I will definitely be recommending Apex to others in need.

I started looking for a roofing company Friday morning and found Apex to be very responsive to getting a quote, setting a timeline, and finding materials. I hired them in the afternoon and they said they would tearoff the existing roof, that was damaged in high winds earlier that week, have it dried in that day and new installed on Monday.

On Saturday they arrived on time and went right to work. I added a couple tasks like installing 6 pieces of plywood and facia around it. Even with this they had the entire roof installed with the exception of 1 bundle that they were short. The weather report was favorable so they promised to have it finished monday afternoon.

On monday they arrived and had it finished within a half hour. I was surprised when I saw the invoice because they had thrown in the additional work. The original quote was exactly what i paid with no add-ons..

The roof looks great and the site was cleaned-up nicely. If i had anything I could complain about it would be the two nails i found on the driveway as they pulled out. Great work Samual and crew.

I had them inspect my roof last month for new roof replacement. While talking he sounded knowledgeable and I wanted to get the work done by him. However, I never received the estimate for more than a month. I called almost every week and sent text msgs. I was told that it was already sent, but I didn't get the estimate. I gave my secondary email to resend the estimate but still haven't got it. I wasted more than a month waiting for the estimates. I wish they had just told me if they were not interested in my project. This is very unprofessional.

Samuel came out and did the insepction of my 20 year old roof with weather and wind damage and provided the quote by that evening. Apex Roofing was able to start my job early and in 2 days the job was complete (full tear off and replacment). on day 1 I was notficed that I had improper venting, only 1 vent, and was not adaquate venting for the size of the roof. Proper venting was explained to me and why its imprtant for the health and longevity of my new roof. I have noticed already that my house gets cooler faster when running the A/C. I cant say enough about Samuel and Apex from start to finish A+ in my book.

I needed a detached garage re-roofed. I had the house re-roofed 3 years ago and I wanted them to match. Unfortunately, the shingles that I bought previously were discontinued. Samuel found similar shingles and I cannot tell the difference between the house and detached garage.
He did the work very quickly and it looks great!

We had a tile roof that had several significant issues from both wind damage and water penetration due to improper installation by another contractor years ago. Apex did an excellent job in identifying the underlying issues and correcting them. Highly recommend them.

We live on Maui and have our family home in Cashmere. This was a long distance business arrangement. Sam was easy to deal and communicate with. His estimate was fair and the better of two estimates that we received. The other business was "sure" that we needed to replace some plywood at $100/sheet by their quote, so I was a bit expectant that Sam would be adding extra cost but no, he was right on quote and from the pictures that he sent l am happy with the work.

We hired Apex for a new roof last year and recently hired them again for a painting project. Both times they were very professional and competitively priced. They finished the work quickly and cleaned up after themselves. I highly recommend Apex!

I was very pleased with a small repair Sam and his crew did for me. He replaced some shingles lost in our recent wind storms and even noticed I had an area that could become a leak and he fixed that as well. His communication is great whether email or phone. The cost was very reasonable and close to his estimate. I will certainly contact them when my roof needs replaced!

Apex Roofing did a great job on my flat roof which can be (from what I’m told) challenging. Samuel and his team were very professional, worked hard, on time, on budget, cleaned up the mess created by the job and were friendly to boot. They followed up with a visit to make sure everything was satisfactory, couldn’t have asked for more.

I started off just renting a dump trailer from the owner so I could strip the shingles and ended up hiring him to finish the roofing job because it was too hard! These guys are awesome, quality work, friendly, honest, and good prices.

Sam and his crew installed snow breaks on my metal roof in November of 2019.

They did a really good job matching the color of my existing roof, and installing the snow breaks on a very steep pitch. Their communication was perfect, they were here when they said they would be, and they finished the job in a timely manner. Their price was fair, and their work ethic was excellent.

Above all, they are really good people and I enjoyed having them at my home. I hope I get an opportunity to work with them again in the future, and I will recommend them to my friends.
